Well, murder isn't always the right answer, so perhaps you should mutilate one of their corpses and see if you can't improve your relations?

Ew, I hope not, that's one of the worst Genre's available. It's only any good for providing comic relief to other Spy's.

Personally , I'd be hoping for Able Assassin , but Intrepid Investigator, Combat Commando (More for the weapon proficiencies than anything else), or Illusive Infiltrator could work too.


Of course, i we were Really Really lucky, we might unlock the Cunning Conspirator. A well played Cunning Conspirator can turn the tide of the game.

Are you sure Glorious Gladiator is even a Spy Genre? I could swear it was only for the Hero (An unlockable class, and one of the few other Genre-based classes).

Also, Debonair Diplomat could be very useful, but I don't see how we'd unlock that yet (Assuming Unlocks arn't random. GenCo won't tell us how Genre Unlocks work).

P.S.: Make sure not to somehow cut a door that takes you back in time to when you were a "Level 1" character. You can never be too careful with these weird chaos zones.

Hmm. Right. I forgot it was the tag-team synergy that unlocked that. D*** it! Without a Hero player on our team, we'll never get Devious dreamer!

The fan made wiki, Genipedia, has a few estimated equations on it, which provide 70% accurate outcomes as to what's unlocked when. Really, with being stealthed 40% of the time, getting more kills than the other players, having about 6 times the kills of the one, and a double digit on the multiplier for the other, manages to narrow it down to only 12 genres for the third level. considering we've got a three-man team, that eliminates 2 of them, and one of them's a mechanic, leaving us with only 8 availible.

Based on the wiki's calculator functions, we could have:

Able Assasin: 5% (dammit! Such. Bad. Odds)
Debonair Diplomat: 10%
Inept Informer: 10%
Nightly Knifer: 10% (One of the worst genres ever. Hope we don't get it, because it's based off of environmental conditions, and has some NASTY behaivorial requirements)
Energetic Escapist: 10%
Intrepid Investigator: 15%
Illusive infiltrator: 20%
Hidden Healer: 20%

but, the wiki's fallible, bieng composed of player-made estimates and guesswork. 70% reliability is nice, but easy to screw up. And it's certainly not Genco's original calculator.

i think you are all forgetting the obvious Egomaniacal Exile. i mean that +5 to Ego didn’t come out of nowhere did it? And to be fair it we ARE in some kind of "exiled" scenario were its just us in a completely non-hostile environment. all those minutes DAYS alone must have driven our character mad! She sees herself as a god(ess) among (wo)men bugs i tellz ya! YOU DONT KNOW WHAT IT WAS LIKE FOR HER!!!

there are now 24 genres we could have. I have no idea which one we might have got.

Are you sure that half of these even exist? Remember, Genco is more then happy to send out people to falsify data, make claims of genres that don't exist, etc. I'm not to trusting of these guides. Besides there are rumors that the genre grid's values are not set until the moment you check - In which case, the probabilities may be based entirely on your current situation.

In light of this, I suggest:
