I'm not sure if I'd disarmed the acid then, I got a 12 with the -4, Scorer 12 with higher modifier factoring in his +9. Though I doubt that Point Blank Shot would have applied

You get a +1 bonus on attack and damage rolls with ranged weapons at ranges of up to 30 feet.

Since he isn't targetting anyone when I disarm him, so there's not range

But even if the disarm failed, I can soak the damage, keep my rolls and grapple him to death. Just wanted to point out that he may have won the disarm after all

Hmm... I think PBS would actually apply there. It makes no mention of targets, just of rolls made at up to that distance. Regardless, as you say, it doesn't change the outcome. Just means that acid flask was used up.
