The priestess pets the pixie pup gently. Nothing can hurt you any more, Lexy. You are safe. And look. With a wave of her hand, she reveals a field full of interesting things to sniff and bouncy red balls, waiting to be played with.

Day 17 Ends

The crowd all gathers around to send Bill to a fiery grave, fearing that he is the host of one of the evil pantheons. As they gather around him, he steps back and pulls out a sword. He swings it around, keeping anyone from moving closer.

I suppose the traditional way to conclude this is, we cross Hanzo swords. Well, it just so happens, I have one. I'll challenge the villages best swordfighter to a dual. So, swordfighter, if you want to sword fight, that's where I suggest. But if you wanna be old school about it - and you know I'm all about old school - then we can wait till dawn, and slice each other up at sunrise, like a couple real-life, honest-to-goodness samurais.

I'll swordfight you. A woman, dressed in yellow and black leather says, stepping forward.

You!?! How did you survive?

Looked dead, didn't I? But I wasn't. But it wasn't from lack of trying on your part, I can tell you that. Actually, your last bullet put me in a coma. A coma I was to lie in for four years. When I woke up, I went on a 'roaring rampage of revenge.' I roared. And I rampaged. And I got bloody satisfaction. I've killed a of a lot of people to get to this point, but I have only one more. The last one. The one I'm standing in front of right now. The only one left. I am gonna kill you, Bill.

When it comes to you, and us, I have a few unanswered questions. So, before this tale of bloody revenge reaches its climax, I'm going to ask you some questions, and I want you to tell me the truth.

Are we going to end this - like the stories - with us sitting at a table on the beach, and you using the five-point-palm-exploding-heart technique?

And with that, the woman rushes towards Bill. The swords clash as the two collide. Bill pushed back by the sudden rush, but managing to defend himself from the initial blow. As the scene progresses, the fight takes them into the forest, where the trees fall victim to the two swords swirling about the fighters. After an hour of thrusts, parries, dodges and dives, the two fighters find themselves standing in a clearing.

So, it has come to this. Are we to dual until the end of time, sword against sword, steel on steel?

Perhaps, but then again I have a game to play. And a question to answer.

And with that, the woman jumps out of the clearing, as one of the tall oaks comes crashing down on Bill. The bottom of the oak reveals well placed sword marks, cutting it cleanly down. It was a mastery of timing and moving that caused it to fall, on Bill.
