Disabling Pop-up Blockers

What it says in the title. I trying to apply for a job online and the site says I need to have them disabled. How do I do this?

If you are using firefox, its under the Tools/Addon section. I have pop-up blockers and they are useful!

Internet explorer it is under Tools/Internet Options and then, I think security privacy section, at the bottom
