Well, I bit the bullet and wrote up a second character. Firstly, because having so many divergent plot clones of The Moff is confusing, and secondly, because having a character who's defining characteristic is luck makes godmodding way to easy.

I'm a little worried that you might use his backpack as a "I have a solution for everything you throw at me" button or an excuse to steal the spotlight with his amazing super-competent powers of awesomesauce, though. Nothing needs or should be changed, so long as you're careful not to let him become a sort of *cringes because he really hates using such a harsh phrase on such a promising newcomer* Gary/Marty Sue.

Murkus: Why it is, however did you guess? Well, it's how she's appearing in the Black Wounds thread, anyway. She usually has more conservative clothing on under the coat. The jumpsuit is purely for freedom of movement during combat. >.>

Fun fact (for those who haven't been around for more than a year)! Original!KR was built more like, say... Power Girl. Really tall, broad shouldered and unusually large... muscles. Yep, muscles. The first few KR fights had her fighting more like a Terminator: lots of standing around and gunning eveything down with absurdly heavy weaponry. More recently however, she's gotten more acrobatic and started using lighter weapons (well, if her Ford Blaster Pistol can be called 'light') so now my mental image of her is a foot shorter and built like a gymnast. Or a dancer maybe. A dancer with a handgun bigger than her head.

On a seperate note, does anyone perhaps remember a thread called War Island? Before I started posting, I lurked around a bit and saw some of the older Acro and Town threads, and I noticed one where various Acronyms fought over the resources on this big island. Or something like that.

If anyone does remember, or even if not, would you be interested in doing another thread like that?

War Island was fun and silly. Possibly too silly for the way the Nexus is now, unless it was done as a non-canon thing. I can't be sure I'd have the energy to participate if it started back up, but I might!

Perhaps a massive confusion thread? For example:

AMEN makes a castle on the island, as if building a base for some reason. They really just want to poke around. Hell, maybe Jack Empty owns the castle. He owns lots of little safe houses.

Good organizations hear about this and counter with their own castles.

NO, naturally, makes an outpost to keep tabs and do mercenary work for anyone who pays.

Other organizations might join in. Etc. etc. We have a war!

Of course, that would require collaboration with pretty much everyone, whereas with War Island people just gradually joined.

Not if we shove in some funky environmental factors, a super-duper backing track, and some implication that the thing to be gotten, though cool, isn't essential or world-shifty.

Maybe it's like in Red vs Blue where they're fighting in a box canyon just because the enemy is there.

Though in this case it would probably be an island and everybody fighting over it just because it would make a nice summer home spot for there organization.

Or something like that. I would totally want to do that again(war island) it was fun and interesting. Heck, you could probably get the Empire/Impire whatever involved too.

Huh, now that you say that, it is a bit of a concern. To be honest, I was more concerned about the Tinderbox's effects, although now that you mention it, the backpack does seem like a possible "I win" button. I'll see how the character plays before I make any radical changes. If it ends up too Marty Stue-ish, I'll see if I can't eliminate that factor somehow.

Overall, thank you guys very much for your critique, and for helping out this new guy. Let the good times roll!!
