[Nexus] Good League of Good LVIII: Shaken, but not baked

Quinn looks over the application, then back up, with a nod and a smile.
"Welcome to GLoG. A lot of our cabins did get damaged recently, however if you're willing to pitch in and help fix them up, that would be great, and would allow for you to stay indoors."

Praetorious gives a small smile in return. "Alright. I will build. Where do I start?" He starts walking towards the (I presume there to be one) pile of lumber being used to build cabins.

"I believe Edijar is in charge," Quinn says, also heading over to the lumber pile, as Jamie starts fixing another batch of sandwiches.

[Main Lodge]

Nadas undeadtimes.
Normally it's about this time he'd start reading feverishly. If one could read feverishly.
However, he needed to resupply himself with essentials. New clothes and the like. Or at least the same clothes, but multiple copies as it were with these characters.

So takes that magic scimitar he found and starts heading out to go to Inside to sell!

Reelshka is sitting on the pile of lumber, scribbling something in her sketchbook, surrounded with measuring instruments.

Praetorious pauses as he hefts a large stack of lumber in each arm. Them superpowers really come in handy for construction. "Which one is Aydeegar?" He asks, mispronouncing the name.

[UncleWolf]

"I am." Says a man in black power armor as he pulls the frame of a wall to a standing position, next to three others. It's the skeleton of a new cabin. Edijar is a 30ish looking man with steel gray hair and eyes. He's unshaven at the moment, showing a "three day's growth" look. His face shows that he's seen some horrifying things, but it also shows that he's not the kind of man to flinch away from it. He's also armed with a holstered pistol on his hip.

Praetorious gains some immediate respect for this man. He seems to radiate a feeling of authority and power. Something Prae had himself, a while back. "I am Praetorious. I've decided to join the Good League of Good, and I'd like to help you build your homes."

[UncleWolf]

"They aren't my cabins. Unless you mean mine as in I'm the one building them." He says as he begins using a powerful nail gun, shooting them into the wood to keep the frame standing. "I'm not the kind of person who'd fit in here."

[Murkus]

Prae sets down his stacks of wood, going to find a hammer and nails. "Ah. If you are not a member, then why do you assist them?"

"Also, where may I help?"

[UncleWolf]

"I help, because I can." He answers simply. That, and because he knew how much this place meant to Charity, and he'd do anything for her. He picks up a 100lb piece of frame for the roof. "I'm going to start putting on the roof. I'll hold it if you hammer it in." He goes to do so, and will keep working through his deadtime as his player will be leaving for a while soon.

[Murkus]

"That sounds... amiable." Praetorious says, slightly confused. He climbs up on the roof, and proceeds to start hammering it in alongside the man in power armor. I, too, may have to deadtime pretty soon, so when I do, Prae can keep working.

I would think the power-armor-user and the superhuman can work pretty fast.

Toby is wandering around and talking to himself under his breath, apparently hellbent on making people question his sanity.

In the main cabin, calmed down now, Marley works on cooking pancakes for the people working on fixing up the cabins. The smell of fresh pancakes drifts through the air.

Tobias may sense something stalking him. Something large.

Without giving any indication that he's aware, Toby tries to use his senses to figure out what's stalking him.

Quinn, meanwhile, has headed inside to the Main Cabin at the moment, to fix a dinner for everybody working.

It's a large sabretooth tiger. One can probably tell normally without special senses because it's

Cause Mister Buttons wants to knock Tobias over, then lick his face with his stinky cat breath.

Gah! The Druid is knocked to the ground and pinned. Animal Empathy! Animal Empathy!

Mister Buttons stops and lies down on Tobias, purring, eyes half closed in smug satisfaction.

Marley is already busy cooking, lots of pancakes made.

"Hmm, hmm, hmm."

[Main Cabin]

"Hello, Marley. Feeling better?" Quinn asks with a smile, unaware of her husband's being claimed by a large cat , as she starts rummaging in the cabinets for the ingredients for lentil soup.

[Main Cabin]

"A bit. How are things going out there?"

Marley flips a pancake up in the air.

Toby finds the giant, sabretooth tiger lying on top of him, applying the pressure of what is no doubt several hundred kilos right on his squishy bits. I'm sure he would be very uncomfortable right now, vis a vis the being crushed to death... but then again, this reminds him of Quinn. (Zing! )
What the Hell are you doing here? Toby mumbles into the beast's smothering fur.

Ooooooh, burn.
But I blame Quinn for wanting to get pregnant.

Mister Buttons, not unexpectedly, doesn't reply. He's just a big cat.
He does purr a bit louder though. And yawn a big old cat yawn, which is all the more exaggerated for his size. I think he might just fall asleep right here.

"You so did not just call me fat!"

[Main Cabin]

"Slow but sure. The cabins are going to be back up in no time." Quinn smiles happily as she sets about starting the soup on the other stive.

Toby starts squirming underneath Buttons, feebly trying to get out from underneath him. Finally he resorts to turning into a wisp of air and floating out from underneath to appear next to the big old cat. He tries to scowl, but... it's a kitty!

"That's good."

Marley keeps on cooking.

"Any where I should put these?"

Praetorious undeadtimes for about half an hour, finishing the roof on the cabin he and Edijar (Ihopethat'sspelledright) were working on.

The human/void-creature hops down, looking around.

"Right over there," Quinn says, pointing at the Magic KeepItWarm Plate™ next to the stoves. "They'll keep there until somebody's ready to eat them."

Mister Buttons looks around confused until it suddenly reappears next to him.
He stares at Tobias like he's either really awesome, yet really mean. Some sort of half-look that tries to impose guilt for taking away his warm bed. He'll stand up proper and flick his tail.
