Krystal will then go to lead her to the kitchen.

Marley calms down a little. Can't let her worry more.

"I'll go and make pancakes."

Then notices they headed off while he was thinking. He runs over to the kitchen and starts making pancakes, trying to calm himself down really.

[The Bushranger]

"Pancakes are good. With peanut butter, and sweet potato fries?" Jamie asks, as she hops up onto the kitchen counter.

Krystal makes a funny face. Pancakes and fries? That's weird. She's smiling as she says that. And since Marley's doing the pancakes, she starts on the fries.

[The Bushranger]

"Yeah, well I defy convention!" Jamie declares, grabbing a fork to brandish herocially.

Krystal smiles. Best thing to defy. She finishes the fries and hands them over to Jamie.

[ThePhantom]

And Marley flips a sack of pancakes onto a plate in front of Jamie.

"Heh, still got it."

[The Bushranger]

Jamie, who had grabbed a knife and bottle of peanut butter, grins broadly. "Thanks! You guys are great."
And she drowns her worries about her dad in peanut butter on the pancakes.

"Thanks."

Marley starts cooking up more pancakes.

Krystal smiles. And hopes that Quinn will be back soon.

But, for now, she makes some more fries.

[The Bushranger]

And Jamie eats, voraciously.
Hey's he's a growing girl! Rapidly growing, up 'till now.

[Kaelaroth]

Next to the deadtimed Czernov, a deadtimed ghost appears. This post is not intended to interrupt the Druid family in any way, and simply is a placeholder until Kael returns.

And a deadtimed Czernov is less of that, now - he shivers, blinking, his skin a messy blur of burns and scorches - is it the ghost's presence that awakens him from his slumber?

[Infirmary]

The ghost puts a hand out to touch his face, his touch barely tangible, like a soft breeze. "Czer."

[Kaelaroth]

Gjorrrr...? Czernov groans, lightly, softly...

[happyturtle]

"I'm here. I won't leave you." George says.

[Kaelaroth]

You went away. Czernov manages to says, blood ripening as a fountain at his lips.

[happyturtle]

Nurse Piper arrives, walking right through George, and begins treating Czernov. Or attempting to. Administering potions and doing medically stuff.

Because you threw me out, and then I was killed... he doesn't say. "I'm here now, Czer. I want to help."

[Kaelaroth]

Just because I look like him? Czernov says, his pain causing the implicit paranoia creeping into his voice, his normally taciturn, emotionless form a panicked, broken bird. However, as Nurse Piper works, Czer's eyes come slightly more into focus, looking at his former lover.

"I loved you first," he says, continuing to stroke Czernov's face. "I came back for you, not for him."

[Kaelaroth]

Is he gone? Czernov asks, looking around. I felt him in the earth when I was down below. Wearing my face, like the others... He looks at George, swallowing a scream of pain. I've missed you so much.

[happyturtle]

"I think he's gone. I don't feel him calling for me like he was."

[Kaelaroth]

He's always back. If not him, the others. You'd love them too. How's your wife? Czernov says, voice dry.

[happyturtle]

"I'm sorry, Czer. I'm sorry I made such a mess of our lives when it should have been so simple just to love you and be with you."

[Kaelaroth]

Why are you here? Czernov says, turning away from George to blink at the lights, and the unfamiliar surroundings. Such bright lights...

Did I not get out?

[happyturtle]

"To be with you," George says. "Unless you don't want me here."

"You're in the infirmary of the Good League of Good," Nurse Piper says. "I'm afraid I can't let you get out any time soon. You're far too injured to be discharged."

[Kaelaroth]

I've always wanted you. I felt you in me before I ever met you.

Czernov weeps.

[happyturtle]

George leans over and kisses Czernov, a soft ghostly touch on the lips.

[Kaelaroth]

Czernov tries to kiss back, but it might not go so well. What with George being a tad on the insubstantial side, and Czernov being somewhat bleedy and broken and burned...

[happyturtle]

"Rest, Czer, love. Rest and heal. I won't leave you." George says.

[Kaelaroth]

And Czernov, grateful, is taken back into sleep's hungry clutches.
