Conflict is great! It's the heart of any story, and there isn't much to roleplay without it. However, as a player to player courtesy, please check in with the players who are active at any given time before launching an attack. Not everyone wants to roleplay combat scenes, and sometimes there are other things going on that players don't want to interrupt for a random fight. Either a PM/IM to players, a short post in thread to say (Mind if I introduce a villain here?) or a longer post in the OOC thread if it's a larger plot is appreciated.

We have no banner. You, you, you, and you in the back that never gets to post because s/he is usually ignored...FIND AN AVATARIST AND SEND HIM/HER THIS WAY. Heck, even if someone here is semi-good with photoshop so he can combine our avatars into a cheesy simple banner... That'll be fine too.

Dani smiles a bit, and squeezes back gently, finally letting go. "Thanks. And you're a good man." she says, smiling a bit more, as she slips out of the pool - giving a final splash at Danica - and stands. "You can still feel free to always look, though," she can't resist adding, with a soft giggle. "Well, I need to get back to Sammie - I'll see you tomorrow, alright?"

And with an almost-shy wave, she -

Patty, meanwhile, having finished eating, rests her chin on her hands, her elbows on the table, and looks thoughtful.

Chris is now in the exercising room, doing push-ups. He's still only wearing the shorts from earlier. The dogs are just lounging around, looking at Chris with varying levels of interest.

Dani, meanwhile, heads to the kitchen, wearing this, and grabs a massive bowl and box of cereal.

She empties the entire box into the bowl.

Theo, the tall man with red hair and white bangs, teleports in. He is in casual clothes, not his full tactical gear, but he's carrying a duffelbag and has no less than two visible, holstered handguns on his person. He just happens to walk into the kitchen for something to eat.

It just so happens, that, at the moment, Dani has her back to the kitchen door, so she doesn't know somebody just arrived - or, more precisely, who just arrived. As she pours nearly a whole gallon of milk into the bowl.

Theo stops, and grins as he admires Dani's backside. He sets his bag down quietly on a chair, and starts to make himself a sandwich. That's a lot of food you have there.

"Yeah, it is! I..."
Wait, Dani, that voice sounds familiar...
...and then her cheeks turn bright red.
"...kinda need it to keep my metabolism going," she finishes, not turning around just yet, even as her cheeks blaze.

Theo just sits on the table, smirking around bites of his sandwich and watching her reaction.

Mike meanwhile has wandered off with Aramir,
"I know, buddy. She's not here..."
He gives a sigh,
"Maybe I should have stayed away..."

"Don't say that," Patty says, coming around the corner. "You're needed here. By me, if nothing else." And she looks down, fiddling with the hem of her dress. "I missed you."

In the kitchen, meanwhile, Dani collects herself...and decides she won't be the first one to mention anything.
"So! How have you been?" she asks, more cheerily again, as she turns around and smiles - still blushing, and holding the massive bowl of cereal.

Theo swallows his food and smiles back. I've been all right. Found a secure place to hide out, went walking around, nobody's shot at me yet, so I must be doing well. How have you been, cutie?

Mike turns and gives his daughter a weak smile,

Patty shakes her head. "It wasn't your fault, dad. And you're here, now, and that's the important thing." She looks up at Mike, smiling softly as well. "And...you're going to be a grandpa soon."

Dani's blush doesn't vanish, even as she considers her options.
"Oh, I've been good! Really good. Got a lot of exercise and swimmming done, met some good people..." She giggles, taking a seat at the table.

"That's true."

He slightly fights himself to bite back the comments he has about losing the woman he cares more than anything about. His arms go around Patty, and he tries to clear his thoughts. Even if he could just talk to Angela...
