The damn things seem to be able to crawl halfway into my windows and sit there forever, until I open it and >9000 of them explode into my face.

One time, I was sitting in my bed with my laptop, next to an open window, when - attracted by the light of the monitor - the biggest damn moth I have ever seen flew in and started fluttering about, boucning between my face and the screen, leaving moth dust. I've never felt so girly as when I screamed the house down in response!

I once got chased by a giant horse-fly. Normal horse-flies are just mortally annoying, but this one was terrifying. I ran for my life.

Now, that was like 10 years ago, and I'm a thousand times more calmer now. I'd probably catch it, study it and decapitate* it if it was today.

*My standard method for killing horse-flies. It's a lot cleaner than swatting them, and it's 100% fast and fool-proof death.
