If they aren't present, The Moff's plot clone, who's been experimenting with the Beeblebrox drinking method for the last week or so, awakens from an alchohol-induced sleep, wobbles over and tries to snatch snatches the gem, and If he is successful, he saunters back to his booth.

At which point the (invisible) dragon tries to bite his hand, "So typical of a human, stealing from his own kind!"

I fear I have to stop you all here again.

Simply walking over and stealing the gem is, once again, godmodding.

So no, Moff does not have the gem, because as soon as Hawk notices the man walking over, he tries to picks it up and slips it into a pocket.

Okay, lots of stuff going on here, so I've fixed the posts above to show how you can do these things without godmodding. And sorry, Shrimp, but you're godmodding here too, since Hawk wasn't one of the three characters mentioned in RE's post.

It does take a bit of practice, but it's not that hard once you get used to it.

I'm not what you might call a conventional magic-user. I have a handful of spells constantly avaliable to me, for the sake of self defence, and since a began adventuring, I've managed to expand that list. At this point Ilyena pats his briefcase. However, given a few minutes, I can cast something like one point five thousand spells off of my laptop. Not convinient in a fight, but the versatility is worth it.

Okay, so it seems like the bets in Trog's go a little something like this.

1 Blackshadow/Drink= 1 Small favor

3 Drinks= 1 Medium Favor

6 Drinks= 1 Larger Favor

Then all of these can be traded for Gold or item of equal value.

Which reminds me that Kris and I should probably compare notes on our versions of hell and make sure we're not contradicting each other too much.

Eh. I've only really mapped out Circles One and Two. One being Lust (which is where half of HALO and GLoG are going ) because again, the idea of the 'virtuous unbeliever' is meaningless in a yadda yadda yadda. Two is Pain, which I chose because it sounded cool. Conveniently enough though, Second Circle in Dante is Lust, so there's no mess to clean up. Anyway, I'm justifying my decision by saying that Pain would be the destination of flagellants, self-mutilators, serial killers and dentists. Of course, there's some overlap with War that needs to be cleaned up (where do war criminals go, for instance?) And of course, between Pain and War, we've got the whole Violence (Seventh Circle) angle covered. So we need a new Circle Seven. List time!

I could just picture the Archdevil of that circle. He'd be twenty feet tall all horns and flapping wings, wearing a tailcoat and britches, sipping tea from a small china cup upon an equally tiny china saucer, and occasionally lashing out with a riding crop as punishment against those who fail to act with proper manners (he spies on them through his monocle). It would be awesome.

Persephone is a widow now. I'm not sure if she's the one who killed Hades or not.

Persephone should totally be the one who offed Hades. Lends a certain symmetry to things. She can blame it on the Demons, too.

Demons get the Infinite Layers of the Abyss or whatever it is? They could have been the original inhabitants of Hell, except when the Devils (who were probably originally gods or angels) fell they forced the demons out into the more chaotic realms bordering Hell. Hilarity most definitely does not ensue.

And then there's whatever version of hell is now run by Shepherd, which apparently had first claim on Reinholdt's afterlife. Which means Decker was wrong about Reinholdt's fate, but she's just a dumb kid.
