Reinholdt looks down at the ground. There was nothing he wanted to hear her... no. There was some things. Some things he craved desperately for her to say. But it would never happen. She would never apologize and say I love you. It wasn't in her. No... anything she had to say would only make things worse.

Daisuke, incidentally, has put the invitation to the Palace of Doors thing up, along with a note that all GLoG members who wish to go may.

He also looks for Val.

At some point, Happy will look at it, and if her player's health is okay when it occurs, she'll even go.

But for now she basks. Like her player would like to do, if she had sun, and a lounger chair, and a lake...

If Daisuke is going to talk to her about the presidency, this would probably be an opportune time.

Daisuke walks up next to her. Glad to see you've... recovered.

Does this mean you're ready to take up the presidency again, Happy?

Happy looks up and smiles at him. "I think you've been doing a fine job of it."

Daisuke seems unconvinced.

"And besides, I died in office. I think that entitles me to early retirement." She says this with a wry chuckle, but Daisuke may sense that there's a core of seriousness underneath.

Daisuke nods. That part, at least, I can't argue with.

All right. I'll need to get a Vice-President elected, then.

"I wonder if anyone will even put themselves forward. It's been so much quieter around here lately." Happy says.

Hopefully, we'll get someone.

"I did. I plan to attend, if I can." Meaning, if her player has the spoons that day.

Ah, yes. Spoons.

Daisuke's player is glad he doesn't have to deal with that. Instead, he just lacks social instinct.

Daisuke nods. I actually met the host the other day. Could have been under better circumstances.

"Yes, I caught the tail end of that. He was a bit nutso, wasn't he? Not that I have any room to talk." Happy has certainly had her share of temporary insanity episodes in the past.

Daisuke, for a moment, has his mask appear in his hand. He then looks at it, the dissipates it. Apparently, he was trying to control it- if he hadn't, it might have been a lot worse.

I talked to one of the other Exalted afterwards, and she said it happend to every Exalted she knows of, though the exact form varies. Apparently, she just feels a compulsion to mother everyone around.

Awww. You're all alone then? I'm usually alone too. I'm afraid of hurting the ones I care about. Shania frowns.

Do you eat... worms? she asks, instantly changing the subject.

That reasoning gave me a laugh.

If only a bird could blush. Shirley would have denied the accusation, regardless of it's truth, but before she could have such a chance, she was interrupted. With the question of worms, her first though is "bleck!", but she recalled seeing such actions in similar coloured birds. Finally, "No." She replied. "I like berries. They're sweet, and good for my feathers." And she hates squirming food, but that would make her seem weak. When a creature only has one leg to stand on, they must stand twice as strong--and deny everything.

Marley, seeing as no one is around, starts up the fire, and begins cooking a pizza.

Shania, and her player, just realized that Shirley is one-legged. Oh! You are such a pretty, pretty birdie. I was hoping you didn't like worms. she makes a yuckie face.

Shania reaches out with one hand to pet Shirley's head, cupping the other under her in an offer to hold her. I like berries, too. Especially blue berries and strawberries. I have some in my room. Would you like to share them?

Her very first instinct is to jump into the warm hands of a potentially dangerous individual whom could crush her with her MIND! Since that last bit is not known to Shirley, she followed that instinct. "I've never had strawberries before!" Like a little girl in front of the prettiest dress she ever saw, her eyes were bright with desire. "I saw a family once camp here--they had strawberries. They looked so scrumptious," and her eyes sadden, "but after seeing them shoo away other birds, I thought I would be treated the same." But that doesn't matter now! STRAWBERRY-AHOY!

So far, her instinct hasn't betrayed her. And hopefully won't.

Shania carries Shirley inside, past the seance, and into her own room. She carefully sets Shirley down on her bed, then goes to a small fridge.

As she looks inside for the berries, she asks. How'd you... lose your leg? She feels slightly embarrassed asking.

But the misconceptions that could result is worth trying out.
