Donovan hears the sneeze.

Beck smiled. Thanks. Well, where I'm from, we say God bless you. By the way, could you get me a... she paused, thinking about what to order. Mochaccino, perhaps?

Sora sighs.

"Screw it, I'll go to a cafe. I'm bored anyways."

He walks for a bit, and enters Venti Buon, shuddering a bit at the memories of what Yoko did to him here.

[Draken]

"Of course, of course. Rosa, Eirine!"

Donovan swiftly has the mochaccino prepared, and waits for one of the waitresses to come fetch it.

At the same time, Izumi enters the cafe, looking... exhausted.

Someone didn't get much sleep last night.

Sora glances over at Izumi, grinning his sharp-toothed death head grin.

It's one of those things people get used to about him.

"You look tired today. Bad night for sleeping?"

He says this casually, while looking out at the corner of his eye at Beck, praying to god she doesn't notice him.

That would be bad. He didn't want to have 3 confrontations in one day.

She looks at him sleepily. "Some guys were being noisy outside."

She looks at the nearest waiter. "Coffee, please..."

Rosa heard Donovan call out. "Right away sir!" She then gets right on serving the mochaccino. On the way, she takes Izumi's order. Thus, she gives a trade of orders, and then goes to serve Becky her order. "Here you go!" The whole time she does this with a smile.

Sora nods sympathetically.

It's strange, considering his usual personality how he acts with Izumi.

"I see how that is. Somebody broke my window.

Again.

In hindsight, I probably shouldn't sleep in an abandoned house."

"...well, if you're sleeping in it, technically it isn't abandoned..."

[Terry576]

"But my house isn't registered, I don't pay for it, and it's classified as 'condemned'. Therefore it's abandoned."

He glances up at the cashier and says politely,

"I'll take a coffee too. But make it black. Black as the sky on a moonless night. Black as the day of an eclipse! BLACK AS MY SOUL!"

He appears to be acting needlessly dramatic.

Izumi looks at him flatly. "Did you find out who threw the brick?"

Sora looks shifty and mutters something.

If she has good ears she could hear the words "People" and "School" and the phrase "One of these days..."

She frowns. "Sora, what happened?"

Rosa calmly delivered the orders, then swung around by Izumi and Sora with their orders. "Here you go! Your coffee and your coffee, black just like you ordered it."

Sora shuffles awkwardly.

"Well, some people from school might have followed me to my house, and they might have brought bricks and thrown them at me as I tried to open the door, and one of those might have gone through the window."

Seeing a distraction, Sora smiles gratefully at Rose and grabs his coffee, beginning to sip it.

Izumi sighs. "Idiots."

Her reiatsu actually leaks out a little as she frowns.

Then she looks at Rose. "Thank you very much."

Sora shrugs.

"It's fine Izumi. I'm used to it. It's just... sometimes I wish they wouldn't attack me at home. School's fine."

He looks down at his coffee, glumly.

His reiatsu appears to be oozing out of him, in a vaguely sloth-like way.

Izumi pauses. Looks at Sora. "Ummm... Sora? Is there anything else you want to tell me?

...like why you've got reiatsu?"

She whispers this last bit to him, trying to not let anyone else hear.

Sora panics a bit, and it starts pouring out a bit more.

"R-r-r-reiatsu? That's a made-up word right? I-I-I mean we stopped playing those games when we were like ten right? Heh. Good one. Reiatsu. What's next, swords that turn into other swords?"

Izumi looks at him flatly. "Sora. Please don't take me for an idiot."

Sora starts guzzling coffee.

His reiatsu's not being very... You know. Hidden.

At all.

"Sora, please. Tell me what's going on. I only just got thrown into this whole mess a couple of weeks ago."

Sora finishes his coffee and begins talking fast.

Really fast.

Before the conversation starts about reiatsu, Rosa smiled and gave them a "your welcome" and goes off to serve others with cafe goods.

"...heh. I got attacked too... but this guy came and gave me his powers. Said he was a Shinigami.

Then he disappeared."

Sora nervously twitches.

"Oh."

He edges away slightly. Rex has made him paranoid.

And he just told what he was in the middle of a cafe, near Beck.

And with his luck today, it was gonna go bad.

Izumi looks at him. "I get the feeling we'll need each other's support to get through this."

Sora looks back at her, his red eyes reflecting in hers.

"You see, this is why you confuse me. I reveal I'm technically a Hollow, and you don't do anything about it."

He sighs and shakes his head, grinning. "But... Yeah. I guess sometimes two is better then one, eh?"

"...technically never held much weight with me. It's not where powers come from, it's how you use them."
