3.5 Awakened turtle

Well in the campaign I am currently playing with some friends I elected to try out a homebrew'd class of the DM's and one of the class features is the ability to attract a cohort in the form of an Awakened Animal or a Fey. So naturally I thought it might be quite fun to create an Awakened turtle Medium Sized or close to. Then I got to wondering, "What would an awakened turtle look?" So how would an awakened turtle look to you?

Canonically? It would look exactly the same as a regular turtle.

But I have to admit the first thing that came into my head when I saw the thread title was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles...

Stats-wise. I have MM's I-III but saw nothing for turtles.

Yeah that was the main idea. I figured it would be pretty hilarious to pull out at the last minute. I mean everyone has wolves, bears, and giant eagles.... But who really pulls out Michaelangelo?

Yeah, that would be Anthropomorphic (template in... Oriental Adventures I believe?) not Awakened.
