Oh, Q's rivalry with Lying was ALWAYS in that perspective. Which is partially why he's doing this now that Lying is engaged (married?). He's trying to fill the void!

But seriously. Q is pretty straight in the canon comics, though has more tolerance for men than usual. It's just sorta played up in these non-canon comics. Q is bi on A Date With The Q, which everybody will be seeing more of.

Kobolds can eat or drink anything without side effects, including Shadejuice! It only contain 1 ml blood from a creature you probably didn't know had blood and a healthy dose of something green we foud in the dungeon next to the mutilated corpses that we had absolutey nothing to do with!

Posting a picture of your avatar killing someone else's is the original form of ABR, though these days we have two storylines, which are essentially collaborative webcomics that anyone can join and make a strip, though it's polite to read the archives* before doing anything.

I read that in like in four or five days.

but they are only mostly talking about Future Imperfect Archives or the FFF Reboot archives, don't pay attention to the original Fat Fish Fury, unless you like to think your macho like me and read 2000 comics.

Really all you need to do is read the 3FR archive and work out a decent character with a clear motive for joining plot and not just a case of
"I R HAV WANT KEYS TO BE SUPRE MAN POWRED AND TACKE WORLD OVER!"
If every character wanted that then it would be pointless.

The only thing that's a little off is that you haven't captured my personality. It may not seem obvious, but I am really a very jolly person and I rarely, if ever, get annoyed or angry at anything. However I can accept a grumpy Mad Mask if it makes for better comedy. The thing about the roofies was hilarious!

Though a Mad Mask who answers Q's obviously offensive questions with a completely straight face could have been interesting too.

Mask's post reminded me, you don't even really need a clear goal, Rae's in-comic motivation was the same as my out-of-comic motivation, he was bored and it looked like he could have fun if he joined in on the fight. He also likes penguins

I think that the main point of the whole thing may be that he is overemphasizing certain parts of a characters personality and using Q as a foil to see just how ridiculous things could get if A person only had a few comics to go off of to formulate other's personalities.

@Zex: It's a common fallacy that your character needs motivation to join ABR plots (except maybe FI). In FFF:R, Fel's entire planned MO is that "she can't find the underdark, so she's joining the whole thing out of boredom, literally for the lulz." Thus, if you want, you can simply join a team because KP stole your ice cream when you were little, and you were just out for long overdue revenge.

I mean I'm gunna use Rae as an example...
How did he know about the first key? no one else did till Salmon and Leyroy went all trancy.
Why does he want them?
Does he know what power they have?

Step 3: Gain access to the Keys.
Step 4: Gain access to the Talisman.
Step 5: Use the power of the Talisman to spread his magic music across the whole planet and bend everyone to his will.

Which reminds me... I should probably chase up Keris as he had a few comic ideas that meant I might have to wait for him to make a comic before making one myself... (In both/either 3FR and/or FI)

As the other's have said, read through (At least some) of the archive of the plot-line you're interested in. Being at the moment either Future Imperfect or Fat Fish Fury: Reboot.

Think of a character concept and find a way to worm it into the plot. And that's it.
