Potentially, no. Granted, I'm a fair role-player so I won't be pulling cheap tactics against other characters left and right, but I want to keep everyone guessing. That goes for the players too.

Is it truly random, or does it thematically draw off the person Kujo is fighting?

From what the description says, it's even more random than that.

You could be granted immortality.

You could dissolve into a pile of still-aware cancer cells.

You could be teleported five kilometers to the right. Or five nanometers. Or be turned upside down. Or your clothing could all suddenly turn into 'Hello Kitty' printed underwear. No, I do not watch that show. I am vaguely aware of what it is, and that is all.

Pretty much this. As soon as we quantify it, even if it isn't a complete list, it sort of breaks the illusion of pure unpredictability. Ideally, I'd like to never use the same effect twice throughout the entire game, but I highly doubt I have the creativity for that. We'll have to see, though.

I think, really, that the beginning of the plot should be Relationship Establishment. The Shinigami should be roleplaying with the members of their squad and other members of Sereitei and developing relationships, the Arrancar should be roleplaying with each other or other hollows and developing relationships, and the Mortal Worlders should do the same. There's no point in forcing story if we don't have characters doing things with each other. Once we have some relationships at least established, then let's start inserting plot. Some people probably don't have characters completely established, and some people may need to roleplay for a day or a week with a character before they feel ready to have them start doing extraordinary things. Just a me personally thing, though.

Here's a random Sereitei plot suggestion, if we want plot everywhere. Note that this is without any input from anyone else, I just came up with it.

Someone breaks out of Maggot's Nest/Prison/Whatever. There is a Captain's meeting to discuss it. He/She gets captured and taken back in. At the rate at which we post, it's highly possible this will take enough time for the Mortal World to get established, and this is probably something that might happen, even with 3rd Division the way I've designed it. After all, they have riots at Maggot's Nest all the time.

Also, I was going to make a Grand Fisher-style Hollow myself. If Frozen_Feet wants to do it that's cool too. In fact, why don't we make 2? I mean, Ichigo and friends fight at least 3 "intelligent" hollows before Gotei 13 finds him.

She'd probably become the girlfriend of... well, I'm not sure. Not one of the bullies, for sure. Not a delinquent, but if someone just had trouble in school, she'd probably help them. And they'd have to treat her with respect.

Apart from that... not sure. But you don't have to make a character just for the purposes of being her boyfriend, you know.

Well, I would have suggested that she have a relationship with Kina, but then I remembered that such relationships are not as commonplace as they seem to be for me. I sometimes forget something like that is a serious issue.

Also, I have a few questions for anyone considering Quincy characters:

1. Who would be an ideal teacher for Kina to eventually meet?
2. What do you think happens if someone attempts to fire an incompletely formed Quincy shot?
3. How long, approximately, do you think it would take for someone to go from bow fail to combat-capable?

As far an incomplete bow... I'd say it would have a fair chance of exploding. Like a bow in real life.

How long? Depends on how long and hard you train. Maybe a week or two, if you really worked on it. Or, this being a Shounen Game, the moment you need, and Kina wants it enough.

We can always have a little Les Yay go on if we really want to go that route. I have a feeling that Kina is going to end up emotionally attached to Ken, though. But she'll definitely have some sort of friendship-type thing with Izumi eventually, as they go to the same school and can both see Hollows. I have to imagine that sort of thing bonds people together.
