"Beginning. You'll need to pay the full amount up front each month, at least 7 days prior to the end of the current month."

"Reasonable enough. Is there any sort of paperwork I need to sign so that this is official and binding?"

He shows you a standard lease and asks that you sign it when you bring the gold.

"I have the cash on me. Mind if we step inside to seal the deal?"

[Rizban]

"I'd prefer you just signed, handed me the cheque, and accept the key. If you just sign, this will be concluded in less than a minute, and we can both be on our way."

"Very well."

Marqhu signs and gives him 300 gold.

[Rizban]

He hands you the key and walks away.

[planswalker]

I head back to the estate and organize the cult to moving everything of value to the new house. I and my mistress will take the two bedrooms. The motley crew will sleep in the basement on whatever it was that they slept on in the old place.

Your mistress never shows up at the new place.

[planswalker]

I go out and search for her. First at the temple where she was treated. In my cult leader disguise.

[Rizban]

The priests refuse to let you enter.

"Very sorry sir, but we're currently full and unable to accept more people safely. Fire code restrictions and all that."

[planswalker]

"Can you at least tell me if a Viscountess Meister was released from here or if she is still within? She came in here yesterday. Her house was right next to the explosion and it caved in on her."

[Rizban]

"Oh, she's still here, but she has given specific instructions that she is not to be disturbed by anyone."

[planswalker]

he takes this news in stride. "Please let her know when she is conscious and stable that her protector will be waiting for her just outside. I am her personal bodyguard and now that her belongings have been stowed away into a new dwelling for now, I do not plan to leave her until she recovers. I shall wait right outside the door until she does."

[Rizban]

"Okay, we'll let her know."

I take up a vigil outside the temple until they allow me inside to see her, she comes out, or they bring me further information.

You discover that upon regaining her sanity, she has become afraid of you and asked the priests to keep you away from her.

Her rejection destroys his last shred of sanity and now all he seeks is to see the town be destroyed. He blames the city for exploding and making his love reject him. Screw this world. All humanoids are just cattle. I will take my revenge against the one who took my love away. By this, he means the city of Sesbury.

He remembers he heard a rumor he heard on the street about a million dollar gold reward to anyone who can off the gnome ambassador. He'll try his hand at it.

He takes on the image of his former patron and tries to enter the front gate of the noble's quarter.

I return to the rental house and pick up the papers that were among the possessions I brought over from her estate and return with them to present them to the guard.

I did specify that i took all of her belongings of value from her old house. Her official identification papers surely qualify.

Upon checking the papers, he waves you through the gate.

I walk through the gates into the Noble's District. I look around and take in the sights that I see here.

As he is taking in the sights, he looks out for the gnome's embassy.

[Rizban]

Upon entering the Nobles' District, he finds himself on a narrower version of Mastiff's Road, indeed it is the same road. He is surrounded by a number of large, wealthy manses. In the distance, he can see a few small estates surrounded by individual walls. Along Mastiff's are a number of diplomatic buildings put there by neighboring nations. There is also an inn which rivals The Maid and Mermaid in grandeur. Traveling north a bit, he find another major road leading directly up toward the castle to the north east. Just past the branch is a large building with two gnome guardsmen standing just outside the main gate.
