Re: Neverending Dungeon - Turialiel
Alright, you try to leap, but instead make on of the saddest hops ever known to any race that can jump. You find yourself on something solid on B2, without anything visible holding you above the bottomless pit.
A wise monk trains both mind and body, but a smart monk is actually a swordsage.

Re: Neverending Dungeon - Turialiel
I test the air in front of me to see if it's solid, if is, I keep going the same way.
But then, when there's only another 5ft between me and the visible platform, I make a running start to the 5ft gap, and jump right into the door! Jump - (1d20+6)[19]

Re: Neverending Dungeon - Turialiel
Your pointless jump is a success. You are at the door!

Re: Neverending Dungeon - Turialiel
Initiative - (1d20+8)[13]
If I win init, I drop the sacks, move towards the junction drawing my large blade, then draw my medium blade.

Re: Neverending Dungeon - Turialiel
The thing charges you, trying to slam attack:
(1d20+6)[7]
(1d4)[2]+electricity - (1d4)[4]
In addition, he shocks you, dealing (1d4)[1] nonlethal electricity damage, fort DC12 for half.A wise monk trains both mind and body, but a smart monk is actually a swordsage.

Re: Neverending Dungeon - Turialiel
Is the shock only if his attack hits or regardless?
I attack with both my blades
Attack 1 - (1d20+5)[9]
Large - (2d6+2)[8]
Attack 2 - (1d20+6)[13]
Medium - (1d8+1)[5]

Re: Neverending Dungeon - Turialiel
Regardless.
I will point out that you didn't win initiative so you didn't draw your weapons yet.. Also you can't move forward because he is in front of you and you can't move past him (unless you tumble..)A wise monk trains both mind and body, but a smart monk is actually a swordsage.

Re: Neverending Dungeon - Turialiel
Oh right.
5ft step back, then draw both weapons. I don't think I'm going to make it...

Re: Neverending Dungeon - Turialiel
The cloud moves back 5ft and charges up, releasing a blast of thunder and lightning:
fort12halves - (1d6)[3] sonic
reflex12halves - (2d6)[11] electricity
And adds a little shock: (1d4)[1] fort12 halves.A wise monk trains both mind and body, but a smart monk is actually a swordsage.

Re: Neverending Dungeon - Turialiel
That has me dead.
This character was a nice concept, but I think I need to reconsider my choices and go back and start on the first level with a new character, sorry for wasting so much time.

Re: Neverending Dungeon - Turialiel
Nah, I still hate this floor so might as well practice DMing it.. You did die awfully fast though...
Starting with a new character first doesn't give you much advantage.. But good luck anyway..A wise monk trains both mind and body, but a smart monk is actually a swordsage.
