Jamie gets some too! But looks to be not quite as messy.

Quinn chuckles and grabs a napkin to help clean Rachel up as Jamie watches intently.

The angel baby gets cleaned up...but not before she tries to put her applesauce hand against Jamie's face! So that way Jamie will have to be cleamed up, too.

"You little messmaker!" Quinn laughs, going to clean them both up now!

Jamie, for her part, laughs happily and tries to wipe the applesauce off her face and lick it off her hand.

Rachel laughs also, and now she's cleaned finally. No more messes.

"What should I do with you two?" Quinn chuckles, then goes to check on Kristin.

Jamie, meanwhile, looks to be getting sleepy. And full!

Rachel just woke up, though...
She's pretty full.
...and not so sleepy. But she'll lie down.


Kristin is not asleep, either. In fact, she's still in the Infirmary (of course) and...is reading a book that she somehow got. Beast. is its name.

"Hey." Quinn smiles. "Interesting choice of reading. Jaws was better, though."


Jamie smiles a little sleepily and rolls over, cuddling her little fox close...aww...

Thanks, says the angel, looking at the cover, wondering what Jaws is.
(Beast is a romance, by the way. But you can't tell that by the cover).

Rachel lies down, staring at the black fox.

((Ah. I promptly thought of the Peter Benchley book by that title...))

Jamie notices and has it wiggle its nose at Rachel.


"Remind me to get the book for you. How are you feeling?" Quinn asks.

Rachel stares at it - then at Jamie, then back at the fox.
She figured out what happened.


I'm feeling well enough, she says, setting the book down.

((I've read another book called Beast (I think) and it was a romance. So...yeah. Different books.))

Jamie looks dissapointed at being caught in the act, and waves the fox at Rachel. "Rawr!"


"Good." Quinn will take a look over Kristin's wings to see if the feathers are growing back. "I can see about getting some quarters for you and your child, if you want?" Since Quinn doesn't know Rachel's name.

Rachel giggles, then covers her face at the sight of the fox.


That would be really nice. Thank you, she says meekly, and smilingly.
Her feathers are starting to grow back in. Not very much yet, but at least uniformly.

Jamie giggles as well, then drops the fox and tries to hug her friend!


Quinn notes that and smiles back. "Not a problem. We have plenty of room at the moment. Do you need anything to eat?"

Rachel removes her hands, and hugs her friend back.

No, but thanks, she says, shaking her head. I'm good.

"I know you are." Kristin probably doesn't catch the double meaning Quinn has in those words with relation to Toby's earlier doubts. "I'll go get your room ready for you."

Jamie smiles, letting go and yawning comically.

Wow. I didn't catch the double-meaning either until you just mentioned it.
Thanks. Kristin smiles.


Jamie's yawn makes Rachel yawn. She yawns too after letting go.

Quinn nods, and goes off to fix up a room in the main lodge for Kristin and Rachel.

Jamie giggles a little, then flops back...oh dear. Nap attack!

Kristin picks the book back up, and waits.


Meanwhile, Rachel got attacked by the nap monster too. She grows inexplicably tired.

Quinn returns after a few minutes smiling. "I've got a room all set up and ready for you."


Jamie: "zzzzzzzz"

Krista sets the book down, smiles, and says, "Thanks." She'd like to know where it's at, but she figures she'll find out when it's time.

Rachel also goes to sleep. Sleepytime.

Quinn fills it in by giving directions down the hallway to the room. "I set up the room for you, it has a crib and everything."

Thanks again. She smiles, and looks at Rachel's sleeping body. I'll probably let her sleep here this one time, though.

"I'll make sure she's safe." Quinn settles next to Toby, resting her head on his shoulder with a yawn. "Sleep well."

"You too," she says, smiling and getting up to go to the room.
Once there, she gets ready to go to bed, and also scratches her itchy wings. Growing in feathers is itchy buisiness.

D#m7+5 is in the infirmary, humming to his Ohrwurms, which scurry off, as invisible points flicking and darting through the air, disturbing the air around them.

"Off to learn more, later to teach more."

Then he materialises as Damien, and frowns at his wounds on his shoulder. They're bandaged, and so not bleeding as readily, but... They still haven't clotted.

Imagine him, but in his 40's. That's Damien. And D#m7+5 is invisible...

Tomris Nafisim walks out of the Main Lodge, and stands in the snow.

It's been warming up a bit, she can tell.


Also, in the infirmary, is the featherless angel and her child.

Quinn's in the infirmary, too, although she looks to be dozing.

Kristin decides to not wake Quinn, and go for a walk.

She leaves Rachel here, though.

She walks outside the infirmary.

Quinn snoozes.

She snores.


Jamie's snoozing too.


Tom the Junco is sitting outside the kitchen window, singing.

Kristin hears Tom. She decides to go see where the singing's coming from.

When she finds him, she stops walking, and listens.
