Re: Bibliography
Who's to say he isn't really old?
Ink, going by that first guy, grants lots of power, speed, etc. It wouldn't seem to grant the finesse or control needed to chain spells like that.
Also, old CandleJack meme is old.If you want a OotS style Touhou avatar, send me a request.
Steam name: memnarch. Same avatar.

Re: Bibliography
As long as I've been on the forums, if you wanted to start up a new FFRP, you started it. They just recently started doing the thing where they ask you to fill out the little form to gauge interest and keep everything organized. Traditionally people do start out with a thread to rouse up interest and design the specifics of the world, but we've pretty much done that already, so we can jump right in. Besides, it's not very freeform if you need to get approved.

Re: Bibliography
Seems somewhat confusing. Also difficult given the general lack of knowledge about the codices and their spells.

Re: Bibliography
Well, you can make up spells that you think are cool, and use them, as long as they aren't godmodding or OP. As long as the number isn't taken of course.

Re: Bibliography
As long as you have a mythological base, I don't see why not. It is freeform afterall. Or rather, any sort of basis for the Codex, not necessarily mythological.

Re: Bibliography
Would Lovecraft count as a "mythological base"? Not for the completely mind breaking horror, but for the geometry warping abilities combine with an inhuman mindset. Otherwise I may need to look up some obscure myths to find something similar.

Re: Bibliography
Okay liked the new page but "Aura" as a measure of strength? Really? It doesn't fit well when you use it like that. You'd be better off just using "Power".

Re: Bibliography
Made up the Weird Codex for my character. Generally has to do with strange geometry, the feeling that something is wrong, difficult to relate to thought process, and some aberrant horror thrown in.
Haven't come up with names for any spells yet, but I shall.
Also, it the aura could fit if the spells are an extension of oneself. Also if it is the manipulation of ones aura to actually effect the world.
