Aww...I'm sick. My nose is really runny, my ears feel weird and my eyes are crying, I can't stop sneezing, and I'm completely covered in an ugly color of paint. It's sad. The worst part is that I can't remember which threads I have characters in and which characters are currently having a conversation with someone else. Speaking of which, I'm going to keep all of my characters and NPCs deadtimed 'til tomorrow, when I'll be hopefully feeling better and I'll try to remember which threads they're in so I don't have to read all of them.

So I know that I am really new to this site but I have been thinking about a new character and a plot to go with them. I was thinking about creating a Space Marine. I was thinking about a plot where a drop pod of marines some how dropped into a warp portal, most likely because it was dropping into a war zone fighting against chaos. Anyways. Basically a squad of SMs drop pod into the Nexus, and they look around, see everything, and then decide that they need to do what Space Marines do best. Kill everything that isn't human, and any human who seems to associate with non-humans. And then conquer the humans and bring them the light of the Emporer. I was going to make my character an assault marine. Would anyone else care to participate in the plot?

Anyway, how human is human? I mean, catpeople are pretty much people with cute animal bits slapped on; are they counted as human?

Human is PURE human. Like not the slightest amount of mutation or oddity allowed. Even the humans who do qualify for being Human can be killed for associating with non-Humans.

And no, SPACE MARINES would be a bad, terrible, idea. Horrible. Really, not good.

Conflict is great! It's the heart of any story, and there isn't much to roleplay without it. However, as a player to player courtesy, please check in with the players who are active at any given time before launching an attack. Not everyone wants to roleplay combat scenes, and sometimes there are other things going on that players don't want to interrupt for a random fight. Either a PM/IM to players, a short post in thread to say ((Mind if I introduce a villain here?)) or a longer post in the OOC thread if it's a larger plot is appreciated.

There are usually people around ready for a good fight scene, so just make sure you don't force it on people who aren't. Also, expect heavy resistance. Remember there are PCs of all power levels around, and no GM to try and balance encounters. You could have 5 to 10 players attacking you, some of them with more than one character. Make sure you don't start anything that's too big to handle.

Yes. They would. That was kind of the point. I was basically hoping that some good characters would manage to talk them into chilling out, but them all just getting killed works for me.

As for the part where the Marines would most likely get slaughtered by some of the extreme power level characters. That's fine with me. If that is what people want to do I wont stop them. I was thinking that these characters would either get talked into joining someone or some organization to help people, or killed.
