Rificul nodded to The Moff.

"All men are created equal. Some men more so."

Rificul looked at a wall with a otherworldy stare then back at The Moff.

"Are you of the Blood?"

Al coughs and lurches forward a bit at the slap but just shakes his head and straightens back up.

And the lab of Allen's dreams? That... would be nigh on impossible to achieve... considering that the labs of his dreams would contain everything in his current lab...

Al looks around a bit skeptically. " Mmm, not bad actually. If I am to work here I would need to transfer some things from my current lab... actually, thinking about it this might be more hassle than it's worth... I do have some, private experiments that I would like to keep to myself if you understand. " He says rubbing his chin.

And Gordon heads back down.

Al hmms again and goes around checking the equipment and what not. He'll also check everything else in the lab.

Rificul moved forward to The Moff. The Vampire grins, his fangs showing themself.

"Do you wish to have my kiss? My immortal embrace?"

His eyes flicker, and then he pulls out the tea cup he had drank from, a bit of blood still on it. Retching he pulled the cup to his mouth and released the blood into the cup. Gasping for air he holds the cup to The Moff.

"Or perhaps just partake in the immortality, but not the embrace? I offer much."

Holding the cup up with one hand he wiped his mouth with his other hand and licked the blood from his hand.

"Hold it!"

A group of henchmen are standing between KR and the door.

"Drop him, our boss wants a word with him."

The Moff returns to the base, and walks in on Jack, the henchmen, and KR. It takes him a second to piece things together, but then...

"Sorry, but he's going to have to wait his turn." Says KR cheerfully, keeping the vaporizo-mat trained on Jack with one hand.
"But if it's really that important, maybe we can come to an arrangement?"
She looks at Jack.
"So, Mr. Jack. The dagger or your boss?"

[Moff Chumley]

The Moff doesn't seem particularly put off; in his time wandering around on the Yellow Road, he saw horrors that make Rificul look like a kitten. Nah, I'm perfectly happy like this.

[Lady Tialait]

Rificul nods and sips the cup of blood.

"Very well, and I must say if I was familiar with the darker ways of the kindred..I would look into your soul to see the horrors you must have seen to not blink at the unhealthy ways of those who are beyond mortality."

Rificul doffs his hat and goes to find a place to sit.

(Deadtime)

[Moff Chumley]

"Sorry, but he's going to have to wait his turn." Says KR cheerfully, keeping the vaporizo-mat trained on Jack with one hand.
"But if it's really that important, maybe we can come to an arrangement?"
She looks at Jack.
"So, Mr. Jack. The dagger or your boss?"

The Moff glares at the henchmen. I'll take care of this. Please excuse us. Turning towards KR and giving his harmonica a quick puff, he rolls his eyes. Alright, put him down. I am SO not in the mood to deal with this.

[The Operating Room]

After getting everything set up - the mass-produced magitech cybernetics are removed from their hammerspace containers and piled neatly to one side, the surgical instruments are sterilized and so on - Ebon Mirror begins cycling the henchmen through.

Each operation begins with Ebon Mirror insert a wrist spike into one of the henchman's nerve clusters and induce unconsciousness with his magitech nanites. Then, as the five scientists begin to implant the magitech cybernetics, Ebon Mirror uses his nanites to alter their personalities, removing any loyalty to Gordon personally and replacing it with loyalty to AMEN as an organization. He also implants them with hidden personalities buried in their subconscious, that will awaken for a few hours when given the proper stimulus. One personality is devoted to overthrowing Gordon and installing Magtok as leader of AMEN; the other is devoted to serving Ebon Mirror in his quest to end all things.

Gordon goes and sits in the main room, while sending a unchanged henchman to go to the library and get a book for him.

[Moff Chumley]

((Ebon should probably take the liberty of modifying the cloning tanks as well...))

[EleventhHour]

"Hmm!" Elle ponders thoughtfully, picking the umbrella off the floor as she follows, "A vacation? That sounds dangerous and horrible! Terrible, terrible." With a smile she hops on through, "Well. I suppose I can agree with that."

[Ashen Lilies]

"He is down."
KR's been rolling him along the floor wih her boot.
"Besides, fighting unwilling enemies is usually easier."

[Moff Chumley]

Never said I was unwilling to fight you, honey. The Moff switches his harmonica for a pair of enourmous handguns.

After getting the book, Gordon starts reading.

"Now where is it? History of The Worm that Walks, no."

[Lord Magtok]

And I can agree to not being eaten by Gordon when he tries to melt that Embassy later.

Magtok darts through, sending orders along to another clone to take position in Inside's cemetery.

KR draws a single, smaller machine pistol. She doesn't like it as much as her Ford Blaster, but that's a truly gigantic handgun and she needs that hand free to aim the disintegrator at Jack.

(I doubt Mirror will get away with that, cause Gordon is going to remember soon that Mirror wants to destroy everything.)

The Moff looks like he's about to say something dramatic, but you know what? Screw it. Get out of mah house. The Moff empties the clips at KR is quickly as possible, with the accuracy of fifty consecutive natural twenties.

Handguns with 25-bullet clips? Wow. Those are big guns.
KR falls out of the way, kicking the netted Jack forward in an attempt to trip the Moff up, as she sprays bullets in the general direction of Moff's face.

[Moff Chumley]

The Moff jumps to the side and keeps shooting, his accuracy not impaired in the slightest. Once his guns are out of ammo, he'll throw them at KR and pull out a large combat knife.

[Murkus]

Jack wrenches his blade from it's sheath mid-roll, cutting the net open with the simple action of moving the weapon out. He bursts out, attempting to dodge off towards the left at superspeed.

And this is when Gordon remembers, he stands up and marches in the general direction of the operating room. Given Gordon's ability to get lost, Mirror has a half hour before he gets there.

((Does Gordon know about Ebon's mission to destroy everything? I didn't think he did.))

Xavier steals the couch that was vacated by Jack.

((I don't think Gordon has the slightest clue Ebon intends to destroy anything at all, actually. He hasn't been advertising it.))

Becky, meanwhile, steps out of a shadow in the base, proper.

"...geez, what a mess."

Well, with Jack out of the net, KR decides now might be a good time to fight properly, and she whips up the humming disintegrator cannon, firing it. A loud *chooooooom* escapes the gun as a wide beam of energy erupts from it, disintegrating bullets, thrown guns and also Moff's face if he doesn't GTFO.
