Lt. Lachen Mensch watched the crowd of stormtroopers with hate. Somewhere, in the unorganized mob, traitors hid. Then, an idea struck him. He would just check the orders of everyone here. There were scarcely 20, it would be easy to figure out who didn't belong. "Okay everyone, I'll be needing to see your orders! All those with forged papers will be thrown out the airlock."

OOC: I think I figured out a way for the plain troopers to network. Similar to what people did in the Harry Potter WW game. Everyone send me a copy of your role PM. I think I will be able to determine who is loyal, and who is a traitor by comparing a few key details. All loyalists: Keep the actual wording of the PM a secret.

PS. We should also bandwagon against all those that don't comply.

Using his skills as a mechanic droid, Artoo revealed a small panel on the wall.

"Why Artoo!" said Threepio. "With that panel, we can lock down portions of the Death Star! I can finally be of use!"

    Artoo beeped in reply.

"What do you mean your the only one who can operate the panel. What am I to do then?"

    Artoo booped.

"Why I never." the protocol droid said angrily. The two went off to their own corners of the room.

    Artoo can now nightkill.

Threepio still can't do jack ****. Sorry.

No I am not pulling it out of my ass. It's totally reasonable in some way I haven't figured out yet.

Billtodamax, he's not boring. Emperor Demonking suggested something smiliar in the first Werewolf I ever played. We lynched him for it.

Kroy, as Rabbit already said, it sucks the fun out of the game. You wouldn't want that, would you? It's also a very wolfish thing to ask.

So I have a feeling you may die soon in this game.

"Hrm. For such a small ship-and a diplomatic vessel to boot-she sure has a powerful reactor. I wonder what the coolant needs are on- Hey!" KT-2691, commonly known as Gearhead, was always quite different from the other troopers of the 503rd. He was one of the products of the Empire's Dark Trooper project, a batch of Clones turned into Cyborgs for more specialist positions in the Imperial military. Right now, his arm had began to act up again, flailing uncontrollably. "Ach! Lt. Mench, this is KT-2691, arm's acting up again, I'd bet Internet Flea is behind this. Going down to the droid bay to get it back under control."

What's everyone coming after me for? (It was the color text, wasn't it? I knew that was a bad idea.)

Well, self-defense point at Kroy, because he's either a wolf or he's trying to break the game and both options seem likely to get me killed.

(Oh, and Lex-Kat, would you kindly cross out your vote against me?)

EDIT: Anyone else who voted against me is also more than welcome to change their mind.

You know, it had been figured out a dozen times already. Except, as others said, it sucks the fun out of the game, narrators often send PMs in differently worded batches, and you will kill good powerroles as well.

Lt. Mensch radioed in. "Great work, Troopers. Now all that's left is to-*BzZtT*"

    "Sir? Sir, come in."

One by one, the lights on the deck quickly faded, as did the hopes of the 503rd. In a few moments, the deck lay in near complete darkness.

"Well isn't this just peachy." said Number Three. A few moments in silence later, Number One spoke up. "Well men, it looks like we're going to have to get the deck running again. Who's coming with me?"

Though they obscured by visors, Number One knew the fear that lingered with each of his squad mates. "No takers, then? Very well. I can do just as well on my own."

Just as he was leaving, he heard the call of Twenty. "Wait, sir!"

He stopped and turned to Twenty. "Well well. Finally someone brave enough to handle a little shade?"

"No sir. Well yes, but, well, you see....

    "Spit it out, Twenty."

"Nineteen's gone, sir. I can't find him anywhere."

    "Are you sure?"

"Well yes, I meant to ask for some tips, seeing as he took Solo down."

One sighed. "Very well. First we'll turn the lights back on, then we'll radio in and see if we can find our lost hero."

The two carefully made their way through the large corridors, watching vigilantly for any signs of Nineteen. The two kept to the walls, and though he wouldn't admit it, One felt... uneasy about this whole ordeal. Maybe it was the fact that the power was cut not five minutes after they had dispatched the rebels. Maybe it was the way a rookie with a dead end job took down the great Solo. It just didn't add up.

They at last reaches the backup power, a sight for sore eyes for the fidgety duo. One ran up to the conduit and began to bring it to full power. "Give her another five minutes, and we'll be bathing in fluorescent sunlight." One said, warmth creeping into his voice. "Just sit tight and- Twenty?"

"Come back Nineteen! I have something to ask of you!"

"Blast it." One decided he would catch up once the power came back.

After some five minutes, the lights began to return to their usual luster. As his surroundings illuminated, he couldn't help but notice the figure standing a ways to his left.

As he turned, he recognized the armor, the helmet, and the single medal on his chest. It was unmistakably the armor of Nineteen.

"It's high time you showed up. You know the little one was running around trying to find you for advice? I'm just not sure about that one sometimes"

As soon as he finished his piece, Nineteen brandished his blaster in One's direction.

    "Nineteen?"

"See, there's the thing. The name's not Nineteen...."

He shot One squarely in the chest.

    "It's Solo."

One lay collapsed on the floor, his body giving way. Seconds after Solo's departure, another figure came running up to him. "Sir!! Sir, it's okay. It's gonna be okay. Stay with me. Please stay with me. Sir? Sir?!

    Night Shift End

Number Three was distraught. After the discovery of One's body, the higher ups had decided to lock down the deck. They were now stuck here with a crazed murderer, more than likely Solo or another. Three sighed. It was going to be some time before he could resume his game of Pacman. Oh, the pellets that would go uneaten-

"*BZzT*- in, Number Two. Are you there?"

The 503rd gathered round the crackling radio. Number Two picked up the receiver.

"Sir yes Sir!" He said enthusiastically. The voice of their Lieutenant was a welcome break from the silence they had grown accustomed to.

"Good news, troopers. Lord Vader has commissioned a special ops unit to help weed out the intruder."

"What? B-But sir! It's just one intruder, why-"

"Lord Vader believes there is more to this than we had thought. You know him, he's probably right.

    ...

Be careful down there, alright? You're the only squad I have left."

    "Yes sir."

    "...Good luck."

The radio fizzled out, as the troopers once again found themselves in silence.

"Well isn't this just peachy. A bunch of freaks coming in and taking out anyone suspicious. Do they think we can't figure it out for ourselves?" Number Three mused. He scanned his eyes around the room, making note of his comrades actions. He didn't need a bloody detective. It would just take a little deductive reasoning.

In the time since One's death, Number Two had assumed command of the squad, making sure he had each and every little thing taken care of. He hadn't been as successful as he'd hoped.

Number Four and Number Fifteen made themselves busy playing cards. It didn't take a rocket scientist to see that Four was losing horribly. Perhaps he was more than stressed with the game?

Number Six, Number Nine, and Number Eight were discussing the whole business, although it looked as if they knew as much as Three did. Maybe. He couldn't be sure.

Number Eleven, Number Thirteen, Number Sixteen and Number Eighteen were playing a game they had come up with on the spot. Sixteen was losing. Trying to get their mind off of a horrific crime? Attempting to look innocent? It would take some more deliberation.

And of course there was Number Twenty. Going alone with One to the conduit, and coming back with a dead body? It would be foolish not to include him on the list of suspects. Perhaps a solution would lie with him.

"Boy," said Three. "what do you know about this whole business?"

"N-not anymore than I told you, sir. I ran after Nineteen... I lost him, and when I came back he'd.. he'd...." Twenty was on the verge of tears. Typical. Twenty had never been Stormtrooper material, and they'd always wondered how he'd got in this job. A sting operation?

"Boy, if you don't tell me everything you know right now I can't promise you I'll be very nice."

"I told you everything! Please believe me, sir!"

    "That's enough."

Number Three glanced up to see the figure of Two standing over him. Again, typical. "Playing white knight again, huh? Why do you protect him, anyways?"

"Three, we won't get anywhere pointing fingers at each other. Let's just wait for the team Lord Vader sent. We should get our answers then."

"We've already got a prime suspect right here, can't you see that?" Three barked back.

"How do we know you're not one of 'em anyways?" shot Four.

    "Yeah!"
    "C'mon!"
    "Stand down, Three."
"Let's see you talk you're way out of this."

As the mob of Stormtroopers grew closer and closer, Three brandished his rifle. "Alright then, who's first?!"

Three braced himself for the fight of his life. Killed by his fellow troopers. How typical.

Suddenly, everything stopped. Three opened his eyes and found himself at the back of the largest trooper he'd ever seen.

"Now," said a unfamiliar voice, "if you're done ripping each other to shreds, I'd like to get some work done."

Three turned and saw the visage of a normal-sized trooper with yellow markings. "Who are you?"

"We are your knights in shining armor, my lad." said the smaller one. "We are the Special Ops."

Three blinked in surprise. "And by the way," continued the smaller one. "I'd appreciate it if you didn't call us 'freaks'."

Five marched back onto the Main Deck from the barracks. "Ugh, that was one rough night. And I thought the beds back on Caridia were hard. I heard Three was attacked last night, and Seventeen(Murska) seems like just the kind of Trooper that would start a fight like that."

Hmmm? Who would attack me, Night 1?

At this point, I'm not sure, so I'll go with Internet Flea. For the sole reason that fleas multiply really quickly, and the bite. And that could be a real problem if we don't get control of it now.

Number Sixteen was realizing he was really terrible at this game he and the others had created. Of course, he hadn't really been paying much attention, but in situations like this, who could afford to concentrate on a game?
They were locked up on the deck, with an unknown number of killers. Everybody was a potential victim, and everybody was a potential suspect.
Luckily, since birth, everybody said Sixteen had a keen investigative mind.
    ...Well, SOME people said that.

    Probably.

Granted, the word "paranoid" got thrown around a bit, but in the end, aren't all great detectives paranoid? Sure they are.
Anyways, back to the investigation. Who were the most likely suspects? Who stood to benefit most from the deaths of One and Three?
With One gone, Two was currently the highest ranked of all of them, and thus their leader. A plot to accumulate power maybe? But why would he want to kill Three? Was he tying up loose ends? or maybe trying to remove the person most likely to gain from his own death? No, there wasn't enough evidence to just march up and accuse their current leader of being a murderous traitor, especially when he'd already aired his doubts about Sixteens loyalty the previous day. Spouting a half-baked theory now would likely end up with him having more in common with poor Kroy than he was personally comfortable with.
So who was left? Sixteen looked around, and thats when he saw Nine discussing the previous days events with Six and Eight. Hadn't Three voiced suspicions about Nine? And then she was attacked. Hmmmm, very interesting indeed. Sixteen abandoned his game, approached Nine and filled him in on his suspicions about Nines role in the attempted murder of Three.
"Well, Billtodamax? Do you have anything to say in your defense?"

“I think Lex-Kat’s lost her mind.”
Stormtrooper 22 popped another Imperial Chicken Bit into his mouth, then responded, "What makes you think that?”
Stormtrooper 8 dropped his own Bit back onto his tray.“She shot at us! Were you not there for that?”
    "Well, so did Rade.”
"Oh, right." Stormtrooper 8 sipped at his water. "I did the Vader impression in front of him, about how people wouldn‘t want the AdrenoLime energy drinks ‘if they only knew the POWER of Generic Brand Vitamin Supplement 48’, and I think he got upset.”
"And Gearhead. Something about ‘breaking my arm’?”
“You know, I’m really getting sick of everyone blaming me for every little mechanical malfunction.”
"Maybe if you hadn’t hacked the ‘Conga Droids’…”
“That was Mairen, how many times do I have to tell you?”
"Then why did they find you in Droid Storage 4?.”
“I was working on the vents! I saw Mairen run out, then all the Droids started dancing. Why is that so hard to believe?”
    "Well, everyone likes Mairen.”
Stormtrooper 8 stared hard at the man across the table.
    “What's THAT supposed to mean?”
The conversation was cut short as a blaster shot split into Stormtrooper 22's tray, spraying Imperial Chicken Bits across the room. The two Stormtroopers ducked under the table, readying their blasters as Stormtrooper 3 disappeared once more.
The two men gathered themselves up, keeping sharp eyes on the mess entrances, until Stormtrooper 22 broke the silence.
"You know, I think Lex-Kat’s lost her mind.”

Stormtrooper 13 was patrolling corridor 33b on Level 4.

Looking around, to be sure she was alone, she then turned her attention back to what was truly important. Here kitty, kitty, kitty. Mr. Buttons, where are you?

She tried calling out quietly. No one could find out about Mr. Buttons. They'd take him away from her. She hadn't seen him since she had him cleaned for Internet Fleas. Evil little buggers.
