She still feels broken, but finally telling him her secret made her feel better, in the same way throwing up can do. It's pretty dreadful when its happening, but afterwards, its a vast relief.

He gives her a wider smile and strokes her cheek before giving her a kiss. It felt good to be part of something again. Even in a relationship like this. It felt even batter to have everything in the open. "Good. Maybe later I'll even get around to cooking us something. Any requests?"

Charity considers for a moment before answering. "No. No, I don't think so." When he looks at her questioningly, she goes on. "You see, you making breakfast requires me moving. And that's just not happening any time soon. May as well make yourself comfortable."

That gets her a chuckle out of the Commander and he pulls her closer under the blanket. "No, I guess I can't get up. And I don't know anyone I'd rather be stuck under at the moment."

"Hm." She looks down at the scythe, thinking back to what uses scythes.

She's not any of them. "Thanks. Yes, you can have it back." The red-headed woman bends down, picking up the scythe in her left hand and the book in her right hand.

"Here ya go," she says, handing the magical book over.

"Hm." She looks down at the scythe, thinking back to what uses scythes.

She's not any of them. "Thanks. Yes, you can have it back." The red-headed woman bends down, picking up the scythe in her left hand and the book in her right hand.

"Here ya go," she says, handing the magical book over.

Empty Lot

Drifter takes the book back. "Thanks," he says. "I am sorry about any trouble it put you though, but it could have caused more trouble if it was not stopped."

He quickly pages through it. "Ok, spells there... a couple pieces of random information... monkey illusion spell... Ovoids... Dire Barn Owls... this image of you wan't in there before. I'd say the spellbook has learned about you so that it stands a better chance against you if you fight it again... I have nothing to give you in thanks but offering my services at some future date. If you need me, I'll be at my library. May fortune favor you, and I hope you have a quiet rest."

Drifter leaves the lot and heads towards his library.

A Zingatularian Saltwater MurderTrout, to be precise. The idea is that anyone who goes to all the trouble of catching one is either killed in the process, or so gods-damned insane and super-powerful it's best to just accept the fish and hope you never see them ever again.

Magtok then nods after a glance skywards.

Yeah, I suppose it is getting late. Should we go see what's holding up other you or just hole up in one of those caves from earlier?

"Is that why you didn't get it for them?" Elle asks curiously continuing down the shore as she talks, "It is. Ooh, could we stay in the caves? We could use like... um... vines and tied together bushes as a curtain-thing to seperate it from the outside? And it'd be a good start on your villian-cave-thing." More sage nodding!

Elly decides it'd probably be best to skip the sarcastic anwser to the machine and investigate how the building is looking. "But... wasn't us trying to figure out how to manage it ourselves the entire point?"

[Eden complex, building C, apartment 101]
The Eden complex is a series of modern apartment buildings, in the middle of Eden park, a large park in inside. the rooms are large, and have a room with a floor to ceiling window, a bedroom with smaller windows, a bath, and a kitchenette. the 4 appartment on the 10 floors also have a rooftop garden. after a 20 minute walk from trogs, Nayru and Evan should reach the entrance to building C "so..this is where I live"

The hut is very rustic. It is a single room with no floor, but a ladder leads to a bed loft so at least they won't have to sleep on the bare earth. There is no furniture yet, but there are sleeping bags in one of the crates.

Violet nods, and watches him leave. "'Bye. If I need a book, I'll head there," she promises.

Once he's gone, the woman leaves the empty house lot, to go back to her twin children and the amnesiac orphan girl who thinks that Vi is her mother as well.

Magtok smiles.

So...this would be the Bonus-Extra-Auxiliary-Coastal-Hideout MagCave? So does that mean-

Magtok abruptly stops mid-sentence, whips out a laser goose, and points at the sky with an icy glare intensely staring down at some non-existent enemy.

...Odd. Totally thought a random assailant was just going to use that moment to jump right out and attack or something.

Magtok awkwardly tucks the honking waterbird away. It's rare that an active-duty Magtok doesn't see some sort of violence or action that tries to interrupt mid-sentence, given his equal propensity for trouble and being verbose. This one apparently thought it was being awfully clever just a few moments ago. If only it had such foresight when the seagull had come by earlier.

Right...so err...yeah, a cave. Vines should work. Something sandy inside maybe, not so sure I could sleep on a rock.

"Or maybe Tertiary-Backup-Extra-Coastal-Marine-Study-Hidden-Lab-Magcave... thingie." She tries to think of more, but it's not as wordy, and there's really nothing else to add. And besides, he's busy being paranoid about the sky! "Uhm... Okay!" She ponders the sand and vines for a moment, seeing as they had plenty of both, but... "I don't mind sleeping on a rock. Or between rocks." She smiles prettily, and hops onto a stone to investigate the nearest little cavern.

"Oh. I guess that makes sense. In it's own mechanical way..." Well, inside isn't all that interesting, but maybe the crates contain better loot! "Are you sticking around, or just decided to drop by and build this for us?"

Magtok briefly looks away from her at the second mention of rocks and follows behind, trying his best to awkwardly wait for Elly's last sentence, and any odd feelings tied to it, to fade away from the conversation.

The thing I said spells out BEACH, by the way.

Magtok shuffles along, his mind clearly elsewhere and looking for some way to avoid any further mention of rocks or anything else innuendo-ish.

Elle, unfortunately, doesn't catch onto the awkward right away, and laughs as she hops down and into the rocky hole in the wall. "Oh. I get it... Sorry, I'm not great at the whole, er..." She frowns, trying to think of the right word, and covering up her concern about how he took that. Not even a little joke? "Acronym, yeah. Those."

Magtok sighs and shakes his head.

Okay, that's...Look, Elly, there's something I need to tell you. I'm not comfortable with innuendo, with the idea or even mention of...copulation and just about anything related to it. It's a phobia of sorts I guess, except phobias are by definition, irrational and not induced by others. You might've noticed something was up back when we were climbing that mountain, or all the hesitation and nervousness at other times as well.

I've...there's this whole long story about it that you probably don't want to hear, but the general gist of it is that something horrific happened a few years back, and if we just take things a tiny bit slower until I can put what she did behind me once and for all and such, everything should be fine. It shouldn't even be that long, I mean, there was a time I'd recoil in disgust at the very idea of kissing...

His own emotions continue to conspire against him, leading to stuttering and dodging eye contact throughout his explanation. It's quite clearly uncomfortable for Maggy to admit that anything could be wrong, much less anything this monumental, that his own mind regularly knifes him in the back with the memory of some horrific encounter.

Nayru returns, wearing an covering Yukata, and goes to the kitchenette to make them some tea "why don't you tell me a bit more about yourself ?"

Well... I started out hunting normal creatures with my dad when I was old enough, after that I started hunting the undead for awhile, I think that vampire family that I was charged with dealing with still isn't happy with me. I started normal sharpshooter's work a few miles outside of ACRO for an old general who eventually died of well... Old age as you may have guessed. I got to town a few days ago.

"Oh... Oh." Elle slowly tries to edge in closer as he talks, and wrap her arms around him protectively, "Shh, it's alright. I didn't mean anything..." And running a hand down his back, "You poor fellow... Come on, you'll be fine. The Great and Illustrious Magtok. The amazing villain extraordinaire. If you want we can put this on hold and get up to something evil or whatever. Want to hijack an airship and crash it into another? Or maybe blow up the moon?"

Elly on the other hand, is running a hand down her face and sighing unhappily into one of the crates, in the middle of trying to pull a sleeping bag out, "Damnit, Magtok..." She looks back up, at stares into the distance, presumably toward whereever Watchtower is, but probably not in actuality. "He really does die quite a bit... I thought he was going to take better care of... err. All of himselves."

"you bet it was....villages falling every day...whole continents gone....but meh.so, what about this vampire family?"

I killed most of it, but the only ones left were little kids and a dying adult. I couldn't finish them. I guess vampires can have babies or something like that, either that or the immortality doesn't kick in until they are fully grown.

Nayru sighs "look what you're doing. you're keeping check lists...do you feel anything at all when you end the life , or unlife of somebody?"

If was to be comepletely honest I would have to say I don't really feel anything much anymore.

He says, though he is looking down.

I used to... The deaths would tear me up. It was basically learn to deal with it or die because I hesitated.

Magtok takes a moment or two to reassert control over himself, immediately push this admittance and moment of weakness to the back of his mind, and clears his throat before responding.
