    Faction profile: The Legion of Travesty

    General Information: A diverse group of creatures that hail from the "Dark World", they seek to remind mankind as to why it originally feared the dark. Most members won't actually seek to kill their victims, just scare them; keyword is most, the other is kill, as some do not shy away from grievous bodily harm. Each is a twisted creature that normally should not exist, but does. Each disguises itself in an outfit that looks like a humanoid stitched up sock.
    Leader: The man with the umbrella. A man with skin completely white, eyes and a a mouth completely black, a red tuxedo, and always carries a black umbrella with him, opened and above him like it was always raining. He is incredibly powerful, capable of warping his minions almost anywhere in the Nexus, walking through solid matter as if it didn't exist, and ripping holes in space-time without breaking a sweat.

    Gaius-Description:
    ...nightmarish warrior. The warrior is about eleven feet tall, with dark-blue skin, no lips, welded-on armor covering the arms, waist down area, and a plate upon the head, and the body is covered with numerous arrows and partially broken spears that have stuck themselves within
    An incredibly powerful warrior addicted to the thrill involved in the destruction of objects. Not poetic like his brother, but is somewhat musically inclined. (Deceased)

    Kestral the Stalker-Description:
    One is a torso and head, but no bottom half. It has the head of a utahraptor, three sets of arms (two sets are small regular human hands, while the last pair are massive gorrila ones which it uses to walk around on), dangeling entrails from the hole where the bottom half should be, and it has an exo-skeleton (not like an insect, but bones on the outside of the flesh).
    A pervert who loves to stalk people, especially the pretty women. It's really creepy too, considering he likes to get his internal organs in their face to hear them scream. Squick.

    Grell-
    One looks like a midget with massive, fleshy club arms, and two frog heads.
    A brute who is incredibly stupid, let's just leave it at that. (Deceased)

    Kilroy Reagis-Description:
    One is a centaur of sorts. The human part has six arms, each wielding a mace, long black hair, and an obsidian horned helmet fused to its head. The animal half is a hairless spider colored yellow with sickly-green dots all over.
    A warrior with no battles to fight, he's just along for a chance to pick a fight and screw around with people.

    Meloniane Kera-Description:
    Meanwhile the one who birthed all the spider-things bursts the rest of its disguise, revealing its form to all. The center/head has a mushroom cap design, and is a pink fleshy color, covered in yellow eyes. Underneath the cap are three rows of jagged teeth, eight serpentine tongues, and two human legs.
    A lady of class and taste, enjoys classical music and romance stories. Also gives birth to dozens of human-headed spider crabs that serve her every whim, but she still cares for them.

    Cheswick Oaken-Description:
    The other horror is halfway emerged in the floor, and has revealed itself as a man-shaped tree with numerous gnarled branches serving as limbs, a face devoid of features save six red circles, and much shorter gnarled branches atop the head.
    Normally dwells within the Misty Woods in the Dark World, joined up with the Legion for a chance at living like his ancestors. Very protective of friends, and a reasonable being.

    A trio of goblins running a company.

    Krugzim Greencheek

    Gender: Male
    Race: Goblin
    Age: 25
    Profession: Miner
    Power level: 2 or E
    Description:
    Krugzim is a thin, lanky grey-skinned goblin with a mullet, pointy nose, large ears, large fangs and red eyes. He usually wears thick, black clothes with a large hood. He can often be seen in multi-layered protective clothing when working underground.
    Equipment and abilities:
    Krugzim is a skilled miner and knows a lot about working underground. He has a variety of tools related to that line of work, as well as a score of miners employed by his company. He has absolutely no combat training and like most goblins he will run away, hide or surrender at the first sign of a fight.
    Backstory:
    Krugzim was born in a large goblin colony in the central mountain range of the continent, the same one as Reelshka and Grimzig and joined the Miner's Guild. At some point, they all decided to team up and sell their services outside of their colony. Dipsnig Razortooth, the leader of Neutralist Organization, hired them to dig a network of tunnels for his group and that's how they ended up in the Nexus.
    Miscellaneous: Due to an accident involving monkeys some months ago, he's now nervous when outside.

    Reelshka Trollfinger

    Gender: Female
    Race: Goblin
    Age: 24
    Profession: Architect
    Power Rating: 2 or E
    Description:
    Reelshka is a slim goblin woman with light brown skin, delicate fangs and yellow eyes who wears her grey hair in a braid. She tends to wear practical, brown and grey clothes and usually carries a sketchbook with her.
    Equipment and Abilities:
    Reelshka is an architect and a bit of an amateur artist. Her preferred models are surface animals. Like the other goblins here, she has no combat ability to speak of.
    Backstory: Reelshka was born in the same goblin colony as the other two and is in fact Krugzim's cousin. She was the one who came up with the idea of making a business and leaving, as she wasn't feeling good in her home colony, thinking it restricted her and opressed her.
    Miscellaneous: Reelshka likes fuzzy animals including cats and foxes. This irritates her collegues somewhat.



    Grimzig Ironpick

    Gender: Male
    Race: Goblin
    Age: 26
    Profession: Engineer
    Power level: 2 or E
    Description:
    Grimzig is a rather large and a bit overweight goblin with pale gray skin. He has spiky hair, sideburns, blunt, short fangs, flat nose and orange eyes. He tends to wear a shirt, trousers and a vest, all with a lot of pockets, and a toolbelt. He als tends to have protective goggles on his head.
    Equipment and abilities:
    Grimzig is a true goblin engineer - inventive, clever and prone to forgetting about safety and hygiene when working on a new invention. As above, he has no combat ability, but he's not quite as cowardly as other goblins and can swing his heavy wrench in a nasty fashion. He has a collection of various tools, function of many of which he has little to no idea about.
    Backstory:
    Joined Krugzim's and Reeshka's company because he thought there'd be less of a competition as far as inventions go in the surface world.
    Miscellaneous: None

    Assorted goblins: NPC miners, builders, demolition experts and mechanics working for the trio.

    Faction Profile:

    The Queendom of Scarsil

    Leader: Queen Agony, though she has a Grand Conclave to advise her and act as her most powerful servants.

    The Grand Conclave: Several different aspects of the Queendom are run by these individuals. They are her eyes, ears, and arms throughout the empire. As there are seven different Conclave members, so I'm going to write up their character sheets over the next few days.

    Scarsil is an expansive, multi-world empire that spans many lands and nations, all brought beneath the will of the Queen. Her countless armies are currently fighting at least three different minor wars across multiple planets. Her base of power lies at the edge of the Multiverse, upon a former wasteland planet now converted into a capital for her nation.

    Her people use a variety of technology and magic, though her main armies focus on the utilization of overwhelming arcane might. Technomagic is used heavily in everyday life, and the closer one gets to the capital, the more luxurious the life of the common citizen will be. At the edge of the empire, well, those lands get the least attention for the moment, and those who live there tend to be either dirt poor or of a less-than-scrupulous nature.

    The Queen, for the longest time now, has been seeking to make the Nexus the home of her capital. I suppose we'll just see how that goes.


    Important Agencies of the Queendom:

    The Queen's Army and the Queen's Air Force

    Founded and led by the great Lord Arthur Pendragon, an alter-Earth version of the legendary King and member of the Grand Conclave, the Queen's legions are a force to be reckoned with. They utilize Technomagical vehicles capable of tremendous, firey destruction combined with heavily armed and armoured infantry. Practically every aspect of the Army is enchanted, be it with protection spells or spells designed to assist in the destruction of enemy forces. These technomagic vehicles are typically legged rather than wheeled, and can range from small recon units to towering engines of magical might.

    As I'm in something of a hurry, and I don't expect to see full scale combat between the Army and Nexus forces anytime soon, I shall go into more extensive detail another time.

    The Queen's Men

    The secret police, special investigators, and wide-ranging agents of the Queen's will. They serve High Inquisitor Byron Katch, who in turn speaks to the Queen. They are kept under tighter control than the Army itself. They also use more advanced technology, as well as less magic.

    This organization is adaptable. They seek out traitors and dissenters, retrieve objects of interest for the Queendom, perform clandestine operations (some of which can have one shot at their very mention) and so forth.

    The Queen's Men can also act as first-contact agents with sentient peoples.


    The Custodians

    A race of hawk-headed giants from an Egyptian-styled world, they wield great magical and physical power. The Queen, after failing to conquer them, managed to talk them into a deal: if some of their soldiers act as the Queen's personal guard, the Queen would provide them with much-needed resources. These behemoths also act as guards in the Queen's largest cities.

    Aliases: The Queen's Hound, High Inquisitor
    Gender: Male
    Race/Species: Devil
    Age: 67 human years, though he looks significantly younger whilst he is still humanoid.
    Alignment: Lawful Neutral, though he's gone through a couple alignment changes over the years, and is always questioning his own morals.
    Class/Profession: Aristocrat/Agent/Inquisitor
    Power Rating: D/C with standard preparations. Though he tends to find specialty tools for special needs.
    Description: Tall, swarthy, almost invariably dressed in a brown button-down uniform emblazoned with the a series of waved, curving stripes at the shoulder. The whole outfit runs down to his boots, and he tends to wear simple, practical clothes underneath.

    His skin is a dark green in coloration, and four short horns extend from the back of his head, pointing in different directions. Other than these features, he is mostly humanoid, though in an emotional state he can grow more monstrous in appearance. He has no hair on his head. His eyes, when normal, are a blue-brown. His features are smooth, but angled, in composition. This face is human-looking, albeit green and horned.

    Personality: Loyal, arrogant, deceitful, patient, pessimistic, vengeful, grudge-holder, opportunist, short-tempered. He tends to be really compassionate only towards his friends, which today consist entirely of the Grand Conclave. He has a long-standing rivalry with Sir Arthur, though it is a friendly one. He is exceptionally polite. He once had a relationship with Erin, but they had a falling-out a couple years back.

    Equipment: A few random magical items, a pistol, his clothes, probably some survival supplies, and perhaps a personal effect or two.

    Abilities: He has a variety of rogueish and diplomatic skills at his disposal, as well as a high aptitude to aim ranged weapons. He is not well versed in close combat. He can do some minor magics and can figure out how to work most magical items. And... well, any other abilities an Inquisitor would have. Tech abilities, technomagical understanding, etc. Finally, his strength increases somewhat if he shifts back towards full Devil form, but his intelligence lowers.

    Background: A devil, born to fight as a footsoldier upon the Infernal Battlefields in the Lower Planes, sought a purpose greater than himself. A life of rage and eternal bloodshed bored him, and truly, he was far more intelligent than the norm for his devilish variety.

    So he ran, escaped, dodged any traitor-hunters sent after him and came upon a burgeoning nation: The Queendom. And so he's served her ever since, steadily climbing in the ranks, and eventually, founding his own agency to protect the kingdom, the Queen's Men. He's become deeply endeared to the other members of the Grand Conclave, since they've been formed.


    Lord Arthur Pendragon, Commander-in-Chief of the Queen's armed forces.


    Nerizene Boyce, Archdruid of the Conclave, head of Agriculture, Head of Zoology, and so forth. She's in charge of the general things that deal with nature.

    Carter Chapman, head of Exploration, Archaeology, History, and similar aspects of the Queendom.

    Edwin Stones, resident Magi-Scientist in the conclave and captain of industry. He puts forth his considerable mental faculties in pursuit of superior technology and scientific knowledge for the empire.

    Earius, Edwin's counterpart in magical dealings. She is head of the Mages Association in the empire, and focuses on development of magic for use in both military application and everyday life. Her people sometimes assist the Queen's Men in espionage.

    Erin Vapsid, Head of Economic and Trade Welfare. She keeps an eye on the money, the commerce, and anything related to those two.



    And that should be all for now. I plan on developing this faction profile over a period of time.

    Personality: Buried mental problems. Generally just wants to invent random things whenever he wants. Luckily, he empathizes well,so everything he's made has been helpful.
    Equipment: Multiple parts and pieces that he can reconfigure into almost anything. A magic lab coat that enhances his abilities and suppresses his mental problems.
    Backstory: Nabick was always very inventive, even for a gnome. Unfortunately, his inventions worked all too often, so he was ousted from the Inventor's College in Ironcogg.

    Description: A dark grey and muddy red owlbear baby with shiny eyes and backwards curving devil horns above his eyes.
    Personality: Naieve, curious, and generally childish, due to having a young orc's mind shoved into a baby fiendish owlbear. Craves attention.
    Equipment: Just a little leather diaper/loincloth.
    Backstory: Nyorg was a young orc who never stopped getting into trouble. One day, on a dare, he snuck into an old witch's house. Unfortunately, he accidentally fell through her window onto her and killed her. with her last breath, she cursed him to wander forever as a clumsy baby owlbear. wandering the woods, he was almost eaten by his tribe before he was saved by a celtic warrior with a time traveling stone.

    Alias: He Who Seeks for Reunion, though he doesn't even know it yet. He has a number of fake identities to avoid detection by the authorities on Earth. The 'Dempty' last name isn't even a legitimate one, simply a fake alias that Johnathan's father made because he thought it would be funny.

    Gender: Male

    Race: Human, somehow.

    Age: Mid-late twenties, I think.

    Alignment: Chaotic Neutral, which could really snap towards either end of the Alignment pool at any time. He's in a bit of a moral Limbo right now.

    Class/Profession: Previously Psychopath/Soldier/Environmental Worker, currently drunkard/vagabond-without-a-purpose.

    Power Rating: Probably around D.

    Description: Average height, currently gaunt face, fair skin, very light blonde hair. He gets buzzcuts usually, though. He's physically fit, but not really slim.

    His ears are cropped close to his head. His facial features are short and solid.

    Personality: Not too long ago, he was nothing more than your run-of-the-mill fictional psychopath, who believed in his own little unoriginal purpose for mass murder. Y'know, freeing people from the misery of everyday existence, or some such. But after a certain encounter with a certain Jack Empty, John abandoned what he thought to be his purpose. He abandoned a lot of things. Though that base sadistic hunger for blood yet remains, it's starting to disappear. And John's life is starting to take a new direction. One that will be very, very bad for the multiverse in the long run.

    At his most basic, he's still a simple, angsty teenager who misses his mother. This teenager sought but an outlet for his inborn rage. A trait inherited from his father, maybe. Until now. Now, he's just a depressed, confused young fellow who, after clinging to his supposed righteous purpose for so long, has finally admitted to his own insanity. And then left it behind.

    He tends to be a tad obsessive and unstable, keeping his feelings in check only when things are going his way. Otherwise, he tends to betray his emotions when in a bad spot.

    Probably add more later, or just develop him as I go along. Or both.

    Equipment: None. At the moment, no knives, no weapons, nadda but the clothes on his back.

    Abilities: That of an above-average human soldier, as well as a practiced psychopathic killer. Of course, without any weapons, this doesn't amount to much in the Nexus.

    Also, he may not be able to die, or at least, not permanently. Not really clear on it yet.

    Backstory: I'm not really clear on it yet. Though for players who care, he is the bastard child of Jack Empty. And rather important to my little Holders mythos that I've introduced to the Nexus.

    Miscellaneous: To this day, he's killed precisely 538 people. That number is probably insignificant to you. As it should be, for the sake of sanity.

    I'd like to register a new character. Duh...

    Erias Goldtiger

    Alias: Eri (nickname, only for friends) He has no title so far.

    Gender: Male.

    Race: Human.

    Age: Late twenties.

    Alignment: Chaotic Good. Tends to lean toward his own way instead of anyone elses.

    Class/Profession: Explorer. He travels the world in search of dragons in order to catalouge the many species and study their behaivior. He studies rune magic as a form of defense against the more hostile ones.

    Power Rating: D

    Description: Erias looks to be of a stronger build, although he is no great warrior. He usually dresses in a blue poet shirt with red pants with a renaissance style vest. He falls a bit taller than average height for a human. His hair's about medium length for a guy. He always wears a pair of black gloves with red embroidery on them. His face looks like a young man's. It has a few large scars.

    Personality: Erias doesn't like the laws of the cities. He prefers to go his own way, doing what he thinks is right. He is cocky and quite often sarcastic. He will jokingly play and joke with anyone, it doesn't matter if they're a king, peasant, or monster. He trusts people quite quickly, and people are friendlies first, enemies only when they become a threat.

    To the first to meet him, he seems quite childish and stupid, although once you see him in his ballpark, ie; in the woods, on the hunt for a dragon, he comes across as very serious and intelligent.

    (Keep in mind, this is a young character in terms of time created and played. I still need to develop him some more.)

    Equipment: Erias carries his journal and a writing utensil wherever he goes, as well as host of potions, runes, and other tools used in his trade of dragonology. They are in pouches attached to his belt and his vest. he also wears a sun hat when needed. He also carries a longsword in a sheath at his side.

    Abilities: As I've said before, Erias practices rune magic in order to defend himself against hostile dragons. He has a number of defense and stealth spells, but few that can harm or kill anything.

    Backstory: Erias was born to a regular family. His big brother was a blacksmith and his mother was the woman of the house, and the two were the ones who kept the house. Erias's father was an explorer, and rarely saw the family. Erias enjoyed more than anything seeing what his father brought back from faraway lands, and he pretended with his sibling that he was a great explorer, seeing the world like his father.

    On his 10th birthday, his father returned with a strange egg. He gave it to Erias as a token of his journey to a hot island, where jungles dominate much of the surface and the oceans thrive with colorful fish. Erias, in excitement, accidentally dropped the egg into his brother's forge where he assumed it was birnt to a crisp. His father got him a baby chicken instead.

    In 3 weeks, the chicken was full grown, and a strange creature crawled out of the forge. Erias recognised it as a bipedal dragon, one that hatched from the egg dropped in the forge. It ate the stupid chicken, and it became Erias's pet. Erias raised it as his familliar, and it soon hunted on it's own.

    His father returned one day and saw Erias's dragon. He saw that his son was gifted with the ability to speak to and understand dragons. From then on, he accompoanied his father on the journies.

    Erias learned from his father and became an explorer himself. The world is there to be explored, and the dragons are there to be studied. Some day, he may just find them all.

    Misc.: Erias has a dragon fammiliar named Redwing. He is very intelligent and acts as a companion on his journies. He also understands how to track, read maps, and use other navigational instruments. Although few can recognise his species, he is a Pygmy Marsupial dragon. He has a bright crimson coloring and is still a hatchling, although he is about 14 years old. Occasionally he rides on Erias's shoulder.

    Description: Oswin is a large 7'6", and is generally a very imposing man. He wears very large and heavy red and gold armor. Picture.
    Equipment: Oswin's main weapon is a 10' silver lance on a chain. He will throw the lance at his opponent, then quickly reel it in with the chain. ((Attack Image)) His alternate is a large silver throwing axe, that returns after thrown. Both are extremely hard to break, and a normal human cannot wield, or even carry them. Oswin's armor covers his entire body, and weighs about 400 lbs. It is very thick, and very resistant to magic and other energy attacks.
    Abilities: In the way of abilities, Oswin merely has his strength, his near invincibility due to his armor, and his skill with the weapons he uses.
    Backstory: Oswin was teleported to this world in order to save his life. His army was under attack by a group of assassins, led by the notorious Jaffar. The assassins were too powerful for his sleeping army, and the great Archsage Athos attempted to teleport him and a group of his personal guards to safety. As the spell was cast, however, Jaffar himself began atttacking Athos. This distracted Athos, and as a result Oswin was sent here instead, his guard split up, looking for him.

    Description: Like all Marraenoloths, Mark resembles an extremely skinny human with bleak eyes. However, instead of a grey, drab sack-like robe most of his kind wears, he prefers a stylish, if rather dirty and worn coat, also with hood.
    Personality: Mark has an upbeat and relaxed attitude. He doesn't understand why all his brethren are to bent on spreading corruption all over the multiverse or manipulating Tanar'ri and Baatezu against each other. He believes everything would be better if they just relaxed and stopped worrying so much. He likes hanging out with people, drinking beer, playing chess and writing stories.
    Equipment: Mark only has his coat, a cheesboard, a set of figures and a boat hidden in an extradimensional storage. He tends to carry the oar around with him though, for an inexplicable reason.
    Abilties: Despite his appearance, Mark is smart. As a Marraenoloth, he has a good sense of direction and memory. His most potent ablitiy is his fear-inducing gaze. He can also summon lesser daemons for help and cast some minor spells.
    Backstory: Mark was born on Gehenna and spent his early existence as a ferryman on River Styx. However, as an incredibly atypical Yugoloth, he was something of an embarassment for his extremely gloomy and scheming brethren. This caused him to pack his stuff and leave, to everybody's surprise. Despite severing most of the ties to his home plane, he remained a mercenary for other fiendish races. Recently, he's entered into the service of a General Baalthazar who ordered him to keep an eye out on his daughter.

    Alignment: True Neutral, though he tends to lean both ways. Basically, "Whatever you want it to be." He might still have some moral principles, though.

    Class/Profession: Espionage Expert/Spy/Shapeshifter

    Power Rating: D/C, with what he has on him usually.

    Description: Anything he wants. Though when off-the-job or speaking with someone who knows his identity, he'll typically wear a V-For-Vendetta Guy Fawkes mask, a cheekily grinning facade that he finds amusing. Other than that, nothing is consistent.

    Personality: Here is where he has problems. He changes so often, becomes others so often, he can't seem to remember what he was really like when it all began. As a default, he tends to be cheeky, patient, and enjoys inciting anger in people. He likes mind-games, games in general, and is rather intelligent. He often drowns himself in simple pleasures. For what reasons, he doesn't say.

    He tends to mimic or copy the last person he became. Cheery, short-tempered, mild-mannered, hearty, friendly, whatever.

    Rather a sad existence, not really being someone. Keyword 'one'.

    Equipment: He keeps a safe house somewhere in the Nexus, a place for weapons, relaxation, supplies, and hiding out. His inventory is always changing to accomadate his personal whims or the next assignment. What he needs, he buys or steals.

    Abilities: Complete duplication of another's body, essence, spirit and sometimes mind. He can shift forms at will, and does so regularly. This ability seems to be unlimited. For most or all intents and purposes, he becomes the creature entirely.

    He possesses some skill with a wide range of weapons and combat types, though mostly firearms. He can fight in hand-to-hand combat well enough, and is typically very quick and agile.

    He can completely cloak himself by using chameolon-esque shapes.

    He can only become something vaguely humanoid.

    He can steal your mind and personality, like a doppelganger, except without the brain-eating part.

    He knows a lot of guys.

    He cannot duplicate mind or magical or superhuman abilities. However, he has some illusionary magics, and can use them to fool people into thinking he can do other those things.

    He has a surprisingly large knowledge of Earth pop culture.

    His creator might add more later, depending.

    Backstory: Not much. He showed up in the Nexus a few months back, going into public only when absolutely necessary. It's just now he's starting find some work.

    The hoodie is one with a zipper through the middle, with pockets in the front. His hoodie is black, with gold and ash gray decorations of typical urban styling; skulls, aces of spades, playing cards of all aces, baroque tooling, that sort of thing. Across the chest are bold white letters of the word "FAIL'D" in capital letters, with an "XD" emoticon at a diagonal near the D. On the forearms of the sleeves are two images.     The Vorpal Blade: Yes, the actual blade that went "snicker-snack" in Lewis Carrol's poem "Jabberwocky". The handle part of the sword is made of iron, and is really simple in design. The blade itself seems to glow an intense golden-yellow color that somehow doesn't give off illumination.

    This blade is enchanted with the ability to cut through any physical substance that the wielder chooses. Thus, theoretically, the wielder can make the blade deal completely non-lethal damage, as well as cut through opponent's hide as easily as a hot knife through butter. However, the ability does not affect non-physical substances, such as magic and souls (unless they somehow became a physical substance).

    The Tinderbox: An artifact from the fairy tale "The Tinderbox" by Hans Christian Andersen. It is in the form of a brass Zippo lighter with black clockwork tooling.

    The Tinderbox can summon up to three dogs, one each time you flick the lighter. All three look like fiendish doberman pinschers, each one larger, stronger, and more demonic looking than the last. All of them are around the size of a man, however. They seem to have a bit of a fire theme, no doubt due to the nature of the object they are bound to. They are capable of speech, have keen senses and great strength, and can seemingly instantaneously retrieve any objects their master wishes.

    Armorweave Hooded Jacket: His hoodie. It is enchanted to where it acts as a set of magical full plate armor, while still retaining the qualities of fabric clothing. The enchantment extends all the way down his pants also, essentially completely armoring him.

    Spidersilk Gloves and Socks: His fingerless gloves and socks. They magically fit any size. These items give him the ability to run up walls and ceilings, also allowing him to cling to surfaces like spiders.

    In addition to his athleticism, he has an enchantment on him that increases his speed, strength, and toughness slightly. He is quite smart and clever. He has quite a bit of practice with the sword, and he is quite proficient in both melee weapons and ranged weapons. He has some experience finding, avoiding, and disarming traps. He can be quite sneaky, and can take on disguises quite well. Thanks to both his intelligence and his notes, he has quite the collection of knowledge, although at first it is relatively limited. He has a slight aptitude for magic, but so far the extent of his abilities is basically a telekinetic push, and not even a big one.

Needless to say, this attitude does not make him popular with the wizards and warlocks he studies. Ilyena is rather used to treating people like puzzles to be solved, and marks to be robbed. With his few friends, though, he's quite loyal and would go to the ends of the earth for them.
    Equipment: Ilyena has a small collection of magic items that he's either not through studying or can't bear to part with, sealed away in a bag of holding. Aside from that, Ilyena has a jaw-droppingly extensive catalogue of spells on his laptop, and has memorized a decent portion of them. He does a lot of traveling, so his possessions are limited as far as clothes and such go.
    Abilities: Ilyena is a formidable spellcaster, in that he has a spell for every occasion and can modify and combine his spells when nescessary.

    I just realized that I have no idea where Kenyon's description would be back on this forum, if it's still here. That, and most of the people around here now probably aren't familiar with him.

    Description:

    Kenyon is commonly seen wearing a light grey military coat over a blue, short-sleeved tunic, dark gray pants, and black leather boots. Has a bandolier, with several types of bullets and shots, draped across his shoulder, and a medium-sized satchel at his side.

    Backstory:

    The land where Kenyon comes from, Sarundia, is an interesting place. In an area known for legendary magic users, not a single person in Sarundia has been able to learn or utilize magic themselves. There have been many legends explaining why. Some say Sarundia was cursed in ancient times, so that no one born on the land would learn the arcane arts. Others say the first people to settle here were refugees from another land that exiled all non-magic users. Whatever the reason, the culture of the Sarundians has centered more around mechanics and gunpowder than magic.

    The same went for Kenyon's father, Darryn Trammel, one of the land's greatest inventors and a legendary gunsmith. Darryn designed much of the weaponry currently used by the Sarundian military. When he was finally old enough to carry a weapon, young Kenyon would help his father demonstrate the newest tools he had developed.

    As he got older, Kenyon showed a great deal of skill with much of his father's equipment, especially the difficult to use long-range rifles. It was at this time that Darryn, noticing his son's affinity to rifled weaponry, made "Soulstriker," his greatest development to date.

    After a brief stint in the military, Kenyon was bitten by the Adventurer's bug by age 22. With only Soulstriker, a sword, and his technological knowledge, he went out into the wild to make a name for himself and the Trammel family.

    Common Knowledge:

    -Accent best described as American, Southern.
    -Despite his tall frame, Kenyon is surprisingly agile.
    -Loves a good drink. Give him a beer, and he'll be your best friend. However, don't give him a Dragon's Liver Buster if you wish for him to stay conscious.
    -Due to his Sarundian heritage, Kenyon is an avid tinkerer. He is enthralled by anything mechanical.
    -Since nearly all Sarundians are unable to perform magic, enchanting weaponry is an expensive business there, left generally for elite warriors and the nobility. Due to that, Kenyon and his father invented several new types of shot for Sarundian muskets and rifles. Using their chemical and mechanical knowledge, they were able to create shots that could engulf their target in flame, encase them in ice, even directly attack them without killing. Kenyon keeps many of these shots in his bandolier and satchel.

    Notes:

    -An apparent side effect to the Sarundian curse, Kenyon seems to have strange reactions to healing or buffing magic that is cast on him. Drinking a simple healing potion has been known to make him violently ill, and healing spells seem to cause him as much pain as the wounds they are healing. As such, he avoids healing magic as much as possible, preferring non-magical alternatives, despite the fact that they may hurt or leave scarring.

    Attitude: Laid back, imaginative, and a procrastinator. Likes to be underestimated, and is very energetic. When under stress, he switches between his usual attitude, and taking advantage of the situation as an excuse to let out a bit of his bottled up anger, frustration, sadness, and general hatred of pretty much everything around him. Prefers to do and learn things until he's mastered doing them, then move on and never do them again, unless they're fun. Tries to be nice and friendly, and outwardly is, but deep inside he can always find a reason to hate everyone he sees. Pessimistic, then optimistic, witty, then sarcastic, open, then closed, poetic, then bored, Jacky can't be summed up by any words other than, "Sure-wait, what?"

    Weight: 189 lbs, though tends to lose weight over vacation due to forgetting to eat. A schedule reminds him to do so, usually.
    Weaponry: Keeps some simple firearms at home for protection, as well as a titanium crowbar and highway hooligan, toys around with different traps and weapons, but always keeps a pocket knife on hand if he can.
    Background: Jacky Paper was born the son of two Ren-Fair class geeks in Kansas City, Kansas, right after one left the other on the altar. Ouch. Since then, his life has been nothing but 'what the hell' moments, ranging from blowing up wolf spider nests with his friends, to getting repeatedly shot in the hip by his step father, to accidentally killing a man who tried to run him over for telling a store owner when the man stole a watch. Jacky once had a dog named Puff, but when the dog died, he decided to just pretend the dog had been replaced by a dragon. He knew the dragon wasn't real, but talking to an imaginary dragon when nobody was looking was better than talking to air when no one was looking.
    Multiple people thought he had mental, emotional, and anger issues (which he really didn't), and diagnosed him with everything from ADHD to aspergers to schizophrenzia (a good bit of which weren't even real *cough*ADHD*cough*). Jacky was put on multiple different cocktails of antidepression and chemical imbalance curing 'medicines', all of which would actually give him the issues they were supposed to cure, and then some! When that didn't work, Jacky was sent to multiple different psychologists, which eventually lead to his fear of psychologists, and of anyone who wanted to know anything about him. Asking Jacky his name would get someone garbage canned. Jacky bought himself an XboX when he was young, but his parents decided that the games he was playing (HALO, Splinter cell, COD) were what was causing his anger (even though they had been lessening his anger and the nonexistent issues had 'started' long before he got the XboX) and then went on a string of groundings, disallowing video games, after school activities, camping trips, and the use of light bulbs.
    Jacky found solace in drawing in a leather sketchbook his mother had given him right before she died of breast cancer and anemia, but that ended when a doberman bit his arm, severing most of the nerves in his wrist and making it hard to draw. He then got himself a laptop, and since then has earned most of his money typing stories, newspaper articles, and poems for children.
    Of course, his life being full of 'what the hell moments', Jacky just had to start randomly producing arcane energy from his dreams, and pissing off pretty much everyone in Chicago who had a gun when he saved a group of teenagers who were about to be killed by a drug dealer.

    Description: He's a very tall and broad looking man. He has brown hair and slightly brown, amber, somewhat reptilian eyes. He's usually smiling and in a good mood. He can also be seen wearing simple clothes.

    Equipment: A large broadsword and several pouches to carry rations and other things he may need to.

    Powers: The only powers he has is being slightly stronger than normal and being able to cover himself in strong, golden dragon scales.

    Backstory: Garth was born of mixed parenthood in a small farming town out in some forgotten land. While his mother was human his father was five eighths of a dragon making Garth five sixteenths of a dragon. He had a good and normal childhood until a red dragon destroyed his town because they wouldn't or couldn't pay a tribute of money to him. This happened while he was at the age of eight years. He was able to escape but was left an orphan. After traveling alone for a few months he was eventually taken in by an orphanage and was raised there for the next seven years. After that he joined the military and fought in two different wars over the period of the next eight years. He then left not liking how the military could be so callous at times and just leave conquered areas to die. Garth joined a dragon hunting group but left after a few years not liking the way they did business. He then spent seven years adventuring but mainly focused on ways to improve himself and hunt down dragons. He then found his way to the Nexus and joined GLoG and has been here ever since.

    Description: A dwarf with dark brown hair. He has a large braided beard with short cut hair. He has well crafted plate armor that has a tint of blue in it. He wears two pendants, one with a comet and the other with a upside down hammer within a lighting bolt. He is usually wearing a helmet with a visor over his hazel eyes. Kadogurraq is only about 4" foot but is fairly muscular.

    Backstory: Kadogurraq Skyhammer is from the Fallen Comet Clan. This is a clan that believes that there first ancestors where cast down here by the gods to live on the land. Thus they worship both the earth and the sky, the place they came from and the place they now dwell. In there culture the highest valued rocks are those that have fallen from the sky. Kadogurraq is from a family that has fallen from grace within the clan and Kadogurraq has a plan to fix that. He plans to find a meteorite and bring it back.

    Personality: A fairly nice guy. Usually pretty stern but is kind as well. Probably something like an old mentor kind of personality.

    Backstory: Sinister Penguin was a normal penguin until he mysteriously gained sapience one day, through means unknown. Since then, he has been running around doing odd jobs and living up to his name. (More tom come, maybe.)
    Personality: Sinister Penguin is extremely malevolent and mildly insane. He has a penchant for death and destruction, and can be rather overdramatic at times. He also has a great deal of difficulty taking anything seriously, up to and including life-or-death situations.

    Johannes is a massive mountain of a man, 6'6", broad and muscular, with long blonde hair, pale skin and a full beard. He has pale eyes that hover between grey and blue depending on the lighting, and, while handsome, he has a somewhat rough cast to his features, and pays little attention to how he looks beyond keeping himself clean and vaguely presentable.

    Equipment and Abilities:
    Johannes has very little in the way of possessions. Perpetual wanderer that he is, all his clothes are simple, made from homespun wool or linen, usually donated or given to him as gifts in thanks for slaying a monster or running off angry bandits. He also has very little need for money, and carries only a small handful of coins in a pouch on his belt. His only permanent possession is his greatsword, a monolithic weapon of black iron almost as tall as a man. Though simply, even crudely made, with a plain boarhide grip and scabbard, the sword has an ancient look to it, never needs sharpening, and has not yet broken, despite the supernatural stresses it has been put under.

    Johannes himself possesses monstrous strength and fortitude. He can lift tremendous loads, resist blows that would stagger a normal man, or indeed, evaporate them into fine mist. The upper limits of Johannes' abilities are very loosely defined. He seems to wax and wane in strength seemingly at random, at times simply appearing as a very strong, yet ordinary, man, and at others demonstrating almost superhero capability.

    Backstory:
    The origins of Johannes are shrouded in mystery and myth. A 'foreigner' from a land with a name no one knows, a language only he speaks, and no other natives or travelers in sight; not even Johannes seems entirely sure who he is and where he came from. The first time he appeared in the Nexus was by a coast plagued by attacks from a monstrous kraken, which destroyed merchant ships and ate fisherman whole. An old lighthouse man woke one morning in his house by the beach to find a tall, blonde man with long hair, soaking wet and wearing only ragged woolen trousers, dragging the kraken up the beach by its tentacles. He asked if he could stay a short while to dry off and possibly have breakfast.

    From that day forward Johannes has lived the wanderer's lifestyle, never staying in one village long and stopping only to help those in need, slaying marauding dragons or moving heavy furniture with equal enthusiasm. Johannes tends to avoid the larger cities and problems of the Nexus. In his most recent ventures of note, he confronted the lich Calublufiok in Taverna Generica, which led to his being mind-controlled by Calublufiok and death at the hands of one of Draken's world eating beasties. Several months later, however, he reappeared, seemingly unaffected by his apparent demise. Since then, he's avoided the Nexus at large almost entirely, keeping out of the spotlight.

    The Wand - Just a harmless walking stick: This multipurpose tool can be used to stand on, poke things, or be transformed into a scythe. It counts as both physical and ghostly/ethereal.

    Alkania was born not long enough ago to a cursed Cleosepha Danir and Zophiel, and promptly stolen away to another dimension by faeries.
    She was rescued, in what was longer to her than to the rescuers, but it wasn't long after that her family split up. Her mother had to return to her own world, and her father was occupied aiding a dear friend at the ocean, which Alkania could barely approach.
    When the noble who had given them shelter died, the child Alkania ended up living on the streets with a band of intelligent lizards and malfunctioning machines. They lived off petty crime, complementing each others' needs.


    When things went wrong and no amount of batteries or recalibration could help one of her mechanical friends, she took them to the GLoG, where she became a member for a while, learning to heal people. Then her idol Reinholdt left, and after an argument with Quinn, she had no reason to stay.
    It was earlier that she had met a creature of shadow that took her through time and worlds, and gave her a way to extend her life and live once again at normal speeds.
    It was even earlier that she had participated in a mission to protect some far off place she'd never heard of, and Alkania first killed someone.
    She was one of the powers who answered Aequitus's prayers and led to the founding of VIGIL, where she was a member as long as it was active.

    Then she was shot by a sniper. She died, more more importantly, she Radiated then Shattered.

    The Fae were native creatures of the seventh planet in their solar system, which had a rather larger star than the nexus usually does.
    The Earthly fae were those who adapted to urban, civilized life alongside humanity. The Outer fae were those who left the planet rather than change. In a war much later, the Outer fae came to kill, enslave and oppress the majority of the population of Earthly fae.
    They are possessed of two types of natural magic, called glamour and grammar.
    The fae are harmed by the touch of various refined metals. Outer fae are particularly vulnerable to iron due to ancient grammar-works. Similarly, salt has mythic significance against them.

    These fae are acutely aware of their position in the universe, and they are graded by their ability to decide the story around them, which can rise and fall with time and growth. The least are Extras. With no narrative powers at all, they can, by circumstance or the actions of others, reach a higher level.
    Above them are Understudies, who are aware of the their nature and can observe but rarely alter.
    Agents can freely alter their own story and details.
    Primes can freely change themselves, and have some narrative control over those below them.
    Authors have nearly perfect control over the world around them. They can declare the thoughts and actions of even non-fae beings, and it will be so.
    The Hierophant is not a quality, but a position. There would normally only be one, but the Terrestrial fae and the Outer fae have both successfully empowered a Hierophant.
    They are defined somewhat by their possessions.
    The Earthly fae are almost universally predators, where the Outer fae are more detached.

    Any being with 3+ Charities, of which 1+ are open, is considered by them to be a fae.
    The seven common Charities are the Glass, the Staff, the Blade, the Map, the Cup, the Pen, and the Ring.
    The two racial Charities are the Wheel which defines the outer fae and the Mask which defines the earthly fae.

    Pterosaurs, the largest ones, for flying on.
    Chaithers - Catlike, with eyes along their sides. Three heads with a single large eye each, basically an extension of their long necks. Two pairs each of fangs and many tearing needle-teeth. Very quick-moving.
    Chaistans - Hooved, six-legged things related to the above, but more docile. Two heads, one on each side, with an en eye on the top and bottom.
    Peaceflowers - Actual living plants that generate an aura of tranquility, larger the more are gathered together.

    This is a story about the futility of power and learning to find an acceptable place in the world. Leah has these fantastic abilities, and basically all her life she's been growing stronger. But none of them let her get what she wants, and they probably never will. She's haunted by memories of helplessness, guilt that if she had somehow been better, she could have protected her friends, or helped her father. She has this belief that she has 'paid for' her life already, but that's not enough to keep her satisfied. A lot is possible: flight, guiding peoples's thoughts, raise castles out of the air, creating somethign very like to life. But she doesn't know where her next meal comes from. Interpersonal relationships are all very asymetric. No one responds to her feelings, nor she to theirs. People don't work how she expects, and others are all this huge unknown. She tries lots of different things to fit in, but none of them work, none of the identities fit her.

    Personality: At times calm and collected, at others rushed and quick, Tyb is just as likely to think long and hard as to rush to the rescue of a loved one. He is generally independant, but shows great loyalty towards the few he trusts.

    Equipment: Beyond his clothes, forensic equipment, a Notepad and a trusty
    .44 Magnum, Tyb carries little with him.

    Abilities: Tyb has the spped and agility of a cat. He can land any fall, outfight and outrun your average man. His vision is excellent and, at times he can even dodge bullets. His nails are sharp and clawlike.

    Backstory: Tyb woke up one morning without any memories except a strange love of cats, superhuman abilities and a mission to bring down crime in all it's forms. Though his body is 27, he knows his mind is far, far older

The Deliberative's representatives were pressing an unfavorable compromise using social Charms, and she stepped forward to take up the negotiation despite her youth, determined to protect her kingdom's interests - and took her Second Breath.

    Since then, she has become known as a skilled and fair diplomat and negotiator, successfully bringing her father's realm and several minor realms into the Deliberative's fold.

    Jack is a mildly handsome man who's recently shaved his whole head bald. It would appear his dome is now scrawled over with ancient alien symbols. He's Late thirties or early forties, at most. Slightly taller than average. A jagged, ugly scar runs up his wrist and away into his sleeve. Some others are visible elsewhere, one in particular dancing up his forehead and cutting a patch out of his scalp. His eyes are a bright grey.

    Personality: Jack is a new man. He was, up till last year, a powerful sorcerer with a cruel personality. After an incident addressed below, he lost his memories, and transformed from a horror into a human again. He's a strange creature, an eccentric with a broken mind. What remained of his old personality recently jumped ship as a 'tulpa', a creature formed from a man's thoughts. That certainly hasn't helped his stability.

    -The Liar's Note, one of (2)538 indestructible Objects that litter the Multiverse, and are destined to eventually bring it to an end. Or at least, that's how the legend goes. Those who search after these objects are simply called 'Seekers'. The Note, upon being read, forces the reader to trust the Note's user, giving a reason why and then making them believe it.
    -Maybe another of the Objects, one of the ones that don't grant any inherent or immediate abilities.
    -A pen and some paper.

    Abilities:

    -Magical might, including advanced Void or Mind-related magic, amongst other things. Many of his abilities are explained by some form of magic or dark deal. Though he's likely unwilling to use most of it these days.
    -Access to the Yellow Road, a pandimensional realm that transcends space and time. Through it, he can teleport, open portals, and perform similar manipulations of what we call 'reality'. He can't use it in quick succession anymore.
    -Skill with a wide variety of weaponry from all ages.

    Backstory: There's lots of legends about Jack. Some fools stories, no more believable than a bad vampire novel. Others... well, you could definitely peg Jack Empty in there somewhere. One tells of the Devourer, Edo Edi Essum, as he smote across the Multiverse in the elder days. It's said one of the original Demons stole a piece of foul Edo, dragging it down into the Abyss and forging it into some horrible semblance of mortal man.

    Another says Jack was the leader of a cult, meant to worship the Void between worlds. He gained power, over time, but in turn lost his soul to the darkness.

    Another, a theory proposed by some of the finest Seekers ever to transcend the trials, is perhaps the most believable. It tells of He Who Seeks for Power, Jack's alleged title in the ancient Minoan civlization. An equally fine Seeker, who brought prosperity to his people and admiration from his peers. He became a king, says the legend. He was madly in love, with a family on the way. He Sought often, hunted the strange Objects and fought off their madness. But, with their potential for destruction, there were some Objects that Jack refused to gather.

    Of course, it's in Their nature to be brought together, so They decided to motivate him. The will of the Objects destroyed everything that was dear to him. But the loss simply broke him, rather than drive him forward as They had intended. A terrible darkness began to grow in the rift where his soul had been. He became unfit to Reunite the Objects. And so, like They always do, the Objects chose somebody else. Thus the hollow void inside grew unchecked, consumed him, molded him.

    Jack continued to Seek madly for a time, waiting for the day when the Objects would all be brought together, turning ally against ally and bringing strife to the earthly realms. But not long after he came to the Nexus, something began to change inside of him. He began to see, truly, what the void had done and how control it had wrested from him. Only Jack knew its origins, and only he knew how to destroy it before his will was lost entirely - he had to become human again. After all these years, he was the furthest thing from human a creature could be.

    He got his wish, but at the price of his memory. He lost his knowledge of the apocalyptic artifacts known as the Objects, along with just about everything else that mattered. The witch who granted this wish let him keep his powers, however - an even trade as any. He lost his only reaosn to exist, but at least he regained control. That was the imporant part. Right?

    Even this 'solution' didn't solve his problem entirely. The Void Inside had become too strong and independent, had formed its own mind. Two distinct beings, sharing space inside Jack's mostly vacant brain. Two Jacks. It was a painful paradox for both of them. The Void jumped ship at its first opportunity, taking what remained of Jack's (in)sanity with it, and he was glad to be rid of his dark side.

    Jack has never been a very nice man. Despite his memory loss, he still feels that he must atone for what he's done. Hence his residency at the Nexus organization called GLoG. There he hopes to make good use of this new life that's been thrust upon him, no matter how far it deviates from his old schemes. Or at least, that's what he says. You never do know with Jack.

    Description: He's a Russian Blue cat with a penchant for treasure and occasional mischief. Often changes shape through various means not normally available to him, sometimes against his will. A common one is that of a flaming hawt human whose origins can be traced back centuries to Prince Kaelaroth Maschin of Magtok-Armennia.

    Personality: He outright earned the name Dangerously Insane. Originally a nihilist of extreme measures, he has since changed his views and now largely just wants to stay out of everyone's way while trying to do what he can to make up for what he's done. Once a self-proclaimed pacifist, he still prefers to avoid violence whenever he can, if for no other reason than the fact he's usually on the losing side of such confrontations. Largely unstable, he's been through such issues like split personalities, amnesia, talking to people who aren't there, building himself wish-fulfillment friends, masochism, trying to destroy the multi-verse, suicidal depression and more. Unusually resilient, however, he has managed to shake all but the masochism and the depression which tends to cling to him like moss to a tree.

    Equipment and Abilities:
    Has a variety of equipment he keeps in a hammer space and uses magic to access. How else do you expect cats to carry these type of things? He's an excellent shot, particularly with a sniper rifle, though has avoided touching one for some time now. He has a few illusion spells and can turn pink to fly thanks to a hazardous encounter with some will-o-wisps.

    Backstory: Lengthy. Probably best to find out the normal way. I'd also recommend reading the ACRO digest.

    The current "official" Reinholdt is actually a clone Magtok made in hopes of gathering information to use against Calublufiok. He was not actually there during the infamous Apoca-Con incident and loathes the thought of what Reinholdt Prime did. Like all Reinholdts, he was responsible for Shepherd's existence and often has to face that fact and his subsequent shooting of his son on a daily basis. Occasionally designated as Reinholdt C. to represent his clone status and separate him from the others.

    Personality: Due to Astir's influence, his intelligence has been greatly increased at the cost of being incredibly corrupted. He is obsessed with making this world safe from threats like Magtok and eliminating sin while hypocritically wallowing in it, unaware of just how twisted his views are.

    Equipment and Abilities: He has the faded domain of life granted to him by Astir and held in a ghostlike state ironically by Shepherd. This gives him minor control of vermin and plantlife, a healing factor, and healing capabilities, though their power has been greatly reduced since Astir's time.

    Backstory: Largely the same as above due to the fact that Reinholdt M split from Reinholdt Prime just weeks before the Apoca-Con. After gassing the people at the Apoca-Con to remove their sapience, he formed Astir's Kingdom, assaulted the Magcave and temporarily killed Magtok, though lost his life in the process, ensuring Astir's Kingdom would never get off the ground. Spent a great deal of time in Hell before visited by Furiel, an emissary of Shepherd's and sent back to ACRO for the purpose of bringing Shepherd back to life.

    Personality: Due to Eve's influence, he gained a fair amount of enlightenment but his attributes good and bad were increased. He grew far more timid and scared than usual and earned the nickname the Meek, having almost lost the ability to talk altogether.

    Backstory: A simulacram created by Reinholdt Prime and left in GLoG to retrieve what he considered to be his Brightheart, he was away when Astir first corrupted Reinholdt Prime so remained more himself than Reinholdt Prime did. Until Jedwiga gave him a pomegranate of knowledge that is, changing him and enhancing his traits, particularly his timidness. He opposed the Apoca-Con, providing the information necessary for an antidote. When he was finally free from Reinholdt Prime due to the later's death, he went to the Prima Materia plane and started working to recreate some of the worlds he had destroyed. In the process however, he created not only Calublufiok, but his own world and ancestors as well, inadvertently creating a time loop.

    Description: KR-15 has a new prototype body, originally built to serve as a potential vector for starting things over, should events turn against him. To serve this purpose, KR-15 leaned away from the deceptively sleek, round-headed single eyed unit that served him so long and became somewhat of a trademark, to a less recognizable frame that he blatantly copied from Czerka Corporation. What did you expect, really? Robots aren't exactly known for their creativity, originality, or indeed their ability to create new things. Though almost entirely different to what he looked like before, it still has some of the distinctive KR-15 flair, including a third photoreceptor much like his old one and the blood red (bright and fresh from the artery!) paint-job (as opposed to rust orange). Here, have a picture.

    Equipment: KR-15 lacks any sort of stockpile of personalized and specialized weapons, unlike his various predecessors. As of right now, the only weapons he carries are:
    • The trusty beam rifle which has been with him from the very beginning and is capable of removing the heads of meatbags organic units from long distance.
    • His new short ranged weapon, a double barreled Ion Cannon of suspiciously familiar design and function to DC's weapon of choice, which can fire blasts of various size and strength.

    He's lost a lot of the modularity and concealed weaponry of previous KR models, though you can be sure he has a few surprises up his sleeve. And in other places.
    His senses, however, are a lot more advanced than before: The two smaller photoreceptors operate in the visible spectrum (though they bleed slightly into the infrared and ultraviolet spectra) but the larger one on his forehead is capable of cycling through the entire EM spectrum for Great Justice.

    Abilities: KR-15 is capable of speaking thousands of languages, knows how to set a table for 100, accounting for caste and relative standing with the host, knows what wines go with what food and how to play a proper game of lawn tennis. He's also capable of operating a staggering amount of modern and futuristic weaponry and how best to use them to terminate meatbags organic units for MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY.

    Previously PR-Drone Unit-1, KR-15 spent an unfufilling life talking to people at the GLoG visitor's center. Until the day Darkcomet of AMEN came to visit. Wanting a drone of his own, DC stole the drone, and reprogrammed it to be eeeeevil. To bad that he wasn't genre savvy enough to know that evil droids always break their obedience programming. After a bout of confusion and trying to kill as many of his successor drones in creative ways, KR-15 now has new meaning, and is now a mercenary for the ACRONYM ORGANIZATIONS, serving as a way for KR-15's player to take part in PLOTs with little story justification other than 'I wanna help too.' Only, this new life started to lose meaning as well. He copied himself, thinking his boredom was rooted from his limited reach, and spread himself all over the ACRONYMverse, and in quite a few places in town too. Lying in wait. Ready to strike. Or something. After several attacks by Draken, KR-15 realized the true meaning of his existence, that humanity, as a whole, was weak, and incapable of defending itself from cosmic terrors like Draken, so he began devising a strategy to defend the universe, preferably one that involved deleting as many meatbags as necessary. It was in the middle of one of these plans, involving all of K-Corp (seriously, the whole organization was just a plot) that KR-15's plans for saving the world were brought to a brutal halt, as the poor, heroic KR-15, was cut down in the prime of his life by an insane psion and an malfunctioning mass-murderer clone, thereby condemning the universe to a frozen, evil doom. Forever.
    Fortunately for the universe (or perhaps unfortunately, depending on your views) KR-15 survived getting a satellite dropped on him. However, the asplosion seemed to rewrite a couple of circuits, as KR-15 is now completely subservient, willing to serve Darkcomet and follow him to the ends of the earth. He seems to have forgotten about his plans for Robot Conquest, and instead seems more content to guard DC from his enemies. Too bad his player is never online at the same time as everyone else, otherwise his enemies might actually be afraid of DC and his Killer Robot (15).
    But then, it seems, he died. Again. But, as is usual for KR-15, a new one surfaced, and strangely enough, is a direct copy of the one that seeded KR. This one however, seems less violent than the others, and seems more focused on rebuilding his assets, putting world domination on hold for building a stable nation of robots that will be recognized by the international community. Isn't that sweet. But then K-CORP blew up and he lost everything and died. Again. Permanently, perhaps.

    A new droid has appeared bearing superficial similarities to the old KR-15. Indeed, the unit refers to itself as such. However, it seems to have lost most of the personality and individuality of the old KR-15, speaking in a blank, metallic monotone and holding a businesslike demeanor of a of a factory created, run-of-the-mill droid whose purpose just happens to involve slaughtering meatbags organic units in the most reprehensible manner possible. Perhaps the old KR-15 lies somewhere, buried beneath all that.

    Miscellaneous: Due to the reset, he doesn't seem to hold any memory of K-CORP, his mission, his vendetta against DC, or the word 'meatbag'. For now, it seems he's just a highly effective combat droid with a shocking disregard for organic life. For now.

    Power Rating: Much stronger then your average human and very good at killing, but he has no magicks.
    Description: My avatar. But... Going from the top down: His hair is coal black and a bit ragged. His skin is ash gray and his eyes are completely red (as in his irises, pupils, and the whites are all blood red). His mouth is adorned with two large fangs that poke out from under his lip, always. There is a metal plate, shiny, chrome, and spiky, protecting the left side of his chest and his heart. On his back is a pair of large, bat-like wings that he can use to fly, which are now adorned with spiky metal plates that strangely do not upset his flight. He can hide the wings at will. Rot is usually dressed in stereotypical vampire clothes, which consist of a large-collared velvet cape and fancy black suit. His boots are iron and studded.
    Personality: Vampire Rot is almost completely insane. His personality can change at the drop of a coin, from sadistic and sarcastic to blood-thirsty and violent. He dislikes everything in general.. His favorite pastime is making people miserable, whether it be by mocking them or torturing them. Usually, his aggressiveness grows the longer he has gone without eating people, though he'll still happily kill things even if he just ate.
    Equipment: A black Hello Kthulhu umbrella that protects him from the sun. He has a black magic sword, which is enchanted to protect him from holy water and garlic, as well as to teleport back to his hand if loss. It has been further augmented to let him suck blood through it. He wears the stereotypical vampires clothes, and also keeps a lot of hatchets handy for lobbing at people.

He can see in the dark, no small power this, in a world which one half shut from the light…
    He can do all these things, yet he is not free. Nay, he is even more prisoner than the slave of the galley, the madman in his cell. He cannot go where he lists, he who is not of nature has yet to obey some of nature’s law, why we know not. He may not enter anywhere at the first, unless there be some one of the household who bid him to come, though afterwards he can come as he please… Thus, whereas he can do as he will within his limit, when he have his earth-home, his coffin-home, his hell-home, the place unhallowed… It is said, too, that he can only pass running water at the slack or the flood of the tide. Then there are things which so afflict him that he has no power, as the garlic that we know of, and as for things sacred, as this symbol, this crucifix… to them he is nothing, but in their presence he take his place far off and silent with respect. There are others, too... The branch of wild rose on his coffin keep him that he move not from it, a sacred bullet fired into the coffin kill him so that he be true dead, and as for the stake through him, we know already of its peace, or the cut off head that giveth rest.
    Thus when we find the habitation of this man-that-was, we can confine him to his coffin and destroy him, if we obey what we know.

    Backstory: Rot was probably bitten by a vampire when he was around 26 or so. How long ago that was is completely unknown, as he is ageless now and suffers from long (very long) term amnesia. Most of his pre-Nexus memories are broken or locked away. Apparently, he had a wife at one point, and killed her.

    Kill Count: 6 (Any PCs killed, regardless of whether or not they come back *shakes fist at Nexus*)
