Night 13 Ends

Ah, it's great to be back home. And from the gossip around town, it seems like we've chased those pesky gods off.

Be careful what you say - they could still be around.

Yeah, but their powerless. No one died the night before, no one died last night. Heck, I'll even bet that no one dies tonight!

Just then rocks start to fall from the sky. Large boulders weighing roughly a ton each begin to scatter around the town. Not surprising though, none of them hits anyone.

See, what did I tell you? They got nothing.

But then the sky goes black. Whatever twilight that shone from the starts is covered by a giant mass. Coming from the sky, a rock about the size of a mountain is falling. It's target, The Bushranger.

Son of a....

He ducks down just as the large mass of land is about to hit him. A lound boom is heard is the impact is made.

Shortly after it hits, The Bushranger crawls out from underneath it. The rocks that had fallen first had created enough of a gap for him to survive under.

The Bushranger was attacked, but survived.

All I knew was that the reason calar gave for pointing at DeathSlayer7 didn't make any sense if you'd read the role list.

A dark presence manifests deep in an alley and begins to sidle toward the mouth, approaching the light but staying out of it. It comes across a stray kitten and pauses, radiating an aura of bemusement. The shadows shorten and thicken over the kitten, and the aura changes to one of contented amusement as a hand forms in the darkness, scritching the kitten's ears.

At a sudden noise, the kitten bolts out of the alley. Istari trips over the poor creature, earning a malevolent glare from the God of Shadows.

As the music ends, the crowd erupts. The judge of the event, The Valient Turtle, holds his hands out to Philistine. There's lot's of applause. Then he holds his hands out to Bushranger, again a bunch of applause.

Then's it's settled. Philistine has to go!

But the crowd carries him to the cliff.

Any last words before we throw you off.

Philistine grabs The Valiant Turtle, and jumps off the cliff. If he was going, he wasn't going alone.

It was probably inevitable. AFAIR, I've only ever survived to the end of one WW game in my career.

And I totally would lose in any dance-off. I would probably lose a dance-off vs. a mannequin. So, good call on that.

The pixie puppy glares menacingly at a little red ball. Grrrrrr! Yip yip yip! she suddenly attacks the red ball, sending it flying down the hall.

Lexy chases after it, tongue hanging out and as happy as she's been in a long time.

The red ball bounces into the private pool area, followed closely by Lexy. But she stops upon seeing Ionnes and..... Divania!!

Lexy runs happily to her mistress. Yip yip yip!! She jumps happily around Divania's feet.

[Diva De]

Divania smiles benevolently and reaches down to scoop the pixie puppy into her lap. She pets it gently, smelling like pomegranates.

[The Bushranger]

"Well, as long as things are fine, rocks don't fall, and nobody dies, I suppose I will be happy."

Iohannes smiles broadly at seeing the cheerful pixie pup returning.

I can't promise any of that, Iohannes. The gods' will is not mine to know, but I can assure you that they are fighting to protect the people. Your prayers are needed more than ever.
