I express reserved annoyance at my loss which was nearly a victory. I obviously underestimated you severely, young one. Well played. The Martian disappears into an Archway of the Forbidden One.

((Good duel, that was really close. If I had only summoned Alien Kid with Monster Reborn on that one round and taken out Gol'Gar, you would have had an empty field and been at 600 LP, which would have been a lot better for me. Sigh.

In terms of your deck, it obviously works quite well. You might consider splashing some DARK machines, like some Tuners or Allies of Justice, and then running Chaos Sorcerer, but that would change an awful lot in the deck. I feel that Shining Angel is largely unnecessary, though. Even if you do not try a Cyber/Chaos fusion, you might want to try running Beckoning Light in place of one or two Pots of Duality, so you can recover your key cards from the graveyard.))

OOC: Thanks. If it hadn't been for how broken Monster Reborn is (and it's definitely going back to the ban list come March), I definitely would have lost early. Shining Angel has actually tended to be very useful in seeking both Cyber Dragon Zwei and Proto-Cyber Dragon, while Pot of Duality is critical for the draw power that Cyber OTK decks tend to lack natively. Since PoD is effectively a 1-for-1 (as well as allowing you to optimize your draw by selecting which card you want), it essentially reduces a 40 card deck to 37 cards for the low cost of disallowing special summons for a single turn, and even Quickdraw Turbo doesn't special summon on every turn. I do need to cut a card to reduce the deck to 40, though, and you're right that Beckoning Light would also be useful. It might also be that Angel is less useful with this format's emphasis on monster destruction, but I think a lot of people will still be tempted to destroy it conventionally and save cards like Dark Hole for bigger threats.

As for your deck, I'm not really sure if I have any thoughts since I've never run Aliens. Oshaleon doesn't seem to be very useful since it puts the cards in your hand rather than on the field, but it might be useful for seeking Ammonite if nothing else. Alien Brain is a card I've found to be very fun in my Reptillianne deck to steal away enemy monsters for my own use, as was Offerings to the Snake Deity; the latter might end up being Starlight Road fodder in this format, on the other hand. Viper's Rebirth also can work well with a Solidarity Reptile build, though it's a one-turn wonder. Dark Hole, on the other hand, I'd definitely try to find room for. It's just too useful for anti-swarm, and you can recover field presence quickly with Ammonite+4 synchro as well.
