Strictly speaking, it's not luck magic; the description of the item is that it makes you successful in all your endeavors. (for the price of your mortal soul, blah blah blah...) If The Moff knew Gordon had a source of power and wasn't just a sorcerer or some obscure prestige class or something, then he could set out to destroy it. However, I've tried to avoid "blind luck" in serious encounters, because that's not what the object does. Joke's on me, though, I guess, because The Moff is hardly successful in all his endeavors...

The Moff is willing to parley with Gordon to consider bringing him home, but Gordon would have to eat a lot of crow to make that happen. And like Moff said, a few minutes shouldn't permanently affect anyone who is used to chatting with D_Lord.

Or, he stays on the Yellow Road I guess. =/
