HATS is fail. After our miserable assault on WATCHTOWER, I realized that the half of us not composed of superpowered buffoons or ineffectual intelligentsia is a bunch of lazy, cowardly traitors. I'm not even going to bother to berate them for their behaviour, I'll just never go back to the base or something and leave the apes scratching their heads.

So chances are, HATS isn't worth your time.

Wow. Okay. Guess I won't bother then. Maybe I'll just start a new villainous ACRO organization. One that'll really get stuff done. Since HATS is apparently made of fail, would you maybe be interested in such an organization, Magtok? I'm impressed by your record of villainy on these forums, and seeing how you've been roleplaying here a lot longer than I have, you'd be quite useful.

If anyone is interested in making such an organization, you'll have to wait a bit. First, I'm going to get together a legion of undead followers to serve as my personal army. Muahahahaha!

Does Requiem seem a little overpowered at the moment? I could get her in a fight against a cleric of a god of death again and have most of her power drained if she is.
Or something else similar to that, because doing the same thing twice is boring.

But yeah, villainous organizations are doomed to fail, as villains are a solitay lot by nature. Unless we can somehow persuade everyone to stop playing arrogant, megalomaniacal superpowered masterminds with undead hordes, and get them to start playing villains who actually need allies, and aren't just doin it for the 'lulz' because they are so far above you and you should be grateful they even deem you worthy of their time. And really, that's not going to happen.

I agree that a "villianous" organization simply doesn't work. Evil characters certainly work with other people in other organizations, but a group dedicated to "being evil" will simply fall apart.
Also, Wenomir's totally going to seek Magtok out and goad him about his attack being a complete failure.

Speaking of group villainy, if there are any low level villains who might want to ally with Winslow Warwick to help go after Magtok, let me know. The reward would be money or reciprocal assistance in their own goals.

Unfortunately, this wouldn't be on the level of soul-eating embodiment of evil type like Requim or the violinist or Murkas character, but more of the level of malevolent mischief. So it would only be open to characters who aren't overpowered and also those who wouldn't utterly horrify a somewhat normal family man who just happens to have an evil streak.

Actually, I think I've figured out why I go for kidnap plots all the time- there's a threat implied in it, but there's the possibility that the death of the victim isn't an aim of the villain.

...given I dislike killing off characters (mine or someone else's) unless their purpose is to, quite frankly, die, that's a good thing.
