That's pretty much the only time it was "good", barring a few bits in 2nd and 3rd Season. I stopped after 3rd Season.

Three seconds wouldn't be very useful for strategy. That timeframe is way to short to do anything but yell "Duck!".

A bigger timeframe might offer too great an advantage. Heck, 5 seconds is time enough to know the timing, ideal route of evasion and counterattack for many things.

The idea behind this power comes from a character in Get Backers that has the ability to see up to 3 seconds into the future. The dude is a pain in the ass because he dodges way too well. Until, of course, the guy he's facing decides it's time to stop playing and tears him a new one too fast for him to dodge.

Psychometry would, if anything, be the more potent of the 2 abilities, and definitely not something a Kido should do. It could provide a whole wealth of information, especially if it was a measured, reliable ability.

The downside of it is that it presents past information. As with any kind of info, if devoid of context or depth, the information is useless.

Really, longer-range precog is the only thing useful for formulating tactics and strategies. Of course, it's also broken. Hence our dilemma.

I mean, 3-5 second precog would be workable as a power of a person who happens to be in 8th, but it's not going to particularly help him be a better member of 8th.

That's sort of what I was aiming for, actually. I just figure whoever makes good use of it is more likely to be in 8th than anywhere else.

My point was that it's mostly useful as a tool in close-combat dodging and the like. Which, in my mind, said 2nd, 11th, or maybe 9th or 10th. *Shrugs*

I wasn't dismissing it. I just figured this guy would be more of a field tactician, is all.

Well, he'd probably fit best in either Recon Tactics, or Combat Tactics.

The more I see the quirky nature of all the Kido Corps. members, the less I understand how Yuuta has stayed as sane as he is. His excessive self-restraint, surrounded on all sides by knee-jerk impulse, has got to be either a tremendous burden or a magnificent challenge (perhaps both).

I believe it's Kouki or Kizoku.

-and I doubt that names for abilities are really that big a deal. You've established the traits, and that's the part that people tend to worry most about.

He then dons his vizard mask, grows to over 50 stories tall, and rocks out on his Gibson Les Paul Shikai while he beam-spams cero obscuras at everything in sight. Unseated Shinigami cry out in impotent terror in the face of this awesome onslaught. "Gojira!"

I’ve been considering it a lot over the last week and a half. But I’ve come to a decision finally so I figured I’d post it. I’ll be officially dropping out of Bleach Reborn as of now. Between the OOC drama, the massive sweeping changes, the inability to get the plot moving after such a long period of time, and the seemingly gridlocked control over what plots go through and don’t by only a select people, the game has lost it’s fun. I was hoping Reborn would be a better environment as opposed to the original game, but if anything, it’s much much worse. I had fun writing what little I did, and it was a pleasure meeting new faces. I hope those of you still in the game enjoy yourselves when/if this game ever takes off.
