[TOWN] Beach II: Now With Extended Summer Fun

On the edge of town, there is a great and powerful place: The Beach! If theres an ocean, there has to be a beach! and not one of those rocky ones, I'm talking about nice smooth sand with eternally flowing waves. Until some villain decides to blow up the ocean. Think of the EVIL that would take! But until then, surfs up, ya? Comes fully equip with a trap door that leads to the Seaside Cave! Why a trap door? Because thats AWESOME.

When we last left our intrepid plotline:

Zeke's head sinks lower and he laughs weakly What I wanted to accomplish was to get some bloodlust out out me... his smile turns to a frown and he moans, putting his head in his hands But see, right there! What...that's not...I kill to protect, to rid the world of its repulsive and darkest evils! Do I really desire combat so?! Thats probably...more, a start of the confusion....

Thats what I just got done DOING! Zeke shouted, frustrated I cant do it...It's almost like, like I can only hit to kill, to feel the flesh give way and the blood to soak my blade and everything around it... he cringes and moans, sweat beading at his forhead, I dont know if I should fight...I... what if I really hurt you? he laughs painfully, Yeah, like thats a possibility, you're way beyond me, you humiliated me twice, what am I saying? I just dont know.... he shakes his head and takes a few deep breaths, trying to calm himself down.
Where was his self confidence? It was continuously being sundered by this place, each new step only opened new insecurities. C'mon, he urged himself, Bounce back already, what are you reducing yourself to, a little whiney brat? He takes a few more breaths.

(sorry I take so long on these, I'm just plumbing Zeke's depths, its how I find my cheap kicks)

Ha! he spits, rising Do I look like the kind of person who would use a cop issued baton stick whappy thingy? He laughs, weakly, head lolling a little. He pauses, then looks seriously at K Is it really right? You really think it's okay....to....to vent my frustrations through violence? he frowns, one of his typical ones. Anger, or just sternness. Not the previous frowns of weakness and confusion.... Violence is my profession, not an escape.

The....sub-basement? Zeke asks, curious, not even the slightest bit suspicious.
Well maybe....no, not in the slightest.

"Think, I dunno if you've ever heard of it, but:
A VR game.
You can vent your frustrations on things that don't really matter.
You kill them, and they'll be back in a few seconds.

Huh, yeah, I've heard of it, thats new technology back in my homeland...I never had one personally...
Still, isnt it the same? So what if it doesnt matter....its still venting with violence...
I'll look into it he says with a smile and a nod as K deadtimes Er....thanks..... he shrugs uncomfortably, I'm going to go check it out. And so he leaves, feeling actually quite a lot more relaxed, and yet still not understanding why.

I believe Ravik arrives now...

He does. With Wolver. He takes a quick look around and heads off to the right. Alright. Here, we are looking for a small, golden medallion. Probably gonna be harder to find. You might have to dig in the sand a little.

He heads to the other direction and when he's out of earshot he turns his back towards Wover and starts to dig he then whispers
All right Shaydon what do you think I should do?

The first thing to do would be to stop Wolver. But that will be very difficult. He is very powerful by himself. And he also possesses the wind spirit, Xerlic, making him more powerful.

There is another option. There is one who can defeat Ardwyn. But, before he is ready, he must have the power of all ten spirits. For that to happen, the six that are trapped must be freed.

if I was able to get this next spirit would it be possible to take down Wolver? Six spirits? Great...

Probably not. At this point, Ravik might see a glint of gold in the sand.

well what would I need to do to be able to take wolver down?
He sees the glint and goes over to dig it up making sure to keep his back to Wolver to cover up what he was digging up.

You would probably need at least four spirits to face Wolver. But that is a guess. I cannot be sure. He finds a golden medallion on a golden chain. The medallion has the Life base symbol carved into it. Ah, you have found Palta. The life spirit.

At this point, a soft female voice comes from the medallion. Shaydon? Is that you?

Yes. Wolver is back.

That is not good. Then she speaks to Ravik. Hello there. What is your name?

My name's Ravik but right now I need to hide you from wolver
He takes the medalleon and puts it into his pocket
ravik stands up and turns around
Wolver I'm just not finding anything I'm just gonna go back to the DFI
He tarts to walk back

Before you go, could you hand over the armband? Nothing against you, but I do not want to lose it again. He holds out his hand, waiting for Ravik to hand it over.

when did you lose it the first time?
He says trying to stall

A long time ago. He motions with his fingers, telling Ravik to bring it to him.

umm yeah sure one sec
he reaches for the armband and grimacing he whispers under his breath
now would be a great time to make it so I can't take you off

Ravik hears Shaydon's voice in his head. That I cannot do. Just let him have the armband. Palta is still with you. She may be able to help more. And with that, the armband comes off.

[Bergett]

Here ya go
He hands wolver the armand

He takes it and puts it on. There is a slight smile on his face. A slight gleam in his good eye. Then he turns back to his search.

Palta's voice is in Ravik's head. I feel you wish to talk in private. Hurry, then.

He leaves the beach for the DFI

Wolver stays to continue his search. For now.

Ah, the beach. The beach beach beach. Zeke strides powerfully to it, face chiseled into its permanent frown. For once, he stands and contemplates the ocean.
Why do I always wind up here....

There is a man not far from Zeke, searching for something. He is bald, with a large scar crossing his left eye. Said eye seems to be blind. He is carrying what would appear to be a custom made scythe.

Zeke observes the man for a time, then looks back at the ocean, then quickly back at the man.
Um....isnt it my duty to help people? no...its my duty to help people by killing evil stuff. Well are you doing anything better? No...
He shrugs uncomfortably and strides over to the man, Hey...you, guy! You look like you're in need of some help there....anything I can do?
