According to Turtle it was indeed the source mod thing. He reloaded the server(I believe) and (should) have added us back as Admins. I'll be checking once I get home today if it is working and if the maps are loaded.

Check to make sure your download region isn't somewhere like Germany.

Great. I crash every time I try to play The Passing and apparently I don't have any DLC for L4D2.

Great. I think I'll need to reinstall it. That'll take all night.

The server appears to be back up from what I can tell based on the console log through gameservers. It tentatively looks like all maps were kept but all mods were lost. Apparently Metamod-Source and SourceMod are not compatible with the new version (yet).

Your admin accounts are still there and I reset the rcon password back to what it was. I'm not sure if I still have the Steam Group ID, so I might need to get that from Bryn again. I'll make sure to save it somewhere this time and I'll try to keep a backup of the server.cfg file in case it ever gets nuked again.

I've got a lot of house-work to do this weekend so I probably won't be on much. Bummer.

Fixed my dialogue problem, by taking all of my add-on maps and booting them to the desktop. I bet it's one of my L4D-on-L4D2 maps. Probably the same one that turned every van in the game black with a flame texture on the side.

Anyhoo.

Time for some Passing.

The strange lines are all signs of Valve's awesomeness. Chet asked a whole bunch of community mapmakers if they wanted any dialogue recorded for their projects when they had the voice actors in for Passing. So I imagine the snow lines are for all the snow campaigns that just came out, and the cart stuff is about the Badwater L4D2 map.
