Musical plot 1 and a half [Town]

[Durp]

CHris sits in a camera room, looking at security footage in front of him. He sees only a screen with static on it. He glances around, whistling to himself.
This looks familiar...

[Beans]

He's currently fifteen.

One screen of many turns on.
It shows a girl laying against a wall in a cell.
She has long, dark hair and wears a simple white hospital gown.

[Durp]

He peers in closer, studying her.
Ah, crap, it's this place...

[Beans]

She begins... well... to sing.

Dear God, do you wanna send an angel down to hold me tight?
Dear God, can you climb off that tree you made into the shape of a T?
Dear God, take me away
from this place in your black limousine
Dear John and all the King's men can't put my head together again

She breaks down, sobbing.

[Durp]

Chris scowls. He glances around, looking for a cell number, or anything like that.
No, honey, going back in time to our traumatizing childhoods is a great dea, let's do it more often...

[Beans]

Cell 15.
She keeps sobbing.
A metal arm hangs limply from her shoulder.

[Durp]

He dashes out of the room, looking for cell 15. His own mechanical arm twitches.

[Beans]

A pair of guards find him before he does.
"What're you doing out of your cell, kid?"
"I think he's a new arrival, Ted."
"Huh."
They try to grab him and stuff.
His mechanical arm, because Plot screwed it over, lacks any weapons it might have had.
It's got a secret compartment with a certain device, but that's it...

[Durp]

He's grabbed. He tries to summon a chainsaw out of his arm, but realizes how screwed he actually is.
Crap!
He throws a punch at one of the guards.

[Beans]

Bonk.
The guard just grunts.
They haul him to a cell labeled "Unprocessed" and toss him in with a few other kids.

[Durp]

He lands on his face, and spits.
Erph.
He looks up at some of the other kids.
What in the hell?

[Beans]

There's a boy of 12 looking about as if trying to find some way to escape, a kid hunched in the corner, and a shivering girl of about 14.
They all look scared and confused.

Something in his arm goes klunk.

[Durp]

He looks over at it, then goes:
Uh, hello?

[Beans]

The boy looks over briefly.

The girl looks up at him and sniffles.

The thing in his arm is a vidfeed splicer.

[Durp]

He presses a button on it, raising an eyebrow.

[Beans]

It flips through a few feeds.
HALLWAY 3A: Nothing.
CELL 15: Thryza curled up on the floor.
HALLWAY 4B: A few guards and a tall man approaching.
Wait, they're approaching this room!

[Durp]

Hell.
HE looks around at the kids sitting in the room, then looks for some kind of improvised weapon, or escape route.

[Beans]

There is nothing.
Door opens.
The guards part to let the man through...
He's a tall, spry-looking old guy with a hard, sharp face and piercing pale eyes.
Well, hello there, children.
My name is Dr. Frasier.
Welcome to your new home.

[Durp]

Chris leers at him.
"Home"?

[Beans]

Well, "home" is a bit too warm-sounding.
New place of residence, at least.
Guards, let's show our new arrivals around.
The guards come in, each going to take two of the four kids by the arm. Including Chris.

[Durp]

Back off or I'll break your arm.
If they try to grab him, he'll try to do so with his metal arm.

[Beans]

Dr. Frasier goes to grab Chris's arm with his gloved hand.
If Chris tries to break it... klunk.
You're not the only one with mechanical limbs, boy.
If he has succeeded in grabbing his arm, the kids will be lead to a sort of cafeteria seperated into large cubicle-things.

[Durp]

He's taken.
I'm gonna be so happy when this place is a crater...

[Beans]

They are seated on a bench in a locked cubicle.
Frasier hits a button; the wall across from them turns transparent. He goes through its door.
On the other side is Thryza, seated at a table. A guard watches.
A plate of edible cubes is in front of her.
She reaches for one with her normal arm... ZZT.
Frasier clicks a remote and a collar around her lower neck shocks her. She lets out a small pained noise.
You know the routine, 15. We're working on your new arm, so use it.
She clumsily reaches for one with the metal arm, finally managing to eat it.
Several times during the eating of the cubes, she accidentally moves with her real arm and is shocked for it.

[Durp]

He rushes at the door, trying to yell to her. HE pounds on it with his mechanical arm.
THRYZA!!

[Beans]

The guards go to stop him, but Frasier shakes his head.
He exits through another door.
Chris is allowed into the room with Thryza, who is currently hugging her knees to her chest and breathing shakily.

[Durp]

He rushes over to her and kneels down by her, trying to wrap his arms around her.
Thryza, honey, oh god, what did they do to you..

[Beans]

She whimpers and shakily tries, not very well, to push him off her.
Don't touch me.
Nobody touch me.
Why won't everyone leave me alone?

[Durp]

He dismisses the attempt, and tries to hold her closer, stroking her hair. He begins to sing a bit.

Come out Thryza, don't let me wait
i'll get us outta here before it's too late

She just cries in his arms...
And then there's a change in her.
She feels tense. Her breathing is different.
