It is called 下駄箱 「Getabako」 - a box to put shoes in. We must change shoes to go inside school.

Makes sense; don't want anyone running off with your shoes. Didn't know that removing shoes applied to schools though, I just assumed that was for houses.

Recently though I have been very uninspired for both writing and drawing. It is the feeling of wanting to create new stories and characters, but having no ground.

I know what you mean. I've been in the same funk recently... but hey, turns out that forcing yourself to write is a great way to get over it. I know it's difficult, but trust me - to use the tired ol' cliche, it's always darkest before the dawn.

Today at lunch I was bored, so I drew something new-a chibi! It's of Yuuki Miyagawa, my 2nd Division captain candidate in the BleachITP Reborn. I'll colour him and post him when I get home...

I'll always fondly remember hearing the first song 10 years ago as the ending theme to a children's ghost story show despite it making little if any sense as such. It's really catchy if you listen to it a few times and the singer's little sway always gives me a smile and a chuckle. The second one is just all around great. I love the startling conclusion at the very end. I pretty much never listen to songs by male singers but these are exceptions.

This was just a dream I had, for BleachITPReborn, when the mortal world students have first found their powers, or are first having to fight a hollow.

Before this they were running, and ran into each other...that's when Sayaka appeared and has bought them just a little time before they must fight.

Or at last, it is such an idea.
It has all of the current students from the character registry.

I musn't draw everything at once I think. Some parts are irregular to others in such a piece.

ah, graduation from highschool. such a melancholic time. Actually, I also drew some very personal comics at that time, between the graduation from highschool and my acceptance at college...

I love how Sayaka has such a hardboiled expression on her face.
It looks as if she's going to use some stereotypical yakuza lines at any second. Possibly starting off with a "Temae..." or "Baka yarou..."
She's probably just supposed to look strained and serious but I'm getting a different sort of vibe because it reminds me of the classic tough guy stare. Even if it wasn't meant to look that way it's at least a great source of unintentional comedy.

Actually it is supposed to be Aki as the Quincy >_<

My description of Aki was rather lacking, and your portrayal of her is much more clear then my words make out to be.

I don't think Ken is included. I thought he was but then I noticed the guy with the sleeveless shirt had a sword which makes me think of Shades' character. It's fine with me though. I still liked how he was drawn anyway. To be fair, I changed him into a student a while ago but I didn't declare he would be one until a while after the Reborn discussion began. Plus there isn't much space in those boxes. The picture did remind me though that there are two sleeveless characters which I like since I had forgotten Shades'.

Hey guys...I was searching aimlessly on Youtube yesterday night and came across a song that I think would be a great themesong for our shinigami vs. arrancar arc. Perhaps it's just because I'm into that kind of music, but I saw a Bleach fan opening with the same song, and man was it awesome.

Please listen and tell me what you think!

That song is making me picture things. Like a shot of Hazuki and Yori sliding past opposite sides of the screen divided by a sword which reflects Tsukiha's image before cutting away.

Kasa-chan is so good at colouring things! If you don't mind me asking Kasa, what do you use to colour your pictures? I use pencil crayons and they don't work too well...perhaps I could buy what you've got so the quality of my artwork is a little better...
