As far as I am aware, the leader has the standard medium size movement of 6. If I made a mistake earlier, my bad. And the idea is, you're fighting at night in the middle of a raging storm. Saying visibility is poor is an understatement. I didn't fiddle with light and line of sight and such within the battle because, well, I didn't want to. But as it stands, realistically, your line of sight probably extends 4 or 5 squares at the most.

    Kraagor

With the leader and the other gnolls gone, Kraagor sniffs around the darkened square for any other sign of a fight. Not finding anything, he simply howls loudly in the tempest. This lack of action allows the Druid to regain some of his senses and notice the spirit leaking out of the fallen compatriot nearby. Shifting back into his normal Dwarf-state, he moves over to Bortos and starts ripping the man's clothing apart and using it to apply some pressure to keep his blood in.

Lukas, quickly go after the gnoll leader, trying not to let him distance him.

Move : Move northwest after Gnoll leader (5 squares)

Since we both were on the same row, and that he moved 8 square, the gnoll should be 4 squares away/in front of Lukas (assuming he have gone always northwest).

If passive perception not enough in the conditions (also, remember that there is a 20 light radius glowing sword (Bortos sword) 4 square away from Lukas (8 from the leader) - I am sure the strom do reduce its efficency, just not sure how much, which is your call, but hey, every little bit counts! ;)), here is the active perception.
Minor :Look for the Gnoll leader : (1D20+3)[8]

Only if Lukas cannot spot him (He will keep this option for later if he do spot the leader on his own), Lukas will call out loud,
"Halfling, if you want help, yell so I find you!"

My turn isnt done, I need to now what I see (or hear if he have to resort to yell for Reed - and if Reed do reply.)

Okay, I'm gonna be nice to you today. The gnoll leader ran Northwest. You chose to run due north. Perhaps a reconsideration is in order?

You don't spot much of anything with that kind of roll. And I'll say, with the storm, you have bright light for 3 squares, dim light for another 2 after that, and beyond that, no line of sight.

Bortos, you're fine. My rule on stabilizing after combat is that, barring special conditions, it just works. You can each make 3 checks per turn...you're not in a dangerous/stressful situation, (besides the patient itself) plus it's not the best way to die, bleeding out after the fight. So you guys can go ahead and take a short rest if you want.

Overhead, the storm starts to break up, and you can finally see more than a few feet. And what you see, or rather what you don't, horrifies you. The civilians are gone. All of them. Not a single survivor or even a corpse remains behind to show what happened scant few minutes ago. The only trace that there were other people here at all is countless footprints of gnolls, wolves, and men churned up in the mud. In a single night, Mittegarve has been transformed into a ghost town.

Surveying his new ally, Lukas comments, "Are you OK to travel? It looks like you took quite the beating."

Only half listening to the reply, Lukas begins to take stock of his resources. I'm sure these villagers won't mind if we help ourselves to some supplies and equipment. Especially, if we use it to save them. That is, if there's anyone left to save. Can't get paid if there's no one left.

Hahaha, Dekkah, you filthy scavenger you. :D

On the gnolls' bodies you find surprisingly little. They wore few clothes, and you wouldn't want them anyway. As for gear, the carried only spears, nets, and a backup dagger much like the leader used for Reed, though less ornate. At their belts are pouches filled with the vile sludge you saw being applied to your fallen comrades.

Hero: The town is fairly large. (population 1500-ish) Therefore, you could find any of the facilities you mentioned. In addition, if you *completely* lack morals, you might be able to scrounge up some magic items in the more expensive shops.

At the edge of the Annulus, you see a man wandering around in confusion. When he sees you, he approaches. He gulps as he gets close, obviously cowed by your arms and armor. "E-excuse me sirs? Can you tell me what happened here? I was at the Festival with e-everyone else, but I went home when it started to rain. Now I c-came to see where every...everyone is, since the storm stopped...and they're all gone..."

And now you say...now you say they were taken by monsters..Pelor preserve us...they have my wife and children..." The man's eyes light up suddenly. "You! You're going to save them! You have to save my family! Please, sir, I'm begging you, and at this point he begins to cry, "these wolfmen, they have my little girl! You have to get her back!" At this point the man is unable to project his thoughts coherently anymore, and he sobs uncontrollably.

And yes, Hero, to the best of your knowledge, almost everyone has been abducted.

Nearly a collapsed heap from the fight, Kraagor spends the moments directly after the storm passed catching his breath and trying to come to terms with what happened. Bortos
    Shruging at Lukas,
" Of course I have seen in the last battle that your a front liner, probably a fighter by the way you weild your sword. Our new friend here is a druid, that is quite easy to guess as well. But, we never know what people are capable of. As a warden, I was trained to use the nature forces to protect others, but during my travels, I also learned a few other tricks. I've teamed up with a barbarian a while back who taught me to forcus some of my agressivity and let it loose on my enemies."

Bortos and Lukas: As I've said, scant little is known about the gnolls. In fact, you've never heard of them outisde their own lands-- they're blocked off from the rest of the world by massive, frigid mountains, and the sprawling Fort Harrows blocks the only known pass through.

You reach the mercantile district. Anything in particular you're looking for or will general looting do?

There are stables where you could find three mundane mounts easily.

A quick rummage through an alchemist's store turns up five healing potions.

At a fancy, expensive outfitter you are able to find a shining amulet marked "Dhurke Harr's Amulet of Mournful Speech."

In the back room of Emburg's Lacerators (Your one stop shop for all your murder needs) you find a well-polished and finely crafted longsword, marked "The Master's Blade." It beats the personal stamp of Emburg, the Lacerator himself.

Finally, you locate a craghammer in a small weapon shop that just...feels sturdy.

    Lukas

Lukas surveys the haul. The sword catches his eye and he gives it a few test swings. "Oohh. I like the way this feels. I think I'll use this one." He also selects a couple of healing potions and adds them to his bag.

Settling his gear on his back for the ride, mounts his horse, and asks, "Which way? I want a chance to test out this new sword!"
