Re: Ballad of the 503rd: Star Wars WW
Actually, Empire did not use Dark Jedi, but it had a number of force-using organizations: Prophets, Emperor's Operatives, Inquisition, Royal Guard, Dark Troopers, various singular officials capable of doing so (Executors, Warlords, Advisors, and Admirals) and of course Sith.

Re: Ballad of the 503rd: Star Wars WW
Trixie's correct.
Emperor Palpatine didn't allow other force adepts to become to powerful. He kept to the rule of two stringently, not wanting any other to take his place.
That's why he made use of the cloning facilities, so that when the Dark Force ate away at his soul too much, he'd just transfer his consciousness into a young clone, and start over fresh. He planned to literally live forever.
Even Mara Jade isn't considered a Jedi until Luke convinces her to come to his side. Her training consisted mostly of things she'd need to be a useful assassin, spy, and lover. Her skills as a Jedi were intentionally stunted, so that she'd never be a threat to Palpatine.
She's powerful, don't get me wrong. But her potential was greater than how she was trained by the Emperor. If I remember correctly, even Vader knew nothing of her. She was a hidden weapon, Palpatine planned to unleash on Vader, if necessary.
The only other Dark Jedi I can think of that was in the Empire during Palpatine's reign was Kam Solusar, who betrayed the Jedi to save himself, vowing to serve the Emperor and train those the Emperor sent to him.
I'll edit this post when I get home to include his name, if no one remembers who I'm talking about.
They make it fairly clear in the books after the movies that most of the Force users used by the Empire at below Jedi level.

In the end, I really just don't enjoy arguing semantics.

I'm going to leave this here as my last will and testament, seeing as how my death is inevitable with these brain surgeons as my allies.
*There is a key attached to the letter.*
I leave my gun to Number Seven. He won't shut up about it as is, so perhaps this might save everyone some inanity.
I leave my life savings to getting you boys proper training, so no one else might be slaughtered thanks to you.
You were all obnoxious and I'm surprised you haven't accidently shot yourselves into space yet.Dammit Twenty-One.
Bury me with my Beatles albums.
The Engineer.

*Number Six
*Number Thirteen
P.S. Wookiee, it might be in your best intrest to know I've hidden a tracking device on this letter. Next time you try robbing a grave, make whether or not the deceased had half a brain before looting them.

Re: Ballad of the 503rd: Star Wars WW
So we got Vader and a bunch of stormtroopers, possibly with items, against Chewbacca, Skywalker, C-3PO and R2-D2, possibly other rebels, possibly with items.
The Fiery Tower
The CyberWolf
The Cake
Fleeing Coward
Calamity
Heroic
Trixie
Murska
hap hazard
At least four rebels, nine players. I think we're in trouble.
Unless Lord Vader has something, and at this point we should be careful of anyone claiming to have information since one missed lynch and we're losing, meaning the bad guys might decide it's worth the risk, I propose we look into the Lex/Rabbit lynch yesterday.
I came up with logic against Lex, which The Fiery Tower followed on. Rabbit made it clear Lex was guilty with a Baner claim. Trixie pointed at Rabbit, then FC joined the Lex wagon. Then, in my opinion most suspicious part,The Cakepointed at Rabbit for no real reason. He's also someone new, and thus maybe unlikely to have been scried by Lord Vader earlier.

Re: Ballad of the 503rd: Star Wars WW
Alright, since we're in such a close game, here we go.
I'm Lord Vader.
Every single contact I've had this game has died. I got into contact with the baner, the sharpshooter(It was too late for me to save him by the time I got on), Obi-wan...
And yesterday I scried Luke Skywalker:Fleeing Coward.Last edited by TFT; 2010-08-22 at 03:35 AM.

All right, that settles that.
Fleeing Coward.
EDIT: Unless this is a fake and there's a real Vader out there. If so, claim now.

Re: Ballad of the 503rd: Star Wars WW
Well, you forced my hand
The Fiery Tower.
Cyberwolf is C-3PO, Trixie is Chewbacca and I'm going to assume that since you're claiming Vader, you're actually Luke. I've remained quiet all game because I can't scry a single villager that remained alive and our baner is dead.

Re: Ballad of the 503rd: Star Wars WW
Ahahaha. Fleeing Coward, such blatant lies.
Just look at the voting records.
If you want proof, we can both scry someone, and see who's right and who isn't.
I'd suggest The Cake because he is suspicious, but we can pick anyone.
We can also pick one of FC's choices to lynch today if we do that.
EDIT: There's also a reason why I called Internet Flea out. It's because I had just scried him. Just food for thought.Last edited by TFT; 2010-08-22 at 02:18 AM.

Re: Ballad of the 503rd: Star Wars WW
So let me get this straight: You're saying I'm Luke and I'm in contact with both the Masons and the Baner and am now making a sacrifice play to get you lynched even though Obi Wan has been dead since day 2?
The only possible way that I can know that Trixie and Cyberwolf are what I say they are is because I am actually Vader and I scried them so stop digging yourself deeper by saying that I'm sacrificing teammates that I'd have no way of knowing if I'm actually Luke.

Re: Ballad of the 503rd: Star Wars WW
There are items in this game, that the wolves get by killing people.(I'm interpreting the rule correctly, right?) It's not impossible to assume that they would use them to try to find people. Or, you could just be pulling 2 names out of you're butt knowing that if you're wrong, then we are down in people for sure, and if you're right you have an alibi the rest of the game.
But yea. You've missed 2 days, so how have you scried 2 villagers and 2 power roles in 3 nights?(We are on dayshift 6 right? It doesn't help there is a lack of numbers) You've also I think voted for Murska twice, who's looking innocent, and... Rabbit, who was a stormtrooper. Doesn't help your case any. Thanks goes to Vampire Pumpkin for my awesome avatar!
