Shadow of Fire--A Webcomic
Fellow playgrounders, Maximum Zersk and Sahaar are proud to present:
The Shadow of Fire Webcomic!
A tale of two brave warriors who dare to take on a powerful Empire by themselves. Presented in OOTS-style format.
Thanks to Maximum Zersk for the art. Written by me.
Book 1

78% of DM's started their first campaign in a tavern. If you're one of the 22% that didn't, copy and paste this into your signature.
Where did you start yours?
I started mine with my party investigating a disturbance at a ruined temple of the gods.

Re: Shadow of Fire--A Webcomic
...they banned fire, hm? Guess they're that evil.
(Odd transition from panel 1 to panel 2. "Yeah everything's going well. Oh wait, now it doesn't.")

Re: Shadow of Fire--A Webcomic
Blame ZerskI take responsibilty for that. Oh, well. We're working on the next strips now, I promise they'll be at least slightly more interesting than the first one.78% of DM's started their first campaign in a tavern. If you're one of the 22% that didn't, copy and paste this into your signature.

Re: Shadow of Fire--A Webcomic
I think an empire that banned both magic and fire would be a pretty quickly self-correcting problem.
"I don't know why, but we keep losing to that small kingdom."
"You mean the one that has the metal armor and weapons, and cooked food, and magic?"
"Yeah, that one. I don't get it."

Re: Shadow of Fire--A Webcomic
Damn it, Sahaar. I was watching the Fancomic Sub-forum, waiting for you to put it up. And then you put it up here.
Yeah, I'm thinking about the fire thing. I sent him something about a whole bunch of things in the comic, so we'll see.

Re: Shadow of Fire--A Webcomic
If it's OotS style, shouldn't it be in Fancomics?

Re: Shadow of Fire--A Webcomic
If it isn't hosted anywhere else, it should be in Fancomics.
And don't mind the soldier in panel three holding the sword in a wierd way. He's actually a lumberjack.

But link it in a way that doesn't contain a "&posted=1#post8643992" in the URL.

"The path says to go through here" ...? The paper/parchment mayhaps?
So... yeah, at least the names are descriptive, that's always a good thing, right?

Re: Shadow of Fire--A Webcomic
I think so, yes. But is it actually a fancomic because it uses stick-type art?
Personally i'd rather have it stay here, so i can keep an eye on it. (i don't check the fancomic forum) >_>Last edited by Domochevsky; 2010-08-01 at 08:22 AM.

Re: Shadow of Fire--A Webcomic
Well, basically any comic that's hosted one the website needs to be in the fancomics section. We could keep it here, but we'd need to host it off-site. I could do that, but I'd need to see if Sahaar's okay with that.

Why thank you.
I'm going to try to fix the blur problem. Don't know why it's doing that.

Re: Shadow of Fire--A Webcomic
And there goes the fourth wall. It's almost like it's a thing on this website.
I like the writing. And the art."What can change the nature of a man?"
