[Valeria's House - Pool]

Emi nods to Valeria.
"I lived in America until recently."
Her tone seems to indicate that she's still a bit out of place.

"Hi Kaito. It's good to see you."
She takes Kaito's hand and smiles in a friendly manner, apparently a little more comfortable with him than he is with her.

"You as well, Emily."

He turns as two more guests approach. He waits until they're closer, then offers a couple of short bows, and handshakes if desired.

"Hello, Izumi. Greetings, Ayaka. My name is Watanbe Kaito. Glad to see more people made it."

As more people arrive, Emi scoots off a little to the side, finding a place to sit and put down her bookbag. She doesn't want to feel in the way, and there are other people who need to introduce themselves, after all.

...Viatrix climbs out of the trunk with a towel around her waist, wearing a purple swimsuit that shows off a bit of her bosom. She still has her umbrella, and in the other hand she carries a large cooler and beach bag. "Sweet, pool party."

Ayaka stares for a moment before following Izumi. Where do they get these people? {{IRONY!}}

Izumi walks though to the pool, and waves at Val. "Hey, Val! I'd like you to meet Sasaki Ayaka."

Ayaka offers her hand again. "So here's the famous party animal. I'm sure you'll fit right in around here."

Izumi chuckles. "I'm just going to get changed..."

Valeria smiles and waves to Izumi. "Good to see you again, Izumi-san, and nice to meet you, Ayaka-san." She takes the handshake offer with a bow. "I'm Valeria, you can just call me Val, though."

Valeria points to the changing room down from the pool. "Over there, Izumi-san."

[horngeek]

Izumi nods, and heads to the changing room!

"For the record, you are not going to receive a penny for this Vi."

Donovan leaves the car and walks up to the door of the house, before stopping in front of Claudia.

"Greetings madam. I am Donovan Bonaventura, owner of the Venti Buon, your daughter hired us for a catering service."

Izumi nods, and heads to the changing room!

Ayaka follows, and a little while later emerges in a blue and white one-piece.

Donovan leaves the car and walks up to the door of the house, before stopping in front of Claudia.

"Greetings madam. I am Donovan Bonaventura, owner of the Venti Buon, your daughter hired us for a catering service."

Claudia nods to Donovan, then looks past him to Viatrix.

"I see. Is it...normal practice for you to store your servers in the trunk?"

Beck came in, wearing shorts with multiple studded belts, electric blue pumps, and a stitched red shirt with white bow ties. She waved, and said cheerfully, Hey! Izumi-chan! Valeria-san! Beck's here, sorry I'm late! With that, she made her way towards the bathroom to change.

As Val and the others keep visiting and greeting each other, Kaito quietly slips off to one side. He places his towel down by one of the chairs, and proceeds to take off his tank top.

Luckily, he's not quite pale enough to blind passing airline pilots. But it's pretty obvious he doesn't get large amounts of sun. He walks over to the pool and gently steps inside, his thin frame not making much in the way of waves. After a moment of letting himself get used to the temperature, he begins swimming around a bit.

It's obvious he's not a competitive swimmer, but he shows enough coordination and athleticism to do fairly well for a true amateur.

'This is pretty relaxing. No knives or anything...' he thinks to himself as he keeps swimming rough laps in the pool.

((Valeria is new, Moon. Beck is already acting fairly familiar, which is odd considering she just moved there a few days ago. ))

Val grins as the party begins to pick up people. "How about a little music?" She walks over to a console on the side of the house, messing with it for a few moments before some music starts up.

"Hm, cool..."


Viatrix eyes Claudia. "Eh, nah, the car's just crowded and I don't mind it in there." She wastes no time in making her way through the door, looking around impressed. "Nice house!"

Donovan makes a really pitiful expression.

"She goes there on her own. Plus it is her sister's car."

And she doesn't work for him.

Ayaka starts doing lengths with surprising speed. "Hey, watch it!" she says as she almost collides with Kaito.

Nakahiro arrives. He looks up at the house for a few moments, then checks his watch. Late. Of course. The art of arriving on time apparently still eludes him. Cautiously stepping through the door, he makes his way out to the pool. He's wearing a white t-shirt and pants, and carries nothing other than his customary umbrella, which he leans on his shoulder. He shifts subtly from foot to foot and raises a hand in greeting.

"Hi."

[Valeria's House]

As more people arrive and introduce themselves, Emi gives a little hello wave to each of them as they come in, smiling in a friendly (if reserved) manner. She doesn't go greet them, but of course, that doesn't prevent anyone from going and speaking to her. Not that she expects it.

Emi might get a surprise... when Izumi makes a line straight for her. "Hello, there."

At Izumi's approach, Emi is caught off guard, surprise showing in her eyes before she quickly tries to recover herself.
"Oh- hi."
She sits up, putting a smile back on her face as she brushes away an errant lock of auburn hair.
"I'm Emi."

Izumi smiles at her. "Hayashi Izumi. But you can call me Izumi.

So, how are you finding the party so far?"

((OOC: Beck is really open, friendly, and welcoming, she treats everyone like old friends. ))

Beck strolled out of the washroom with her clothes slung over the crook of her elbow, wearing a green bikini with black edges and a sash at the waist. She walked up to Valeria, asking, Valeria-san, is there anywhere where I can leave my clothes while I'm swimming?

Val looks to Beck with some confusion. "Hi... Yeah." She points to the many chairs around the pool. "Are you one of Kaito-san's friends, or Izumi-san's?"

She idly waves to Nakahiro.


Viatrix saunters lazily to the pool, claiming a chair while setting her umbrella up. Somehow it stands up without any assistance as she sets her cooler and bag down, laying the towel on the chair as she lays back. With that, she pulls a pair of sunglasses out, flipping them on; next she opens the cooler, grabbing a bottle of cola. "Now this is a life I'd like."

[AmberVael]

"Well, it hasn't really started yet... people are still arriving and everything."
Emi says, looking over pool area. She still isn't dressed for swimming, though everyone else seems to be getting ready for that. Maybe she should go deal with that. But she couldn't just run off from a conversation- that would be mean.

"Yeah, I know. Just making conversation."

Izumi chuckles. "Did Kaito invite you?"

[Valeria's House]

Val looks to Beck with some confusion. "Hi... Yeah." She points to the many chairs around the pool. "Are you one of Kaito-san's friends, or Izumi-san's?"

She idly waves to Nakahiro.

Beck grinned and offered her hand to shake. I'm Beck Williams. I'm one of Izumi-chan's friends. Nice to meet you!

Emi nods in affirmation.
"He's the only person I know here."
She admits a little sheepishly.

"Did you only come here recently?"

Emi nods again, putting her hands in her lap.
"I came here with my dad- I have family here, but I've never really visited them before."

"Ah, I see..."

Izumi looks at Emi. "Do you want to go and get changed, then we'll talk some more?"

She smiles.

Ava is standing behind Donovan in a blue One Piece, obviously being a little shy. Or just acting shy, in order to stay close to Donovan. One of the two.

Aki pads over from her grandfather's house, already changed into a two piece swimsuit her mother had picked out for her. She had wanted something simple, and elegant, but since her mother was buying, she pulled the shots. She sighs, walking up to the door.

I still would much rather be with Grandpa Daichi, figuring out what to do about that... creature.

Aki sighed, put on her elegant, refined face, and rung the doorbell. She was here, and she would make the best of it.

[Eirine's car]

Rosa stepped out of the car. She had a conservative outfit as usual, but underneath she is wearing a bathing suit. She figured she best put one on just in case. She also had the rosary around her left wrist. As she was stepping out of the car, she paused at Viatrix's exit from the trunk. It'll take a while to get used to that still.

As for what happened the night on the town, well, interesting things happened. It is truly amazing what happens to a person after she's been slipped a couple of mickeys. Apparently, she acted like a robot the entire time, started ordering stiffer and stiffer drinks for "experimental purposes", and went off on a rant on some drunk that tried to hit on her about how he shouldn't try to pick up women in his state, most of the rant being backed up by how many ways she could send him across the room with her "blessed arm". But, the good news was, when she woke up she was still a virgin, she still had her dignity, and she still had all of the things she walked in there with. Bad news, she also had a hangover.

Anyways, back to the present. As everybody got out of the car, Rosa picked up whatever she needed to from the car, which results in her looking almost comical, what with all of the things she is carrying.
