Well you could implant your soul into a story book. Or you could click your heels three times and say "there's no place like fictionland," three times?

Warranty expired a couple billion years ago.
In entirely related news, I've plugged Sarah Brightman into Pandora. The results are almost embarrassingly funky.
I have the nagging feeling that I'm supposed to be liking this music ironically. And except for that last part, this does seem to be the case.Last edited by Rutskarn; 2010-05-03 at 12:45 AM.

Sorry, its a quote from some where and I had been looking for an opportunity to use it!

Re: Deth Muncher's Destructive and Meandering Random Banter #141
So, I've been reading those ban-bait topics, waiting for the hammer to fall.
I feel like I've set up a folding chair and a cooler of beer and sat down next to a car accident. Also, the driver is drunk, drove into a pole, and is now trying to take a swing at a police officer, and I just know the guys gonna get tased and it's gonna be hilarious.

Re: Deth Muncher's Destructive and Meandering Random Banter #141
Huh. You're right--it IS just like "Cops"! Needs more gunslinger-y theme music, though.
Also just spent time watching other people do work. . .well, not people, but a tiny, curly-legged spider which moved in along with the pots of chives. It is far from being the only critter to catch a lift, which is why I was so pleased to see it capture one of the carrot flies and package it up in silk. The spider itself is about as large as a carrot fly in the body, and these miniatures were backlit by a sun so strong they seemed translucent. I do love watching predation in action. There's a sense of communal action, like singers performing the same music, which the solitary munching of a herbivore misses. Now if I can just add another melody and capture a wild ladybug to feast on the aphids, which are on their second indoor generation. . .

Re: Deth Muncher's Destructive and Meandering Random Banter #141
Our house is almost literary flooded with silverfish, which is kind of gross, but we do have some allies living together with us too: wolf spiders. They are really cool, but I haven't seen anyone catch a silverfish yet (they remain hidden during daytime, so I won't see them especially often). My dad even has a workmate who supplies him with new spiders whenever he finds one in his own house.

Re: Deth Muncher's Destructive and Meandering Random Banter #141
I just found out what I look like with my goatee twisted into two little bits, a la Marco from Nightwish. Not bad, is the verdict. Which is good, because generally it looks too...whispy. Because it naturally parts and doesn't grow as long in the middle (slight chin-dimple. Thumbrint style, not pin-hole style.) so it doesn't look as thick as it is. May buy some wax or something and do this permanently...

I'm considering an attempt at the goatee-sideburns-mustache look myself. I think I could pull it off if I learn proper grooming techniques.
Also, every time I see that avatar, I go "Daaaaww!" But not just because it's adorable.

Got my wisdom teeth out today. Can't feel my bottom lip. The back right side of my mouth is in ridiculous pain. Painkillers aren't working too well, I think I can take more vicodin in a few hours.
Just came in to complain. I'll leave now.

I hated the pain meds they gave me when I got mine removed, I could barely move around and actually went temporarily blind the one time I got out of bed while on them. But I hope you feel better.

Re: Deth Muncher's Destructive and Meandering Random Banter #141
Dear Banterants,
If you're anything like me, you live like a harem woman and wake up just in time for lunch. And when you do, the best possible meal is Lego.
Quincunx: Watching a spider feed is music. This is not to be doubted. If you have success against your aphids, do you suppose you could extrapolate a remedy for the mealybugs that are sucking the life juice out of one of my grapefruit trees?
Teddy: Even catching silverfish and tossing them in a large spider's web, the spider won't eat them. I don't think they're tasty. Centipedes, however, are their natural predator, did you know? - and both are otherwise harmless in the house ecosystem.

Hooray! I just got my web page design project switched from the watercar to webcomics! Time to do work by reading OotS, Dr. McNinja, and Girl Genius in class for "research."
A handful of true friends, an infinite supply of sodas, a collection of bad movies, and a full supply of webcomics are all one really needs to be happy.
