One Mod to rule them all, One Mod to find them,
One Mod to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
Congratulations Roland for finding help in your neverending task. And welcome all you new mods, good luck in keeping this place as clean as it is.
Thanks to the retired mods, without you this forum wouldn't be what it is now.
I'm just wondering what Roland will do with all the clones he doesn't need now...Avatar by the great Lord Herman. Many, many thanks!

Re: New Moderators and Updated Forum Rules
I could open a new thread as this is a board issue, but probably this thread fits as well for my doubt.
At the bottom of each forum page, there's the list of the Mods responsible for that section. Are the Mods aware that such lists aren't updated?
For example, the Display Options of the Roleplaying Games forum, show:
Moderators: 3 (Roland St. Jude, The Giant, Gray Watcher)
AverageJoe, Mark Hall, The Gliphstone and Vaynor are not yet listed...Do I contradict myself?

Re: New Moderators and Updated Forum Rules
Actually, they have been updated. You'll find that none of those lists now includes any of the retired Moderators.

Re: New Moderators and Updated Forum Rules
Yeah, I'm aware. It's not a simple tick and flick job and I haven't gotten around to updating that yet. Well, other than removing the retired mods.

Yeah, I supposed a similar thing.
No problem for me, even without a remind in the display options, I know where to find all of you...Do I contradict myself?

Re: New Moderators and Updated Forum Rules
Congratulat...wait what? Looks at averagejoe carefully.
Hero in the playground eh? I once held a similar title. If you go changing that to Superhero now, just don't use Supa. That's copyrighted* (and believe me you don't want the mispronuciation headache.)
Where was I? oh yeah.
Congratulations to the new Mods. A title/job well deserved/earned and I hope you keep your hair with it.
Farewell retired Mods. Long you have helped make this place great, and I hope you still have hair left on your heads from all the times we made you want to pull it out.

Re: New Moderators and Updated Forum Rules
Hey all, me again. I gotta say, I'm totally impressed by the response speed of the new moderators. I reported a necro today and within minutes it was locked. Maybe someone else reported it before I did and it only seemed like an instant response, but I'll give credit for that. I'm not knockin the amazing job Roland did, but gosh darnit things are good. This isn't just mindless syncophantical adoration, I really am impressed!
Keep up the good work my friends! And kudos!

Re: New Moderators and Updated Forum Rules
I don't think throwing Roland into a volcano is actually against the rules. That is to say, it'd be out of our jurisdiction unless the volcano existed on the forums somehow.

Re: New Moderators and Updated Forum Rules
Are you kidding man! Of course they're mind control! The mod's got space satelliet-
I am just telling a joke. There is no mind control. There is no satellites. Ha. Ha.
Also, thanks for letting me know. Perhaps someday, Maxios will be a moderator, a power hungry, mind controlling, almighty being.

Re: New Moderators and Updated Forum Rules
Congratulations to the new moderators, and happy retirement to the old!
It is a joyful thing indeed to hold intimate converse with a man after one’s own heart, chatting without reserve about things of interest or the fleeting topics of the world; but such, alas, are few and far between.

Re: New Moderators and Updated Forum Rules
I'm not done yet!
That was created with old information... now that the moderators have been placed in the bottom right-hand box on each of the main forums, I can update it.
Realm of the Mods
By Eternal Drifter, Serpentine, and Strawberries
Eight for the Discussion, Media, and Issues.
Six for the Games, uniter of the Forum.
Seven for the Comics, masters of the arts.
Three for the Play-by-Post, for the games of all sorts.
In the web of vBulletin, where the Playground lies.
One Mod to make the rules, one Mod to code them.
One Mod to scrub them all, and from the forum ban them.
In the web of vBulletin, where the Playground lies...
And thanks for the Internets...
