The joke is that she doesn't need to worry about self-preservation, because Divination spells will take care of that for her. Of course, we must also remember that Fir has a higher Wisdom score than Serrin does.

Yes, but you forget that the Peakane family is a family of mid-to-

level arcane spellcasters.

However, that was naive of Serrin. As great as her childhood and life in general is (in complete defiance of the usual half-elf stereotype), she's never left Elfland and she's pretty sheltered.

I don't know, Serrin seems rather young (by half elf standards at least) and if she has lived a shletered life, I am imaging overprotecting parents threatiening the males to not try anything -"funny" with their daughter. :shrugs:

That makes sense.

Serrin's 41, which is the half-elf equivalent of about 21 years old. Luic is 36; in human terms he'd be in his mid-to-late teens.
