Re: Pirates V The WW Game. Setting Sail!
I'd still like a Llama ruling on whether or not we find who was seer/fool when the second one is killed. It matters.
I'm willing to go with a third party until I get that ruling.

Re: Pirates V The WW Game. Setting Sail!
Let me check the archives, Reinholdt, and I'll get back to you. I'll see what we did in previous games.
In the meantime, I know that today is taking longer than it should, but in the States this weekend is a holiday weekend and many folks are traveling/busier than usual. I'm going to extend the day until tomorrow night to insure that everyone has a chance to participate. The day will end tomorrow night, though, barring any unforseen emergencies.inner circle Legionary of Resiliance

*lounging on the sundeck Ranna pulls up her sunglasses and looks about at the chaos*
You know, I'd liken this situation to a BBQ, a piece of chicken on a BBQ too hot will chargrill and burn on the outside, but still be pink on the inside. I don't want to eat no pink chicken as it might kill me so I would always check the chicken.
We should check the chicken before we kill anyone.
Murskamaybe we should check before we kill...
Hmm but then, I don't want to be seen following a sheep.. why don't we check with someone who isn't claiming to be the baner? Unless another baner wants to jump in and spoil the soup??
Anywho maybe the man with a horse fetish has a point, The Fiery Tower, clearly you went the wrong way on that wagon!*runs off and hides*

Re: Pirates V The WW Game. Setting Sail!
As the cruise ship sails onward towards the setting sun, people mill about nervously. The recent pirate attacks have many people on edge.
“Look, maybe we should have some pie…that’ll cheer everyone up.” Says a voice in the crowd.
“Cheer everyone up? We have bigger things to worry about than everyone feeling upbeat! There are pirates abound. And honestly, that big flaming eye picture is creeping me out. I say we toss it overboard.” A frantic voice squeaks out.
“But I’m hungry, and that pie sounds tasty.” Many people nod, and lick their lips in anticipation of pie.
“No, that guy has a point, that picture is really creepy. The eye just follows you everywhere you go! Let’s get rid of it.” Another voice yells to be heard over the growing murmurs of the crowd.
“WAIT…WAIT…WAIT!!” A voice rings out over all the arguing. “How long has that thing been on fire?”
The crowd turns to see a large silo-shaped building near the back of the ship, completely engulfed in flames. Immediatelly everyone runs towards danger...naturally.
“We have to push it overboard before it sets the rest of the ship on fire. And I'm not an assassin!!”
As the crowd arrives at the flaming tower, they quickly puzzle over who’s going to push the thing overboard. It’s then the tower turns and addresses the crowd.
“Uh…hey guys, what was all that fighting about? I could hear you from over here.”
“Well, there was a pie, and a creepy eye, and…well…look that’s really not important right now. You’re on fire.”
“Yeah. Pretty cool, eh?”
“Sure, sure. It’s just, this boat is kinda on the flammable side…”
“Oh…I see. Yeah, I get that a lot.”
“It’s not you, it’s just we’d rather not die in a fireball.”
“No, no…I get it. I’ll just be on my way then.”
And with that The Fiery Tower jumps overboard, sinking to the depths of the ocean.
The Fiery Tower was lynched. It was a fire hazard, and a passenger. Night will last approximately 24 hours unless something goes wrong, but Indy does have Life on Mars tomorrow night, so we'll see. Please send all night actions to Alarra, Indurain, and Atreyu.

This is gonna be interesting.
(Narrator Note: I checked the previous Pirates games and we kept the identity of the seer/fool ambiguous on death. Well, maybe we didn't in Pirates IV, but we did in II and III. I didn't check IV. It doesn't really count, anyway. Ooooh so which game should we pay tribute to tonight, or should I just go original? )
Late at night, one pirate slinks around the ship, looking for his victim. As he rounds the corner, he sees a paladin standing before him, wearing full plate and brandishing a huge sword. Its Mordokai! The pirate draws his cutlass and the two engage in an epic battle. After an hour, the pirate is bloody from cuts over his body, while the Paladin stands tall, his armor barely scratched. In desperation, the pirate pulls a rabbit wearing a hat out of his hat. He tosses the not so bare headed bunny at Mordokai, but the paladin is unfazed. The pirate curses. He was sure that rabbits were Mordokai's weakness. As Mordokai advances, his sword raised, the pirates pulls out his cell phone and blasts out a ringtone of Cristo Meyers singing Discovery Channel theme songs. Mordokai stumbles back, but soon regains his composure. Finally, the pirate remembers the advice of El Jaspero. Always, always have a banjo ready. Pirate grabs his banjo and throws it at Mordokai. The paladin falls, because Banjo always makes Mordokai fall. The helmet comes off the full plate armor revealing the face of Blue Ghost! His true enemy revealed, the pirate scrambles through his backpack to find a power pellet. He eats it and morphs into a large yellow circlish creature.
Blue Ghost growls and screams. Did you expect me to change colors?? I'm already blue! I'm not even a ghost!
Blue Ghost grabs his sword and charges at the pac-pirate. Sadly, he has forgotten that Pac-Man eats just about anything, including the sword and then the ship's protector.
Blue Ghost was eaten by Pac-Pirate. He was Mordokai, the Baner, who had been hired to protect the ship from Pirates. Day begins and will end in approximately 48 hours, hopefully.inner circle Legionary of Resiliance

Yes, blue ghost did message me, and I scried him last night.
Allow me to get one chance to say: I TOLD YOU SO! Because I don't think I'll be around when the night comes.
Murska. Congratulations though on leading us all on. I was beginning to doubt myself by the end.Last edited by Castaras; 2010-06-03 at 05:26 AM.

Whoops! Well, actually I'm a Mason, guys. I was just covering for Blue Ghost, trying to get the wolves to target Cas who was protected.

Re: Pirates V The WW Game. Setting Sail!
Well, this seems pretty clear cut. But if I can just find a decent youtube video, I can provide some additional 'evidence':
To the tune of Oh Better Far to Live and Die - Murska and Chorus
Oh, better far to cheat and lie,
With a silver tongue and a flame-wreathed eye,
Than try to honestly turn away
The lynch mob every other day...
For the Constant founded in my youth,
Will never yield if I tell the truth,
But I’ve a gift, of this I sing,
I’ll ever be a Liars’ King!
Oh, I am a Liars’ King...
And it is, it is a fearful thing to be a Liars’ King!
Oh, I am a Liars’ King!
You are! Let’s lynch the Liars’ King!
And it is a most enjoyable thing to be a Liars’ King!
It is! Let’s lynch the Liars’ King,
Let’s lynch the Liars’ King!
This game of death so well I play,
I killed the baner yesterday,
I never live too long, it’s true,
But a deal of damage I always do!
For many a power role I’ve found,
Thinking they are safe and sound,
I make them put their trust in me,
And then they die, while I go free!
For, I am a Liars’ King...
So, by his own admittance, however well sung it may have been, Murska is a liar and a pirate!"'But there's still such a lot to be done...'
YES. THERE ALWAYS IS."
