I would never believe you to be a troll, you just have a particular sense of humor like one of my good friends. Sure we have differing opinions, but I know a fair bit of it is in jest and I enjoy running with it as well. Heck I count our verbal sparring as some of my fonder memories of this group. So despite being your biggest critic, I decry any calls that Dogmantra is by any means a troll.

Im not sure what drove me to do it. I just felt like it. I already vaguely regret it as well.

Anyhow, I just crafted away everything in my backpack. Ok, I kept my ubersaw, jarate and capping gear for my soldier, but other than that, all my weapons.

In exchange I got a scout tossle cap.

Of course, i couldnt be happy there...

Once again, i crafted 2 hats into one and got a soldier stash.

One good hat has cost me, in total 4 average hats (engi cap, jarate masters belt, medics mirror and the scout cap). I hate valve and their stupid "Delayed gratification policy"

I, on the other hand, crafted a hat and a lack-of-hat and got 3 hats.

Yeah that's certainly bad. Want to know what's worse. Shooting the gnome forwards and it getting stuck on top of the damn helicopter.
That helicopter had no appreciation of the fact that I was trying to deliver a gnome.

Had an awesome duel with a Scout on Well.

We were in the center building, all alone, dancing around each other and firing off our scatterguns. I start running out of ammo, and retreat a bit, though still keeping him in line of sight. As I reload, fire, reload, fire, I stop firing long enough to just watch as the periodic resident of the building, the train, sideswipes him as he's not looking. BAM.

Of course, the blaring horn of the train managed to mask the sound of the other train. BAM.

Two Scouts lying dead on the ground as the result of a one-on-one duel, and neither one managed to kill the other. It was glorious.

Ok, I didn't express myself properly. I suppose I'm used to the unpopular opinion just not being voiced. I normally just keep quiet in situations like these if I'm the unpopular opinion. I'll only really speak up if I feel ridiculousy strongly on the point of if I feel like riling someone up (yes, I troll. That's why I don't post that much on these forums anymore).

I'm just confused as to how you have such an opinion with such a huge amount of evidence to support the opposition. I suppose our ways of thinking are just different. Sorry for calling you a troll >:

I'm really unsure, I think I'm just as inconsistant in my competance as before.

Big fat smelly russians are alot more of a pain, but I blame that more on their buff.

But I love easy to light huntsmen, and sapper-removing homewrecker, and I love minicrit reflections, oh god yes I love those.

No you're not , I was a airblast pyro/not m1 spam before the patch and it has just improved my skill.

To be honest, the numbers don't concern me as much as the seeming fact that setting people on fire is the pyro's least viable technique.

Well, okay, maybe more viable than melee-only or tauntkill pyro, but you get my point. It isn't enough for the pyro to be the only class that sets people on fire - they should be good at setting people on fire.

Either that, or rename the class 'oxygenator', make airblast the primary fire and have his compressed air tanks explode violently on death.

I have been playing pyro far before his/her original update, and I enjoy playing the hit-and-run harassment pyro. No I don't want to just be the engineers bitch and the sticky-mine mover. No I don't want to extinguish your fire. That is the OPPOSITE of what I want to do to fire!

Also, I am a little curious at this point in time. If they were to give back the backburners +50 health, who here would say that the leafblower still trumps it?

edit: I'm interested because at the time of the update, the backburner needing to be nerfed seemed like the general consensus. Nearly everyone wanted valve to "fix it".

But now that people have gotten used to the leafblower and its many uses, most would argue that the backburner at its current state is not worthwhile.

Wondering if valve got it right the first time, or if the various other class updates just made them right.

No. You can actually kill Gunboats soldiers with their own reflects now. It's helpful.

Played a few rounds of Last Gnome on Earth. That is, I played the first stage of Dark Carnival three times.

One time we died after I tried, unsuccessfully, to open the safe room door and hop in before the tank following me got inside. It went badly. The guy with the gnome who was already inside agreed.

The other two times? The gnome fell through the ground. We just sat there crying.
