Din hugs back"...have you been working for Carrie for long?"

Yes. His name is Anger and he is... not entirely like me.

"so he...sent you away?...did he hit you?"

She shakes her head vigorously.

He sent me here because he wanted me to be safer. He's kind and loving but always looking for a fight in a sort of cheerful way.
He worried that if something turned sour I'd be hurt, so he sent me here to be safe.

Din smiles "ok...oh gods ...I hope he isn't mad at me for sleeping with you..."

I don't think he will be.

Din sighs in relief "so, you're a goddess too?"

[Beans]

Half. My mother was a Valkyrie.
Somehow I turned out... nonviolent.
