Natalie might find an angel-woman, with her little child who is just over 2 years old, in front of the infirmary, which is where she's staying at.

She has white wings, and is sitting on a log.

Indeed she does. "Hello miss. My name is Natalie, what's yours? Me and Dad just arrived; can you lead us to a member please? Do you like Mr. Huggs? Can you fly? Can I have a look at your baby?" The questions are coming quick and fast, yet if the angelic lady has any way to tell Natalie/Nephrim's smile is forced, and hiding a bottomless well of loathing. Natalie/Nephrim hides the hatred well, however.

"Well, I think that my name might be Kristin," she says, answering the questions one at a time. She doesn't know her name for certain, because she has memory loss ever since she fell and hit the ice. "I don't know where the members are at the moment. There might be some inside, but the ghost nurse likes to restrict access to the sick."

"Mister Huggs is very beautiful; Yes, I just relearnt how to fly, and yes, you can see Rachel."

Rachel's picking up some bugs at the moment. Bugs and rocks.

"Hello Rachel. Oooh, centipede." Natalie/Nephrim bends over and is now holding a small centipede which goes into her pocket. "Ghost nurse? Don't be ridiculous; ghosts don't exist. Dead people are dead and they don't come back. Do you not know your own name? How is that possible? Can you teach me to fly?" The last question is not truly serious; Natalie/Nephrim has been flying for about 5,000 years so has a lot of practice.

"Actually, this campsite is haunted. If you just look over there, you can see some of the ghosts." She points over to the left, to the forest, where there are some ghosts.

"I have a slight case of memory loss, and I don't think I could teach you. My daughter's better at flying than I am, and you don't have wings, either."

[Earl of Purple]

"Aww... I wanna fly! Oh, yeah. Guess dead people do come back sometimes after all. How did you get memory loss?" Each answer garners more questions. This is either a good thing or a bad thing, depending.

"I fell." She gives a hand motion, using a finger to show, 'falling from sky to ground'. "Then, I hit the ice..." She shivers. "And died, too. Luckily one of the nurses brought me back to life."

Rachel suddenly dumps a pile of dirt, bugs, and rocks on Kristin's lap. "Oh...thank you, Rachel."

The child goes off to collect more bugs, and Kristin dumps them off to the ground off her lap.

"I Fell once, because I listened to the wrong people. It didn't hurt, and since I Fell, I've had more fun." If Kristin knows anything about heavenly angels (I know Mizeri is a non-heavenly angel and see no reason why this one isn't too), and she has recognised Natalie/Nephrim's true nature as a demon then this sentance of backstory could be damning.

Kristin is indeed a Heavenly Angel...of a sort. Probably not the same as all the other ones, but she is like that. (I also have a True Fallen Angel character, but she gets very little playtime) You can tell by her white wings.

"You...what?" Kristin is thinking that maybe she heard wrong. But, no, she heard correctly. "Sorry, I didn't quite catch what you said."

But you're a bird. Bird's don't normally talk. At least, I've never heard one speak before.

Shania walks closer and leans against the cabin. What is your name? Mine is Shania.

The little birdy bounces for balance, only answering after a flutter or few. "My name is Shirley--I must admit I have never heard another flighty fellow speak like myself." She's also had trouble when trying to strike a conversation with the local sparrows. All they ever do is chirp about the berries--not that Shirley would understand, what with the giant language barrier and all.


I wonder what Shania was expecting from a bird in terms of sentient conversation when she said "hello" in a... probe-lematic sort of way.

"Somebody told me to go somewhere for a dare, and I tripped. I wasn't hurt, and because I carried out the dare they became my friends." Hurray for lying and false explanations!

((I have four demon characters and only 3 human ones, although one of the humans is now undead and another is a demon-worshipper; the third was Dam'Bul's original host))

((Wow, cool. I should really go through all my characters sometime, and list out their species.))

"Oh. Well, I'm glad you didn't get hurt, and made new friends," says the woman, smiling again. She supposes that she did hear wrong.

"Me too. Are there other winged ladies around? Do you have friends?" Because being a demon infiltrator, the number of celestials is always important. It may be construed as odd that the apparantly seven-year-old girl is asking questions without offering any information in turn.

"Well, there's some birds, but I don't think they count," says Kristin. "Yes, I do have some friends. There's Quinn, who's a paladin and champion for some goddess. There's also some others," but Quinn is really the only one she has met IC.

Somehow, she doesn't find it odd, because children always ask a whole lot of questions and have nothing to say for themselves; and that's why they ask the questions.

Rachel comes back to Kristin, and is picked up now because her hands and clothes are too dirty.

"What's a paladin?" Despite not apparantly knowing, Natalie/Nephrim's eyes widened when the words 'Quinn', 'paladin' and 'champion for some goddess' came up. As though Nephrim has heard them before, but Natalie hasn't (Nephrim being the 'actress' playing 'Natalie's' character in a play or film, if that makes sense).

((Quinn is the person who removed Dam'Bul from his host and put him in a glorified bottle))

"A paladin is like a...knight. A knight who protects people, so no need to be scared of something like that," says the angel who has no reason to suspect that the little girl is anything but that.

[Earl of Purple]

"Oh. OK. Well, I'm going to go look for my Daddy now. See you two later!" With that, the demon in girl's clothing (literally) skips off as I must, alas, Deadtime. Type to you tomorrow! Which starts in about 3 minutes.

"Okay. Goodbye," she says, waving to the Natalie as she skips off.

Garth shrugs. " Not exactly sure yet. " He says as a few more shavings fall to the ground.

Garth every now and then pushes the shaving off into the fire with is foot so as not to make a fire hazard. He also looks the carved up piece of wood every now and then.

So far it looks like a poorly made sphere.
