"...wait, what. We have a UFO?" Becky asks, blinking. "And nobody thought to mention this in the sales pitch?!"

She crosses her arms over her chest, and harumpfs.

"Bad form!"

((If they can control it and know what it is, wouldn't it, you know, not be a UFO? ))

"Ah. Gotcha. Need to work with shadows or spiders to make my evil act more convincing," Darcy says. She gets up to follow Gordon to the UFO and waves a hand, making shadows gather around her, one of them shaping itself into a cartoonish looking spider which sits on her shoulder. Becky will easily be able to tell that this is illusions and not actual shadow magic - not that Darcy is pretending anything else. She's just being her normal smart ass self.

Ilpholin hasn't been around long enough to know anyone's weaknesses. She only just met Rot so certainly couldn't have told the troopers to bring a bandoleer of stakes.

But that hardly seems to be the issue anymore.
"Could we get more details? Unidentified objects going to deal with unknown threats aren't exactly my first class choice." She whistles and Mister Squiggles starts heading here.

[ThePhantom]

(Faster than saying flying saucer.)

Gordon gets in the UFO.

"All those who don't want to die, get aboard."

Becky smirks at Darcy's illusion, and tries to wave her hand through the 'shadow-spider' as she walks past.

"I'd be happy to give you some personalised training, dear," she says with a wink, before she steps into a shadow - and steps out aboard the UFO, her combat boots clomping on the deck plating.

"I've already died. Do I count?"

Rot gets in the UFO anyway. And wonders what it looks like, as he didn't read no description. Stupid unidentified airspacecrafts.

[Reinholdt]

"... You offer compelling details." Ilpholin thinks Gordan may be out of his lid and she could totally handle whatever's going on, but she climbs up on Mister Squiggles and the two of them board the UFO anyways.

[Murkus]

Jack frowns a bit, at Darcy, following the crowd to the UFO. Oh, she'll be watched closely now. Along with all the other new members.

"Yes, Gordon. I have some idea, but anything specific you can give would be much appreciated."

Jack also teleports Moff along, if he wants to come.

[Lord Magtok]

Magtok manages to recover just from the dart to wave everyone goodbye. Having only half a human body means he's extremely susceptible to toxins like that, but the mechanical half has enough filters to ensure that once it's acknowledged, it'll be expunged in moments.

You all go ahead, I'm already there. I'd just get in my own way, so I'll watch the base in the meantime.

Ebon Mirror trails after the rest of them. After an internal debate, he decides not to go with them, instead sending a few ninja zombies linked to his mind. Once he knows more about what's going on, he can take remote control of one if necessary.

The inside of the ufo is larger than the outside. Gordon is standing in the center of the white inside, by a column.

"My idea, get off the planet, and if the planet doesn't explode, we come back when its over."

[VampireRot]

"Wait, what?! Go into space?! Do you know what space does to vampires? There's sun out there. Lots and lots of sun. We better have blinds for the windows."

Again, I'm assuming there are windows. In a silly circular entirely-glass cockpit in the center.

[Reinholdt]

Ilpholin thinks for a minute. If the planet blows up, Nadas will die, ballet will die, her not-quite-hers-yet queendom will die.
Raril will die.
What's the point of living after that?

"Have fun." She turns around and goes to get right back off the UFO.

"Wait, what? That's your plan? And if the planet is destroyed? Won't we just die slower here when the air or food runs out?" Darcy turns to Moff. "I changed my mind. I'm going to throw in with the 'Overthrow Gordon' faction."

[Murkus]

"Well that's horribly boring." Jack says, sighing melodramatically and rolling his eyes. "As if the legion of good guys around here is going to let the planet explode."

Jack turns and starts walking towards a wall. "Unless you had a more interesting idea, I'm going to Trogs. Anyone who wants to come along, feel free."

"And if you're really scared, well, I can teleport us all away at any sign of planetary explosion. To somewhere safe."

[The Bushranger]

"...what she said," Becky says, jerking a thumb at the departing Nymph on Spider. "I don't do hard vacuum, thank you very much."

And she slips into a shadow inside the UFO, and vanishes.

Gordon sighs. Why don't they see?

"Look, I'll take it to a vote. All in favor of going and trying to save the world, say so now."

The ninja zombies - we'll say there are three - move to stand near Darcy and Moff.

"Before we do any kind of voting, let's get this whole leadership thing straightened out. Who is in charge?" She points at Gordon. "You?" She turns and points at Magtok. "You?" A final turn to point at the departing Jack. "Or you?"

[Murkus]

Jack stops. He turns slowly to Gordon. "What Darcy said. What sort of deal did I make with you, Gordie?"

[VampireRot]

"Meh. What's the world ever done for me? Nay!"

Rot scowls. And doesn't care who's leader.

[Reinholdt]

Ilpholin stops right at the edge of the outside of the saucer and turns to watch. Leadership squabble. Hip hip hooray.

Darcy moves away from the zombies. Wretched undead. "And who keeps inviting Shaving Mirror along to these things? He isn't even a member."

[ThePhantom]

"You wanted a contract to make Magtok the leader. I wrote you one, and you and Moff signed it. However, until I sign it, it doesn't matter."

Gordon has had it up to there with this.

"Now, you can chose to argue about who's in charge, or you can go and prove to the world who would be the better leader."

[Murkus]

Jack laughs in his face. "Hah! As if I'd waste my time proving anything to the world. I could care less if the Nexus exploded and the whole Multiverse fell apart." He murmurs. "All the better for me."

"Gordon. We can discuss this little contract later. Right now, you're going to give me the coordinates to wherever the Armageddon battle is going down, and I'm going to leave. I might catch up later to watch."

[ThePhantom]

"I don't know where it is."

Gordon turns back to the controls.

"But we could find it with you come along."

[VampireRot]

"Magtok knows!"

Rot is quick to speak up.

[Lord Magtok]

Magtok smiles, and leans back in his chair, putting his feet up on the table and making a pillow for his head as he folds his arms behind himself.

Oh, hey, one more thing. When we're talking about leadership after this is over, just want everyone to know that I told Gordon about the attack on Lethargia and he chose to let it fall.

Magtok pauses for a moment to let that shocker hit, before his right hand reshapes itself into a flesh yo-yo, which he proceeds to pull up and down by a string of sinew.

Yes, I know where the battle is, of course, since I'm there. You're all not invited cause I don't who know who is and who isn't out to cause the apocalypse.

Magtok glances towards Ilphonin, Becky, Gordon, Darcy, Jack, and Ebon meaningfully, before returning to his yo-yo.

[Moff Chumley]

Oh, so The Moff hasn't earned his suspicion?

"Wait, what? That's your plan? And if the planet is destroyed? Won't we just die slower here when the air or food runs out?" Darcy turns to Moff. "I changed my mind. I'm going to throw in with the 'Overthrow Gordon' faction."

The more, the merrier... The Moff turns to Jack. I need to stop by the island, then I'm certainly good with heading to Trog's. Anyone else want in?
