    Description: 6'2". Brown hair Chopped off just above his shoulders. Green eyes. Thin, and not very well muscled, his features have come to look more delicate and angular, due to his lack of exercise and fully embracing his angelic nature. Wears black denim jeans, a long, blue denim jacket, and various different colored shirts. Has a pair of large, white angel wings, about a 14' wingspan. He's also sometimes an unassuming duck.
    Personality: Normally quite unpredictable, he acts on instinct and impulse, doing whatever he feels like doing. Generally not mean-spirited. When drunk or sufficiently angry, he begins to be able to think clearly, and acts more like the original Rae, though he is more prone to violence.
    Equipment: Crae normally wears a blue denim jacket which offers the same protection as Mythril chainmail and black denim pants that offer the same protection of steel chanimail. He can make various weapons with denimancy.
    Abilities: Denimancy, channeling his holy energies, and healing quickly, though that last one doesn't always work. Oh, and he can turn into a duck that can lay eggs that hatch into things that start with the letter "B."
    Backstory: Spent eleven years as one-third of Rae's consciousness, until Rae lost control one too many times. Rae decided to get the other two versions of himself out. He cloned himself twice and put the other hims in the bodies, killing one of them. Emily cured Crae of (most) of his suicidal and violent tendencies, and Crae has existed separate of the original since.

    Psychic aura: Xifra has an always-on psychic aura that causes her to be almost impossible for normal people to notice her, or remember her if they do. Anyone with a strong will, or any mind protecting ability can be immune if they choose. Also, once someone pays attention to her, it is easier for others to do so.

    Magic: Training as an apprentice. Abilities will grow over time.

    Equipment: Bag of holding, a coin given to her by Jack

    Backstory: Xifra's blood relatives are partially immune to her ability, which allowed her to survive infancy, but they never gave her very much attention. She is the youngest of three children. Her oldest brother Algu has the opposite psychic condition - an always on aura that makes him especially noticeable and beloved. The middle sister, so far unnamed, has no particular abilities.

    Xifra, like everyone else, adored her brother, and did anything for attention, including stealing magic items for him. But occasionally, in a fit of independence, would leave for a while, trying to get by without being used by him, before her loneliness would drive her back. So desperate was she that when Algu whittled a ring out of wood as a gift for their middle sister, she stole it and pretended it had been a gift to her.

    It was in one of her independent times that she ran into Jack Empty, who was able to see her and notice her, and started training as his apprentice.

    Powers: Ashna has slight powers granted by Timir: healing that would make a mortal wound merely very serious or undo a small cut. She would know if someone was lying directly to her.
    More relevantly, there's the fire. Immunity to it, control over it, creating it. Her powers are nullified by the presence of a mime, and she is also vulnerable to water in greater concentrations than light rain.
    The fire burns cold, when she has control of herself or sleeps peacefully, but it wishes freedom to burn, and waits where her feet fall, hoping that it might be free. However much it may like her, freedom would be better.
    Furthermore, the lycanthropy. Transformation is required on the three nights closest to the full moon, and possible on night that are not the three closest to the new moon. As a wolf, does not quite remember who she is, or think clearly, but is rarely overly violent. Vulnerable always to silver and mountain ash trees.

    Story: Ashna and her younger twin sister Luna were born in Keeriville, in Killissinni, in Droma, in one of many far-off fantasy worlds, named both after the characters from local fairy tales. Lived fairly happily for four or five years.
    These being the last days of a Great War, this did not long last, as one side deployed a superweapon and the others, pushed so far, brought out mere nuclear missiles.
    Even in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, though, there is hope. The flame spirit that was in her, previously quiet, saw her through it all. It said 'look here for food', and food was found. It said 'hide here from the ghosts in the fog', and they did not find her. It said, 'kill this intruder', and she did. In a while, some uncounted months or short years, for the seasons were unstable, a tribe of amoebakin took her in, and she stayed there for ten years or so, until the Battle of Cobbler Pass, where after holding off the Etran army's advance into the wasteland for several weeks, the four of them were driven out and fled south, into Tower Country.
    Horrors from the wastelands were not welcome anywhere, but they eventually found work hunting lycanthropes for their old enemies in the northeast. Risen to positions of power, they pushed through a plan to exterminate the remnants of Machi, who had destroyed Droma on the Last Day.
    The world being happily rebuilt, another apocaplot had to come to the NPCworld, and Ashna went forth with other heroes to stop it. The Dark Lord Teel struck them down without much effort, some killed, Ashna merely driven back to Etra with her mind in pieces. Cael sacrificed himself to end the threat, leaving her heart broken too, for he had been a good friend and rival. She spent her days working badly as a smith of dark metals.
    A flock of cockatrice had taken to eating her customers, and she went to hunt them into the woods, and became lost, and wandered upon GLoG.
    She was reminded that yes, once upon a time she had helped and protected people, and would try again. She spoke with robots and dealt mainly with prisoners. One, Raril, bit her and she saw this as a sign, for lycanthropy had never taken her before, in all the previous battles against the shapechangers in the eastern woods and deserts. Much of her time then went to practicing self-control, and baking. Became friends with Brendan and Runner, and became enemies with Magtok for his lies and kidnapping attempts. Other things happened, but they're down in the digest.

    Brianna has freckles, flame-orange hair, light skin, and gray eyes. She's quite pretty, but it's not divine beauty as some Scions have. Overall, while she's young, it's apparent once you look at her that she's both tough and intelligent, and she certainly is both. She generally wears a jacket and jeans while outdoors, and when it's socially appropriate, has a sheathed sword on her back.

    In mundane areas, Brianna's a medical surgeon, with all that implies- she specialises in trauma surgery, but is starting to branch out into other fields- and she generally keeps a miniature First Aid kit on her person. In addition, she's quite good with a sword, and that's only increasing as she goes.
    As a Scion, Brianna has a number of divine abilities. Firstly, she's tough. She can power through injuries that would leave most on the floor with pain, is resistant to damage in the first place (although not to a massive degree), and can self-heal to a limited extent (although not to the point of regenerating lost body parts). She's also stronger than she appears, and is very, very smart (with eidetic memory to go along).
    Secondly, she has a number of Boons. Her general boons are in the areas of Fire (she is immune to fire, can remove a fire's need for both air and fuel (or create a small flame about equivalent to a candle) and see out of fire she can see or has bolstered using the previous ability) and Health (assess someone's health with a touch, restore or remove fertility (or ensure a healthy or sickly birth if used on a pregnant woman), and finally heal injuries (although only to a limited extent- she can reduce the severity of serious injuries, or heal lesser injuries entirely.)). Finally, as a Scion of the Tuatha de Dannan, she has several Boons of their Pantheon Specific Purview, Enech (Brianna can read someone's general nature, is bound by a Food-Geas prohibiting her from eating swan meat in exchange for more easily regaining divine power, and can call on Fate to lay a minor Geas on someone).

    Description: Appears to be a young female with waist-long hair. She wears an open helmet with a "No. 23" written on it. Her armor has a plastic/metallic appearance around her torso, boots, greaves and gauntlets, but it leaves her shoulders exposed. It appears to be mostly aesthetic.
    Personality: Null. Her speech patterns are usually assesment of the situation, suggesting course of action, and inquiries. She often makes comments when she can't understand something, but it's not very easy to hold a conversation with her.
    Equipment: Only her clothes and helmet. She uses no weapons.
    Abilities: Psi can create energy waves and energy blasts in the form of plasma or current. On occasions, these energy waves/blasts can take the form of something almost solid.
    Backstory: Not much is known about her mysterious past. What we know: She is part of a series of similar cyborgs. The people who created her are most likely gone, but their superiors aren't. It is unknown how many others like her still exist, but many must have been destroyed by now. For whatever reasons, Psi is no longer following the orders of the people who were in charge of her.
    Miscellaneous: Contrary to what may appear, Psi IS sentient.

    Class/Profession: Monstrous/magical creature.

    Power Rating: It's big, and tough, but none too bright. Probably counts as a C or B, but with its intelligence, very scalable.

    Description: Probably eight or nine feet tall when standing up straight, walking with a slightly hunched stature. Its lower body is remotely humanoid - a pair of legs as thick as tree trunks, tight brown leather trousers interspersed with uniform patches of metal traveling down to about his calves. Halfway down his lower legs, a pair of huge, brown boots begin, and he tends to stomp around in these pretty much all the time.

    Above his broad belt, Orich's humanoid features rapidly deteriorate. His skin is a chitinous, gleaming, almost metal-like substance. At first glance, his dark-green hulk of a torso doesn't appear to have anything more than a head. But all around his body, sheathed inside tube-like alcoves of the chitin, are four spindly, scything arms. When they extend, the vaguely insectoid arms angle downward and then back up in a single joint, terminating in ridged, scythelike appendages. This scythes can fold apart yet further, into three seperate 'fingers' with which he can manipulate finer objects. Two arms extend from his shoulders/front, while the other two break forth from his shoulders/back. The joints can bend these arms in essentially any direction.

    Atop his mountainous, ridged neck is yet another fine horror. His 'head' is essentially a slanted twisting of some chitinous, tube-like substances. It curls up around the top of what was once a skull, then stops as it uniformly becomes some green, shining scalp. There are no visible features except for his eyes. Between the tubes wrappings, four diagonally-slanted (in one direction) eyes can be seen glowering, glowing a pale silver as they watch the world.

    Several large patches of him have tubes or pumps things that look like mechanical workings.

    Personality: Simplistic. Loyal. Brutish and overprotective of what things he does care about. Gradually developing feelings.

    Equipment: He's wearing those flawless, oversized leather trousers. And those huge dark-brown boots. And that huge belt.

    Nothing else, though.

    Abilities (strengths):

    -Superhuman strength and durability, exceeding that of Yannovick by quite a bit.
    -Scythe-arms have durability similar to steel. They can cut quite well.
    -On each side, two limbs can fold together, and the scythes can fold inward towards the lower arms. When two of his spindly arms are interspersed, they can temporarily solidify and grow heftier, essentially becoming bulky, fingerless fists.
    -Somewhat attuned to psychic energies. Can feed on some psychic power.
    -Slow regeneration.

    Weaknesses:

    -Uninventive and rather dull-witted.
    -Though he can put on the occasional burst of speed, most of his attacks can be seen coming a mile away.
    -Very vulnerable to mind-based attacks. Though if he's not put down quickly in this manner, the brute's likely to home in on whoever did the attacking.
    -Psionic powers can damage him better than magic or physical attack.

    Backstory: Not much to tell. He's been serving as Yannovick Ventrii's bodyguard for the past two years or so, and is very loyal. His creator got the idea from a horror movie he saw one time.

    Description: Fade is a humanoid person. He is just average in size due to today’s human standards. His skin shows of a perfect color (This came from a magical effect. Normally he had a bright skin color typical for a person who lived in a place without a sun.) His body is treated with many scars, which he got in many fights. He has black hair cut short and spiky, while his face is shaved clean. Looking at him might give the impression of a 20 year old man. The thing people can remind him most are his shiny yellow eyes which appear to gloom if you look directly into them.
    His clothes can be more seen as rags. Several layers of black, grey and shadow grey cover his body. While a cape rounds up the outfit. On his side hangs a sword. Poor made, like a man never learned blacksmith before made it.

    Fade's shadow is a copy of him; the only difference is that he is a shadow so he has no different colored clothes.

    For a pose it would be nice to have fade and his shadow stand either back to back or facing each other weapon drawn as if they are ready for battle.

    Equipment: Clothes and a sword made of shadow
    Abilities:
    Shadow Copy: Fade 's shadow is able to create copys of other peoples shadows. They include all skills(even learned and born)and minor memories. The copy can only be made if the owner gives Fade the acces. With access to the shadow he copies all there is no exception. If Fade's shadow switch himself to one of the copied shadows he has access to the skills. Fade now is only able to use oine shadow the same moment.
    Current copys: Lewis, Emily, a female Elf mage, a Paladin, a Giant, Zorro Kitsune.

    Shadow Controll: Fade is able to animate the shadow of another person, but this only works on near willless people like zombies. The animated shadow and the real one share there wounds.
    To be a shadow: This ability makes Fade invulnerableto light based attacks. The reason is easy. For his Race the Sun is there mother cause she is rising and falling increases there power. Lightbeams just go trough them without causing anything, also lightbased objects can't interact with Fade.
    Backstory:
    Fade kind is called the shadows. They live in a realm that never so a sun like we know. The only thing spending a little light is a blue sunlike object ion the sky. Most of them live there normal live, but some get greate power. There power gives them the abillity to fuse with the shadows and more. But there power has a price. They need a master someone who controlls the light. Cause of the less source of light in there realm all shadows gained that power need to go to exile and never come back. Fade is one of these cursed shadows. He is now on his research for the bright one he will offer his service.

    Sakura is a young dryad woman with african features. She's very short and has a full, pear shaped figure. Her hair is a very long, volumous mass of cherry blossom flowers. Her skin is a moderately dark brown and her eyes are golden brown. Her ears are exceptionally long and pointed. She often wears a variety of colourful dresses, and sometimes glases when she remembers.

    Personality:
    Sakura is a very friendly and loving person. She constantly seeks out the company of others. She's generally very cheerful, and it's hard to keep her spirits down. She sometimes lacks confidence in herself, but on the other hand she puts a great deal of confidence in her friends. She's very trusting, but sometimes it gets her in trouble as she can be naive too.

    Abilities:
    Mother Divine - Caring for children comes as easily to Sakura as breathing. Not only do they naturally feel comfortable around her, but she's closely intuned with their needs and desires. Even the laws of reality tend to bend and warp around Sakura when she's attending to children.

    Lifegiver - Sakura creates and nurtures life with remarkable adeptness. From her family to her garden, what she nurtures and cares for thrives, healthy and strong. Neither disease nor injury will linger under Sakura's care.

    Child of the Forest - As a dryad, the natural world seems to subtly bend to Sakura's will. Otherwise inanimate plants will help her along her way, animals will act as her friend, and both are easily encouraged by her words and touch.

    Sakura has lead a sheltered and carefree life, one might say too sheltered. She has always been under the protection of Sarget, and in their world there was little that would dare attack a treant. So Sakura grew up largely naive to the dangers she could face in a place like the Nexus.

    She and Sarget were relatively solitary. What people they did meet were soon left behind as the pair continued on in their wandering. There are two notable exceptions. The first was a human village where she spent the better part of a year. The second was Adir Frescot. They were sort of seeing each other, though not any kind of serious relationship. Sakura was quite taken with him, however. She would see him on and off until he disappeared into the Nexus.

    They came from a savage, ancient world, where the gods of nature and the ancient spirits of the world held sway of mortals. The planet was always half-connected to the Outside region of the Nexus.

    Equipment: Various bits of magical equipment. An athame with the shape of a Viking longsword inscribed with runic designs.
    Abilities: He is a master of personal Transmutation and well-trained in Evocation. His swordsmanship is fair at best
    Backstory: Vance is an agent of the White Council. He has had a succesful career as a Warden and is now assigned to the early threat detection service. He is stationed in the Nexus with orders to report any significant threats to the Council.

    Description: In human form, he'd be thin and weak looking, sandy brown and dusty hair, brown skin, black eyes, impressively long nose that he'd always refer to as his snout, small fangs, and a nasally voice. He'd wear brightly colored entertainer's clothes mostly, but he also has a brown cloak that's way too big for his human form but made for hiding his dragon one, which isn't too much bigger than his human one, but he's stronger, has good armour in his sandy brown scales, fiery breath, claws, and a tail

    Personality: Smart, greedy, self-centered, can be very flattering, mostly acts like a harmless little smart aleck, but he loves egging people on just because it's fun, very weaselly, loves non-magical means of getting things done and is always looking to learn, hates relying on magic and will sometimes destroy or just mess with any magical items that he finds, and he has a taste for female virgins, as in, eating them, whenever he can get away with it

    Equipment: Lots of potions and poisons, a bunch of throwing daggers, a sword for sword-swallowing, and a large and colorful wagon with Trahald's Itinerant Apothecary written in large and flowy letters on it, with And Toyshop tacked on at the end in more simple-looking letters, a large horse to pull the thing, a pony tied to the back, and two enchanted minions

    Abilities: He can switch between human and dragony-looking dude forms, fly, breathe fire, and telepathically communicate via eye contact, he can hypnotize with his gaze, but, as usual, it would only work if the victim had pathetic willpower or was already mentally weakened in some way, and he prefers not to use such cheap tricks, anyways.

    Backstory: Born the runt of the litter to a large brood of Wereworms (basically, just what they sound like, also, they're desert-dwellers), he decided to avoid the bullying by leaving to mess with humans. Having lots of fun, he decided that dragons and other overly powerful type things are pretty boring, so he's trying to act as if he's just another human. Of course, he does have his little dragony quirks.

    Miscellaneous: His two minions could easily be characters of their own, but as long as they're under his control, they'll just stay quiet and try to be uninteresting. Thekk is a tall human with balding hair and a fancy-looking sword. Trahald calls him his boss and tells people that he's just not much of a people person. Rimpalome is a three foot tall raven, except that he's also got some arms under his wings to use. Trahald calls him their alarm system, and the guy is usually perched on top of the wagon or the highest place in the area.

    Personality: Bitter about that whole Ex-Fae thing, but still unwilling to give up the rules of the Seelie Court. Still showing the usual personality traits of a Seelie:

    Curious, loves stories, vengeful and proud and prone to over-reacting.

    Friend is also very impressionable and hold friends highly. But that may just be the initial reaction from arriving to the mortal lands.

    Equipment: A cloak, a mortuary sword, the clothes worn and a suit of mechanical armour courtesy of Magtok.

    Abilities: Fending (both European, Chinese, Mayan and Dancing styles), herbal knowledge, reading and deciphering languages, being immune to direct magic effects and a number of minor trivia skills picked up over the ages. Few are particularly great, however.

    Divine items are not well-liked by the Faerie. Friend has yet to test if they affect ex-seelie.

    Friend has recently acquired a suit of mechanical armour capable of flight, laser blasts from the hands and looking niftily archaic.

    Backstory: Friend, before getting this name, was a Seelie Faerie. Interacting with the humans they whisked to the Seelie Court, Friend-to-be spend most of the millenia learning of the human cultures and hearing the stories from it. The Fae having strong magical powers in their realm, little was necessary of work or war, making Seelie life peaceful.

    However, in an incident the non-Seelie rarely talks about, Friend broke the rules of the Seelie by killing a guest. Banished from the Seelie Court, Friend now lives in the Nexus as a mortal, cursed with never touching magic again.

    Alignment: Serves any Maestro, Frau or their Messengers. Although cracks have appeared in this Obedience.
    Class/Profession: Servant, tea-maker and occasional fighter.

    Description: Mechanical, the 'hair' is short and black with light 'bangs' in the front. The 'hair' is mostly vents for steam. Eyes are blue as is the power-source in the chest, protected by a breastplate and 'ribs' but otherwise visible. Obviously made in a clockwork and steampower era, as there are no discernible plastics and many gears visible.
    AM4's face is featureless sans the eyes, although it somehow manages to show emotion in the rare cases that it breaks through the Obedience

    Personality: Obedient by design, AM4 has little choice in anything and will almost always seek orders. Even if it means self-harm.

    Due to damage and concern showed from a few 'Fraus' and 'Maestros', AM4 is showing some rare instances of independence. Gratefulness has been the most prevalent.

    Equipment: Nothing but own body

    Abilities: Excellent tea brewing and balance, the Etheral generator in the chest provides part-magical energy that can be shot from hands and eyes as well as source through AM4 when damaged.

    Some ability to see magical effects otherwise invisible and strange reactions to anti-magic.

    Backstory: A mechanical servant created in a world where most of the world lie under the Empire With the Eternal Sun (formed from what was once the British Empire and several Germanic nations). A rich elite had almost unlimited power over workers and other "commoners". Social change was often met with harsh punishment and automatons, while possibly sentient, where seen as nothing but tools.

    AM4, as most automatons in this world, was powered by an Etheral Crystal core and still is. Secret scientific research on these lead to AM4's host family, a mostly good family restrained in their efforts to change things by the system, being hunted. Fleeing, the last living members of the family gave those they could, be they automatons, workers or others, what information they could before sending them off.

    Hunted by the Royal Guard, part-machine police of the Royal line of the Empire, AM4 fled to the deep Etheral mines when.

    AN is the front business for Frank's operation. Primarily based out of a run-down warehouse in the Red Zone, outwardly decrepit, but heavily warded. The operation isn't huge, at the moment: Frank himself is the most powerful member (and won't have a profile until I'm good and ready, so there), and he's created several rather powerful lieutenants, summoning vastly powerful alien intelligences, binding them via labrynthian and mind-bending contracts, and sticking them into the most fit hosts he could find. Most of his mooks, however, are controlled by more modest, easy to control daemons.

    Lotus is Frank's most complicated creation: her physical form in her previous life is one thing, but since she now operates under a Class 4 Glamour, she can shift her appearance at will, usually prefering that of a stunning human woman. She's Frank's only truly undead creation; in order to allow the daemon controlling her the most possible power, all other life had to be wiped away. Therefore, everything she does is with an alien, unearthly grace, and she's much closer to "sqaumous" than "mundane" when it comes right down to it.

    It takes a shockingly short amount of time to set up a binding grid in an alley, drag a couple of innocents into it, rattle off the incantations, and have a new squad of unquestioningly loyal, daemon-possessed minions. Most of Frank's minions are normal humans leading normal lives; however, at any given time, twenty or so are on guard at the warehouse, and another thirty are off running Frank's errands throughout the city.

    Personality: Manipulative, scheming, but generally friendly. Goal-oriented but non-obsessive. A decent leader and manager of resources where he is from, and quickly adaptive to being out of his element. Occasionally superior, even arrogant. Gives talking and action equal value, depending on the situation.
    Equipment: First and foremost; His magic sword, practically unbreakable (totally unbreakable by normal means), this glowing blade can smash stone and slice metal. However, despite being very clearly exceptionally sharp, this blade cannot kill. Anyone struck by this Longsword can, at best, be rendered unconcious or, if beaten brutally enough with enough heavy strikes, perhaps rendered comatose. But the blade will never take a life.
    His armour, not quite as unique or magical as his sword, but enchanted to absorb physical force, to a degree, and to change colour scheme on the whim of the owner. (Because you never know what colours you'll be fighting under tomorrow). Of note: the armour is obviously face-concealing.
    Many different outfits, shoes, shirts and the like, for various occasions or desired appearances.
    A simple, iron dagger, looted off of something or other, always worn on his belt.
    Abilities: Limited mental abilities; Limited in that they are almost completely internal, only working as a mental defense, or to pick up extremely obvious or powerful thoughts and emotions. Your mind is safe, unless it enters his.
    A spirit of desire, trapped in his right hand, allowing him to use the spirit's magic, as long as the use is fueled by his desire for something. (Most common use: Summoning his weapons or armour from wherever they are to him with the click of a finger, but also usable for more interesting magical applications. Almost completely useless offensively or defensively in a fight)
    Greatly enhanced physical abilities, stronger and faster than the average human should be.

    Powers: Anything you might expect from an 8-bit videogame. He can jump exceedingly high, instantly heal by touching food, hold a near infinite amount of objects, return from the dead, etc. He has three hit points, but every attack, strong or weak, does one health point worth of damage to him, so he can survive attacks that would baste a normal person.

    Equipment: Hero has a blocky, pixelated sword that pushes anyone it hits a few feet back. He also has a small shield, and five extra lives.

    Story: Hero lived a mediocre life as a commoner until Princess Sarah was kidnapped by the evil knight Sir Stain. Of course, Hero set off to rescue her. After travelling through seven contrived and themed dungeons, he reached the final dungeon and fought Sir Stain. On the verge of defeat, Stain created a portal to another world and pushed Hero through. When Hero tumbled out the other side, he found himself in the Nexus.

    Personality: Brinika is a rather exuberant child, quite enthusiastic about life in general, and easily excited. She's very curious and nosy, and can be relentlessly inquisitive when something catches her attention - which tends not to last long, as her attention span is notoriously short. However, she's easily intimidated and scared by things she recognizes as dangerous.
    Equipment: Two items of consequence are:
    • Caretaker, one of the last GLoG drones. He was programmed to obey and protect Brinika.
    • A goblin doll she named Bika. It's a gift from Mother Eve and will speak if given some food.

    Abilities: Brinika is talented at music and very bright overall, picking up new things easily.
    More importantly, however, she has divine powers by the virtue of being the Maiden aspect of Mother Eve. She has powers related to purity and innocence, music and manipulation of earth and darkness. However, she hasn't begun to understand and develop them yet.

    Class: Originally, a thief. Since coming into his own enough to afford the materials for study, primarily a wizard and mad scientist, though he hasn't forgotten his stealthy old tricks, by any means.

    Power Rating: Around a C+, generally; up to a B or so with planning; anywhere from E- to S when in periods of psychological trauma/shock.

    Description: To most humans, Skugdim would look like any other goblin, though perhaps with a somewhat, shall we say, "distinctive" sense of fashion; Skugdim typically dresses in a finely-tailored black-and-white suit with a thin necktie and flamboyantly green (even against his skin) handerchief in its pocket, however, he wears well-worn black boots (with red laces on his right foot and green on his left), even with the otherwise formal outfit. His hair is usually nicely trimmed and neatly arranged, usually somewhere between a pompadour and being slicked back, in any case with a noteable widow's-peak, as is typical of a goblin. Skugdim sleeps rather poorly and, accordingly, the green of his skin darkens towards a midnight blue around his eyes, and fatigue has sunken his cheeks such that his pronounced cheekbones protrude even more. Skugdim chainsmokes, and is essentially only seen without a cigarette on special occasions, when he smokes a cigar.

    Personality: Somewhere behind the crazy, the malicious, the sociopathic, the et ceteras, Skugdim is a charming, occasionally even courteuos, fellow. Deep down, one could argue that he is a basically good guy who, through a multiverse largely filled with prejudice, personal adversity, and that sort of distillation of qualities which comes from long periods of loneliness have soured and bent into the misshapen thing he is today. Half-mad in his lucid periods, with more knowledge at his behest even than his brilliant mind can hold, Skugdim is consumed with paranoid distrust and deep-seated derision for most any sort of society, however, there are some things (animals, small children, the heartbroken) for whom he feels great empathy and care, though the lengths he will go to defend them often hide his soft side beneath his familiar, destructive shell. His madness, in all of its forms, hasn't detracted from the brilliance which brought it about, and even in his most disjointed of conversations, cleverness and intellectual acuity shine through.

    Equipment: Skugdim is a very capable archer, and has a wide collection of bows which, through both magic and science, he is continually refining. He does not wear armour, for those unsafe enough to need it will, in his experience, gain no benefit from its meagre "protections." He carries two heavily enchanted kukri knives of a durable, lightweight alloy of a reflective, dark-blue colour. Otherwise, there is a curious-looking ring in his left ear. Beyond that, he somehow manages to rapidly assemble laboratories wherever he finds himself, though precisely how this is done is unknown.

    Abilities: A capable caster and scientist, Skugdim's main strength relies in the clever tactics and complex machinations learned in his time as a more mundane criminal; more than his myriad of potent (though unremarkable) tools, Skugdim's most terrifying ability is the brain with which he uses them.

    Backstory: Has anybody ever told you "None of your business?" If not, let a paranoid Goblin be the first.

    Power Rating: On the DnD 3.5 CR level...he'd probably be about a seven.
    Description: Davitte has deep navy blue skin with soft scales showing up here and there, especially along his spine and well-muscled belly. For a yuan-ti, he is surprisingly good looking to mammalian humanoids, with his broad forehead, strong chin, and smooth face. His eyes are angled and reflective, with almost no color to the iris (though the reflective qualities cause it to sometimes have a silvery prismatic sheen, like a good pearl). He has no hair, but he does have some dark blue feathers extending from the back of his head that are loose enough to look like hair. Little glowing blue spots run up and down the side of his body and leave a glowing mist, and his tongue and breath glow neon blue. He likes to wear dark brown and black rags that he ties tightly over his body so that none of his skin is showing and binds them to himself even tighter with light leather thongs. He wears a brown hooded cloak, and masks his face with more rags, covering up his eyes with black lensed goggles. He's tall, lithe, and lightly muscled and has small, thin membraned frills around the backs of his ear holes that move around to amplify sound. His tongue is forked, and can swell up and launch his fast acting venom a surprising distance.
    Personality: Pragmatic, constantly worried, jealous, quick to make friends and enemies, and even quicker to fight for or kill them. Enjoys knowing more than his enemies if he can, and likes to drink. Believes strongly in putting fun and meeting new people above all else, and isn't one to settle down for long. Becomes sort of an ass when in combat or doing business. He has no qualms against eating or capturing those who attack him, but is protective of children, loves to tell stories, and feels horrible about what he does sometimes. If it wasn't for his tribe's and his own survival, he wouldn't be doing a lot of the things he does.
    Equipment: Two buckler shields strapped to his arms and two curved long knives with bladed pommels. The knives are bladed on both sides at the tip, but the lower half of the back is blunt and meant for blocking. He carries around several scrolls and maps and other things, and has a belt of daggers and a hand crossbow.
    Abilities: The yuan-ti pureblood abilities, plus some low level wizard spells and the ability to spit his paralyzing venom at enemies as a contact poison.
    Backstory: Davitte is a spy for a contingent of Yuan-Ti that was lost underground centuries ago, but still carries out it's mission of mapping underground. He doesn't know it, but the group was killed off by drow scouts almost as soon as he left to map out his assigned area ten years ago. Over the last ten years, he has grown to love the fact his job lets him do pretty much whatever he wants, since he has a life time to do it. More to be added later.

He for the most part made of hard rock, but has growths of huge, luminescent, and sharp quartz-like navy blue crystals protruding from his knuckles, shoulders, forehead, and back. His facial features are crude and seem etched into his stone head, his eyes aren't even a different color than the rest of his body and he lacks eyelids.
    Equipment: Nothing. Nudity is not a problem.
    Abilities: He can speak common/English relatively well, and leads his clan of giants. And... can... smash... stuff?
    Backstory: He was born in and has lived in the Underside for most of his long, looong "life". Once he reached the good age of around 1,000 or so, Grogorg became leader of his clan of giants due to seniority. He decided to try some new things, and joined the Undercity. Soon his clan of giants hollowed and shaped a garden of crystals in a stalagmite, and became one of the noble houses. And... that's that.

    Description: Mr. Sirtch is not a pretty man. Several thousand years of hellfire has done a number on his formerly angelic skin, and there's not even the slightest trace of his old wings left. He does, however, have a pretty nice suit, and a jolly grin permanently burnt into his face now that his lips and cheeks are all gone.

    Personality: Though he's got a long reputation for being a terrible, awful, disgusting person, Mr. Sirtch is trying hard, very hard to make up for all of that. He might be ugly on the outside, but he's trying his best to be an absolute angel on the inside.

    Equipment: A suitcase, a snazzy suit, and a spiffy-looking fedora. We'll see what's in the suitcase later, I suppose.

    Abilities: Beyond smelling like brimstone, I'm still undecided. We'll find out as I play him.

    Backstory: Mr. Sirtch, in his own words, "goofed up really bad, a long, long time ago". After a conflict with Gabe and the others in his department, he was fired from his office, and stuck with a nasty little dead-end job in some loathsome pit in the ground. After more than six thousand, six hundred, and sixty-six years of this sort of work, he's finally returned, to try to negotiate a new settlement with his old employer, and convince everyone he's changed, for the better.

    My heavens, it has been ages since I’ve held a writing implement. Literal ages, as a matter of fact! It feels so good to finally be able to put my thoughts down somewhere again, to have thoughts other than pain and desire for vengeance and hunger for the flesh and souls of helpless mortals! It feels good to be doing things, to be alive, to be out of that festering brimstone hole in the ground! Praise the saints and angels and clouds and mortals and…and everything! Goodness, I just feel so fantastic I want to wrap my arm’s around some mortal’s throat and squeeze until he-
    -No. No, that’s the wrong kind of thoughts. That’s the sort of thinking that got you into this mess in the first place, bad Sirtch. We’re repenting for all of that, remember? We hug the mortals, not choke them. You gently press your arms against the thorax, you don’t apply pressure to the throat with hands or claws. We’re redeeming your soul, not damning someone else’s.
    Anyways, I’m sorry about that, diary. I guess I’ve still got quite a road ahead of me before I’ve redeemed myself in the Deus-Man’s eyes, huh? Yep, it’s quite a long, bumpy, exciting road. Everybody’s already saying “Lightbringer? Nah, he won’t last five minutes out in the Nexus before he beheads some little girl’s kitten and pins it on her neighbor Bobby and sends her off on a roaring rampage of revenge.”
    No seriously diary, someone said that. They said every last insensitive, heart-wrenching, demoralizing word, just like that. It’s kinda hurtful and disappointing to hear what the seraphs and cherubim and everyone up there thinks of me…but I’m determined to prove them wrong! Yeah, no more Mr. Not-So-Nice-Guy! This leopard’s going to change his spots, claim his halo, and maybe even climb all the way back to his old job as G-Man’s number two guy someday!
    For now though, I’ve gotta think small. I have to stick by this plan, have to figure out how I’m gonna resist temptation and get my act together. Thanks to the marvels of mortal technology, I have this nifty lightning-box to carve and save messages, but mortal technology’s only going to get me so far and-Whoa, what’s this MagSat thing?
    …The mortals have lightning-boxes in space now?! And they have eyes, and I can pay a monthly fee in mortal currency to see pictures taken from this lightning-box’s eye? Wow, my redemption officer never mentioned this when he gave me that tour. This is…this is amazing, diary. To think, these guys were carving ten laws into a lump of rock only a few millennia ago…Mortals are capable of extraordinary things when not being led astray to sin, diary! Hey, there’s a Maggypedia here with all sorts of information, too! I’m going to go look it over for a few minutes.

    Man, did I ever lose track of time, diary! I am sooooo sorry for that! You just wouldn’t BELIEVE all the information mortals have lying around on this “Magnet” thing. Apocalypse records, political archives, mortal organizations with crazy acronym names…it’s just ridiculous how much information the mortals have to share with each other! And anyone can edit this stuff, too! I have no idea how they keep people from just making things up on it!
    Anyways, I found out from Maggypedia that there’s this place called ‘GLoG.’ It’s one of those acronyms, the name stands for Good League of Good. They do healing, apocalypse aid, lodgings for the sick and destitute, and here’s the big one…REDEMPTIONS! I am so lucky, diary! I mean, I don’t want to sound cocky or anything, but if gambling weren’t a vice, I’d bet you my entire allowance of mortal monies that the Trinity Boss-Man is totally smiling down on me right now. We’re heading to GLoG right now, you and I, and with the help of those mortals, these are going to beat this redemption thing, you hear me diary? We’re going to win!

    Description: Her skin is an aquamarine colour, and is soft and smooth. Her eyes are a golden colour, and she has long dark brown hair. As all the Sinsyi, she has strange, thin prehensile tentacle-like appendages just under her ears.

    Equipment: Glow-crystal mining equipment. Glow crystal is one of the hardest substances in the underground, and as such her hard-hat helmet can take many blows before cracking, at least as many as a decent suit of armour, despite being notably lighter. Her drill-arm, due to similar toughness, will find it to be no hard task to mine most other materials. Her boots are weighted at the bottoms, however, and cause her to stomp around, but keep her firmly planted on her feet during underground tremors.
    Abilities: Without her equipment aiding her defense and strength, Shy'anni is little more than a brawler, however good she might be at the art of fight fighting and improvised weapons. This is mostly due to her love of going to the pub after work and getting drunk.
    Backstory: Shy'anni is a proud member of the Undercity Miners Guild. Aside from her notable success in the mining field, there was little to say about her before this moment in her life. She was raised by her father, a man very much alike to her in personality, and learnt the joy of a good melee. However, she is still efficient at her work, and managed to become a worthy addition to the Miners Guild through her perseverance. Like all miners, she became fairly popular with the common man, due to her habit of visiting the pubs on her days off - and that's pretty much where we found her before her first in-character appearance.

    Class/Profession: Barfighting is what Charles does, but he doesn't get payed for it. He earns a living, if you can call it that, busking with a harmonica. If he can't find enough to eat, he might rummage through garbage bins to see what he can find.
    Power Level: C
    Description: Charles is a tall Caucasian man, with a thin frame. His face is similar to his body, long and thin. He has messy brown hair, and greying stubble. His brown eyes reflect dark personality. He wears a long (down to his knees), brown, dirty trenchcoat, over an old grey shirt, and dirty grey trousers. While he's outside he wears a brown fedora.
    Personality: Charles is a whole number of things. He's hardy and tough. He's also easily angered. Empathy and showing his emotions aren't strong points for Charles; he's usually very stoic. He tries to be a good person, but his cynicism and apathy lets him down. Charles will rarely pass up on a free be, especially if it's food. He's often hungry and almost always poor.
    Equipment: An old service revolver with an old leather flap holster worn around his waist, a harmonica and 18 rounds of ammunition. Despite the service revolver being quite old, it still is quite accurate with good stopping power.
    Abilities: Charles is ridiculously tough. His bones are unusually hard and strong, making them almost impossible to break. Because of this, he can withstand punishment that would kill others. He's strong and fast, making him a formidable opponent in the melee. He's also a skilled unarmed fighter and a good shot with his revolver, but he doesn't use it very much.
    Backstory: Charles is an old soldier, a veteran of many battles. Unfortunately, when they ended, he had trouble adjusting to normal life. Then one day, he awoke in the Nexus.

    Class/Profession: Was an ordinary guy. Now he's getting into the detective business.
    Power Level: D to D+. He's smart, decently strong, and he knows where to hit. Being pretty much desensitized to pain doesn't hurt, but at the end of the day, he's a normal guy.
    Description: Patches wears his hair short and parted on the left, not that it's the first thing you notice, but he wishes it were; the first thing you notice is that his body is more covered with scars than just about any other in Inside, just about every inch of it. His mouth is crooked, one ear is stitched to his head, one nostril is higher; his knuckles don't start in the same place they used to, he has seams like a stuffed animal. Honestly, most of his old friends would mistake him for a flesh golem or a zombie before they'd realize he was Patrick.
    Personality: Patches might have used to be a lot of things, but he was a nameless NPC then, and this is now; Patches is rather glum and grim, having been made through some sort of callous, quasi-calculated plan into a monster. His girlfriend left, his friends are more awkward silences and horrified stares of pity than support. Customers still come by his old shop, but, well, he understands if they leave their kids outside, because, you know. . . bad dreams and all. He knows a lot about bad dreams.
    Equipment:A blacksmith's hammer, a coat with a collar high enough to hide his face, and some fuzzy memories. Oh, and a lot of money.
    Abilities: Determination, and that's about it.
    Backstory: Patches was a normal NPC, a blacksmith or something like it by the look of things, before an unfortunate interlocution outside a bar, in which someone asked to borrow his "monkey suit." There were a few minutes of pain between that and someone was sewing his skin back on, leaving more gold than he thought he'd see in a lifetime as "tip."

    Abilities: Apart from her tech, she seems to be able to survive improbable situations through completely improbable means. Cause of this is unknown.

    She has a tattoo on her chest of the Heartless symbol. There is also one on her back of the Nobody symbol. She says they act as reminders of what she is supposed to be fighting.

    Her Keyblade is named "Secrets of the Deep". It was acquired when she went to the world "Atlantis". It seems to be made of a dull gray stone. The teeth at the end are somewhat rounded, and the handguard is also mostly circular. The entire thing has runes carved into it that glow a bright blue color. The keychain hanging from it is an old book with one of the runes on the cover.

    Holding this Keyblade seems to give her the ability to understand any language, spoken or written, as well as others understanding her. But, she has to be holding the Keyblade to do this.

    Syra has had a Keyblade for twelve years now. She still isn't sure why she was chosen.

    Not long after she went through her training, she gave up on the normal Keyblade route. It just wasn't for her. So, she took her skills and made use for them elsewhere. Mostly picking up mercenary jobs. That's pretty much all she's done for the past eleven years now. Whatever odd jobs she can find.

    Alignment: He can be a real bastard, and is a minion of a mad wizard, but is altogether not evil of his own accord. Probably a mean sort of chaotic neutral.

    Class/Profession: Minion. Decent brawler, carries a gun. Make of it what you will.

    Power Rating: Used to be a D/D+. With vamp powers, he's probably a C or something now. Not that he's very used to em.

    Description: A reedy, wiry sort of fellow. An exceptionally long face and cheekbones, with a prominent chin. Dark, typically slicked hair. Average height. Has a nice bowler hat that he wears on occasion. Also typically carries an umbrella now, given his vampiric nature.

    Personality: Decently bright, though a bit brunt and brutish in his mannerisms. He isn't good at holding grudges or killing people, despite the fact that his boss asks him to on occasion. Likes drinking. Hates that he's a vampire. Hates Jack. Hates practically everyone until they do something nice for him. Well, not exactly, but he certainly isn't a people person very often.

    Equipment: Clothes. A magic item or two. A mind-shattering handgun called Ballista. Maybe a little flask for whatever he fancies at the time.

    Abilities: Vampire. Decently skilled gunman and boxer. That's about it.

    Backstory: Jack messed with his mind and tricked him into killing a friend of his. Then offered to get rid of the body in exchange for servitude.

    Description: Underneath the armor, the Knight is a fit, handsome young man, a charming twenty something fellow with close cut brown hair, blue eyes, and a white winning smile. The armor itself is black and dark gray, resembling conventional plate mail in the gothic style. Etched into the armor are glowing symbols and designs that emit neon light.

    Personality: The Neon Knight is brave, courteous, and in every respect the perfect chivalrous gentleman and knight. Of course, being a perfect gentleman doesn't make you perfect. With a tendency to be rash, combined with a tendency to try to be as self-reliant as possible, he can end up in a lot of trouble with no one to help him out. Also, he can be a bit insensitive to someone who doesn't understand or appreciate his beliefs and point of view. He believes he should be wandering the world righting wrongs, which sometimes means poking into other people's private business.
    Equipment: His only equipment is his suit of special armor, granted to him by the spirits of the Elemental Court of Air. The armor's functions will be covered in the abilities section. The armor is made from meteoric iron, smelted by being struck by lightning and cooled by being immersed in snow form the highest mountains, after being imbued with all of the elemental known as the noble gases, most important being an infusion of solar neon.
    Abilities:

    Swordsman's Honors - The Neon Knight is an accomplished swordsman. The Knight's style is based around fighting in armor, and employs a knightly long sword, also called an arming sword. It is a flexible and balanced style, favoring neither speed nor power above the other. Although trained in the use of shields, the Knight typically fights with only his sword. The Neon Knight graduated from his sword training at the top of his class, and is proud of his status.

    Gift of Air Control - The only ability the Neon Knight has outside of his armor is a minor affinity and control over air and associated elements, like water (rain), snow, lightning, and wind. This control isn't very well developed yet, but in theory could become stronger. The Knight prefers to rely on his armor.

    Built to Resist - The Neon Knight's armor is a powerful defensive tool, capable of turning blade and bullet aside with equal ease. It takes great strength of weapons of good power to breach his armor. In addition, the armor can be sealed against hostile environments, has a minor life support system, and has a layer of defenses against magical attacks as well. Most of these defenses draw from the suit's power, however, and if the Knight becomes overextended some of these systems may lose effectiveness or functionality.

    Swiss Army Suit - The Knight's armor also has a couple of miscellaneous utility functions common to military and survivalist gear, as well as energy manipulation capabilities, minor sensor suites, and other useful subsystems.

    Neon Glow - The Knight's armor emits a neon glow constantly, emitting from the glowing lines and designs etched into the suit. It provides a constant low illumination light source, with all the benefits and drawbacks that come from that. In addition, this glow or aura of neon light might activate electric gas-discharge technology. Currently, there isn't any in the Nexus, really, but who knows, maybe my hokey silly ideas might become popular some day. =P

    ROY G. BIV or Seven Ways to Kick Evil's Ass -The color of the Neon Knight's armor can vary and change, as different noble gases and different mixtures of the noble gases can be used to achieve different colors when used in neon lightning. The color of the armor actually determines some of its abilities, each different color being a different mode, spanning the visible spectrum.

    Red: The first color. The Red mode is the fastest of the armor colors, but also the weakest. The armor becomes lighter, easier to move in, and adds to the Knight's speed. This mode produces very little energy for the general power, strength, or defensive subsystems, however. Red is the default color of the armor, and the one always available to the Knight. The basic speed form.

    Each asterisk represents a 20% increase from ordinary operating capacity.

    Orange: The armor's second color is also its primary combat form. With more energy available for strength and defenses, the Orange form is safer to fight in, and more powerful, while still being very, very mobile.

    Yellow: The Yellow form is inherently more powerful than either the Red or Orange forms, simply generating more energy for use by the armor. The Yellow form also features a method of flight; yellow wings made of light can be generated by the armor, allowing the Knight to fight in the sky. However, the Yellow form is more fragile than the Orange form.

    Blue: The Blue form is an imperfect advanced combat form, favoring strength augmentation. Unfortunately, the power cost of strength is more costly than other augmentations, and the Blue form suffers from decreased performance across the board. The Blue form is only really useful for projections of raw strength, and the color needs perfection before it becomes a viable combat form.

    Indigo: The Indigo form is armor powerful and advanced Blue form, at least in theory. In execution, the Indigo form is what the Blue form should be: a strength favoring form still close to the general formula of the Green form, albeit with a further speed cost. The Indigo form actually favors defense over strength, and is one of the toughest forms available.

    Violet: Power incarnate, the Violet form turns the Knight into a treading behemoth. Very slow (a 20% speed augmentation is required to allow the Knight to move normally), the Violet form makes up for this with great resilience and power.

    Solar Edge - The Neon Knight's blade is a function of his armor, generated by transfusing solar neon in an unknown process into a blade of pure energy. The blade is mysteriously solid, and in general functions as one would assume a fictional energy sword would. The sword also receives additional energy reserves when energy is allocated to the strength function of the armor, increasing the blade's power; this is why that particular augmentation is so costly. The sword's color matches that of the armors.

    CURRENT FORMS AVAILABLE: Since the armor is currently damaged, only Red is reliably available.

    Backstory: A mysterious man who appeared basically out of nowhere, the Neon Knight is a questing hero who claims to have been empowered by the spirits of the Elemental Court of Air, in particular the Council of Noble Gasses, to champion and protect life across the multi-verse.
    Miscellaneous: The Knight enjoys quests and challenges, always seeking to do right, win honor, and protect life. He also seeks to improve himself and his armor.

    Description: A young country man with short, curly black hair. His features are angular but regular. His appearance is a bit unkempt and rough around the edges, but he isn't ugly. He typically wears durable but dirty work clothes. Boots, overalls, wool shirts and the like. His stuff is often work stained, worn, and a bit raggedy.
    Personality: William Henry is simple and honest. Unambitious and unimaginative, William Henry is convinced that good decent labor is the secret to happiness and success. He believes that there is a dignity to manual labor not found in more thinking professions, and has utter disdain for roguish or dishonest professions.
    Equipment: The tools of labor.
    Abilities:

    Honest Work - William Henry has great stamina and strength, allowing him to perform manual labor and feats of strength more readily than your average man.

    Backstory: A country fellow who left the family cabin to seek his fortune working in the city.
    Miscellaneous: Is totally not a plant for future communist/proletariat themed endeavors.

    Power Rating: C- to C
    Description: A cloaker is an intelligent, underground predator resembling a flying manta ray, with a pale underbelly and a black back. Facing the back, one might mistake the cloaker for a common black cloak, the white bone spurs resembling a clasp. One would not make such a mistake from the underside, which feature a wide razor toothed mouth and a set or red eyes. The long, spinal like whip tail ends in a sharp point, and is usually curled up underneath the cloaker when imitating a cloak.
    Personality: Initially aloof and aristocratic, but also viscous, hungry, and mean spirited, but crafty and cunning. Usually casual and cruel, but can be incited to terrible fierceness.
    Equipment: N/A.
    Abilities:

    Tooth and Nail - The cloaker's bone tail and teeth can rend prey and enemies quite easily. The bone spurs can also be used as lesser weapons.

    On Black Wings - The cloaker can fly and glide on the Underwinds of the world below.

    Feeding Moan - The sound of a cloaker's hunger can be terrifying to those that might fall underneath it. The cloaker can emit a subsonic moan, which has various mental, fear inspiring effects on those who hear it.

    One with Shadows - The cloaker has a minor paranormal ability to affect shadows, being able to manipulate them to its advantage.

    Backstory: The representative of Grumman Caverns, a commune of intelligent predators who have allied to better satisfy their all demanding hunger. Secretly, the Grumman Caverns predators hope to break up the great herds called "civilization" to ensure that prey species (i.e. anything not them) are easily taken. They disguise this base desire behind surprisingly complex and nuanced schemes. The representative to Undercity is always called Grumman, and every knew representative inherits this title when he gets the position.

    Miscellaneous: You see, the joke is that he isn't that funny, but it's really funny that he tries so hard to be funny yet isn't funny! And he's also kind of racists against foreigners in general, possibly. I have no idea why I created this fellow or why I continue to post as him.

    Class/Profession: Knight, Nutcracker Doll.

    Description: This is a well carved wooden nutcracker doll, with painted on eyes, features, and armor. He seems to be made of some high quality wood, with movable joints made with metal. He sits atop a faithful steed of a teapot made of fine whit china, with a prancing black horse painted on the side. The teapot hovers on a plate made of matching china.
    Personality: Knightly.
    Equipment:

    Armaments of the Royal Tea Table - A fork serves as the Knight's lance, and a breadknife as his blade. These are about as effective as their conventional, normal counterparts would be.

    Abilities:

    Knight of the Tea Table - The Knight is a skilled cavalryman, swordsman, and lancer. Aside from this fighting skill, he doesn't seem to have any particular powers of abilities.

    Backstory: Arrived one day out of the blue. His past and history seem to be a mystery.
    Miscellaneous: Doesn't like nuts.

    The Veldt - Tropes and cliches of Darkest Africa mixed with the supernatural. A grim, desperate savannah on the decline, stalked by the specters of drought. Also, occasionally Nazis.

    Gender: Male.

    Race/Species: Glassheads. Might just be magical humans. Strange folk.

    Age: Young.

    Alignment: Lawful Evil, probably.

    Class/Profession: He calls himself a 'procurer'. Light-mage is probably the closest approximation.

    Power Rating: C or B at his best.

    Description: Humanoid. Average height. Spindly, black, essentially skeletal hands, dotted with motes and patterns of glowing white dust. The rest of his skin is probably like this too.

    His face, if once human, appears to have been replaced with a perfectly symmetrical dome of polished glass. The back of his head is still that odd, rough skin.

    Typically wears high-end gentleman's clothes with swirling symbols and patterns emblazoned upon them. All glowing white or a bright blue.

    Personality: Thoughtful. He seems to taste each word that he exchanges, a quiet and supremely satisfied way of speaking. As is so common in young people: confidence. Much confidence. He also seems quite introspective.

    Despite his alignment, he's one of those villains with standards. Most of the time.

    Equipment:

    A cane tipped with a diamond orb. It just happens to be his Focus, the object used to control his spells.

    It works good for bludgeoning, too.

    Maybe something magical. His secondary Focus is what appears to be a glass dagger containing swirling motes of light.

    Maybe some restraints designed to hold beings of power. It's his business to procure things, and those things sometimes include people.

    Abilities: He routinely uses light to destroy people. His basic attack spell blasts away a person's flesh and bones and clothes, leaving a gaping, torn corpse that has been almost entirely solidified into some glowing material or polished glass. Very clean. Very disgusting, all the same. Sparkling, bulbous alien flowers almost immediately shoot up and starting their curling growth along the corpse.

    Other magic workings, too.

    Backstory: I don't feel like coming up with something really interesting. He's a professional criminal. I'll probably make the rest up as I go along.
