Ask if he speaks English.
Two things; One, would using > instead of bold be alright? And two, could you do the same thing here where you link to the entry with the post saying it's up as you do in your other thread?Last edited by memnarch; 2010-06-19 at 07:14 PM.

Re: Bibliography - Choose Your Own Adventure
Solomon Codex eh? Brilliant. Yiddish? A golem? It fits.

Re: Bibliography - Choose Your Own Adventure
Wouldn't the Solomon Codex have more to do with demons and sealing/controlling them? It seems it would be more of a summoner than golem maker.

Funny thing is, I guessed it was going to be the Solomon's Codex a while back.

Re: Bibliography - Choose Your Own Adventure
Just saying, Solomon isn't really associated with golems. He's mainly associated with demons, seals, and wisdom. Also some general magic and wealth, but to a lesser extent. Most things though tend to tie his magic to the demons that were forced to obey him.

Re: Bibliography - Choose Your Own Adventure
True, but golems are a highly Jewish thing. Have to include all sides, right? By what I've heard anyway...

Re: Bibliography - Choose Your Own Adventure
Golems are Jewish traditionally, but are from a later time period than King Solomon. The two are from the same culture, but that's all they have in common. It's like trying to combing vampires and werewolves due to their being present in the same cultures myths (even if they don't all overlap).

Oh yes, commands given with > are fine. As long as I can tell what they are - bolding just makes it easier for me. And it's kind of hard to put each entry in a new post since I'm not just making a link.Last edited by Elagune; 2010-06-20 at 05:12 PM.
