Yasen keeps his face deliberately neutral as Secret talks about starting a fight.

Lady, you have no idea what you would be getting yourself into.

He shrugs and smiles.

"Well, no harm done, am I right? Anyway, why are you here?"

[Lix Lorn]

"Oh, I'm sure you can't be that good." she said blithely. "You a walker?"

Then she paused, and giggled.
"I'm talking in response to thoughts again."

Yasen Tal

Yasen's eyes widen as the woman reads his thoughts and openly declares her knowledge of Planeswalkers. He takes a step back. After her statement, he almost immediately forms a shield around his mind using white magic, making it unreadable. His last readable thoughts are:

She read my mind!? And she-

The mental curtain of protection closes, and Secret is cut off from his mind mid thought.

"Who are you?"

Chase

'My spark was awakened on Dominaria, so I suppose that would be my home. I've never been to Bant, but thats probably a good thing - I hear that place is all about rules and order. Kindda boring if you ask me.'

Chase playfully conjures a small ball of flame in his hand as he speaks, the punctuates his statemente by throwing it into the wall, catching it again on the rebound.

'So, what should we do about this nonexisting guild?'

[Lix Lorn]

"Oops. Sorry." she grinned, not seeming that sorry. "Call me Secret. I come from... let's say... Ravnica."

Yasen smiles too, although there is a measure of harshness to it.

"Alright, then. What are you doing here?"

[Lix Lorn]

"Well..." she hesitated. "I feel something. Like it's calling."

[Dorizzit]

Yasen Tal

Yasen nods.

"Same as me, then."

[Lix Lorn]

She nodded slowly.
"Sounds to me like something up there's calling to those with the spark..."

[Dorizzit]

Yasen Tal

Yasen shrugs.

"Maybe, maybe it's just calling, or calling to powerful mages."

He turns back towards the source.

"Anyway, what are we standing around for? I know I'm curious about it, and unless you want to fight me for it it may be more efficient to go together."

[Lix Lorn]

"Can you fly?" she asked. "Walking is way too slow."

[Dorizzit]

Yasen pauses before responding.

"I have ways of becoming airborne, but every time I've used magic this plane has attacked me."

[Lix Lorn]

"Didn't attack when you made those clouds." she pointed out reasonably.

After some, eighteen hours? Maybe, could have been far less.. Your not entirely sure. This place seems to do something to your mind, making you relaxed, and at ease.

After an undetermined amount of time later, the cell door is opened once more, and the vampiric host from before returns.

So has it been decided? Will you both participate in my request?
The vampire obviously speaks of his request to obtain "the spark" through the two of you. Although it is unknown how one would do such a feat, this... man... seems to be confident in your abilities.

[Dorizzit]

"Didn't attack when you made those clouds." she pointed out reasonably.

Yasen

Yasen scratches his chin.

"That is true...alright. Let's try it."

He snaps his fingers, summoning the Griffon from before.

[Dada]

Chase:

'That question would be a lot easier to answer if we were told what you need us to do' Chase responds frigidly.

[Lix Lorn]

She looked around, wondering if something was gonna happen.

The griffon materialises, mana being drawn straight from the outer void known as the aether. You can see every detail as the majestic bird-lion phases into existance.

The entire show was marvelous, masterfully done by one of your calibur. And now your mount waits patiently on the cliff side, prepared for the worst this world may throw at you!

Chase and Nissus-

I simply need to know where your alegiances lie. If you are willing to trust me, and to that extent all of house dimir, then we may further conduct buissness. If you do not please to futher our arrangments, you will be escorted out, and your minds erased.

The still nameless vampire says, out reaching a cold, white hand to be shook.

Chase:

'I do not know where the allegiances of my companion lie, but mine lies only by myself. As I understand it, you need my help. If you wish to do business with me, it shall be done on my terms. I shall neither make a deal without knowing the price, nor have my memory erased. If you want me as a friend instead of an enemy, if you want my assistance, then you will tell me everything about this deal of yours. Then we can do business.'

[Lix Lorn]

"Maybe you just messed up before." giggled Emily.

[Dorizzit]

Yasen shoots secret an annoyed glance.

"No. No I did not."

Shaking his head, he mounts up.

"Let's go."

He then takes off.

I would have to agree with Chase on this matter. It would be best if we knew what we were getting ourselves into before jumping in.

"Let's go." she giggled, before, flying up.

Your vampiric's host cold, yet welcoming spirits seem to fade. His very aura chilling, both of your hearts skip a beat.

Fine, I must summon my ward however. He was off on buissness... recruiting likely candidates. Seems as that is no longer a matter of issue however, we may get started sooner.

The man claps his hands, and whispers some words you could not hear. After which a man appears from within the doorway. The man is stout, a type reserved for the adventurous. The pale flesh on the man matches his spectral black robes and pointed hood. His eyes are cold, and empty, his hands gnarled, and his back arched.

Clothos, prepare the ceremony. Two is better then none, I suppose.

The hunched servent moves away with obvious sluggish speed. When he is out of ear shot, and sight, your vampiric host continues.

Fine, we shall cut to the chase then. But while I explain myself, perhaps you'd both care for a bit of supper? No use mulling it over on an empty stomach after all.

The host leads the way, if you follow.

The three of you take to the sky. Your journy are the heavens, the peak of the tallest, and surprisingly only, mountain within this plane. The call rings out, more powerful then ever, as you close on the summit. The apparent "attacks" yasen said to suffer seem non-existant.

After a half hour of strenious flight your little trio lands at the peak, far above the clouds below. You land at the mouth of a cavern, it's gaping maw seems to fall offward, deep into darkness, where no light carries.

Whatever powers this plane may possess now seem dorment. And although nightfall closes in once more, now seems as good a time as any to press into the dank darkness that looms in the path. The call pressures you, enticing you to come closer, deeper. Whatever your searching for, it's here, further inward, into the abyss.

[Lix Lorn]

"Okay." said Secret in amazement. "That's awesome."

She tried to form a globe of White mana, firing a bolt of light into the pit, hoping the powerful discharge of sun-mana would light it a little.

Yasen dismisses his griffon and approaches the edge of the cave warily, his experience as a treasure hunter making him careful. He prepares to proceed in his standard way, moving slowly and not making any sudden movements. This is promptly made impossible by Secret's unusual light source. He turns to look at her sourly.

"Subtle."
