The spell Jackie used just disables pages. Now that Raoul's a page it's just going to hurt instead of kill him.

So he's Candle James or James O'Lantern.
Except his name is Jacques, not James (or Jacob). Also the first part of his name is pronounced the same as Jack.

Not all Codices take something. It seems most grant weaknesses instead (like the lunar and their inability to touch silver).

Don't forget that they lose their powers in a new moon.
My guess for disadvantages: They get slightly weaker in the night (being borne of the sun and all) and become normal humans during a Solar eclipse (which is significantly rarer than new moon)

Actually they don't loose their powers, they just become weaker. The exact wording was "... their powers weaken the further it is to a full moon." As such, they would actually be at the half way point for power during a new moon, and weakest directly after a full moon.

Not really, The moon waxes and wanes. It's like filling a cup with water and then slowly pouring the water out, then filling it again. The highest power comes when it's full, and the least when it's empty.

Sparkly vampires are ridiculous, sparks have much better potential than just being there to make the pale guy emo.

Ah, but the Sparkly reveals that the Twilight Vampires have a weakness: Combined with their diamond hard skin, it reveals that their surface tissue is actually a living crystalline structure. As such, a sufficiently powerful sonic blast at the proper frequency would flay Twilight Vampires alive.

My theory on the minotaur sacrifice: Since this codex is tied to the sun, methinks the Cretan Pages would be weaker at night.

I already know how the moon works, but based on how it is described, their powers don't care. It isn't tied to the phases of the moon, it's tied to weather it is full or not. It might have been somewhat more obvious if it was how you said it is, but that isn't how it is described. As it is it seems more akin to their power slowly building up over the course of the month until it reaches its peak during the full moon. Then afterword it goes back to being low. This could be somewhat more in keeping with being the type of werewolf that changes with the moon though, as their curse also didn't care about the other phases, and if it was the day after the full moon ended, that meant that they had to wait the entire month before they became a werewolf again, as opposed to half a month if it were a new moon.

The description of Lunar codex powers being related to the moon was only, 'It's stronger closer to the full moon.' You cant make these kind of assumptions from a single sentence, all this speculation is almost baseless. It would also make sense either way, but we won't know until more is revealed about the Codex. There isn't enough data for a proper conclusion.
