Ah, so it's druidism rather than arcane enchantment. Not unlike alchemy, too. I've recently started to branch out into making magic amulets myself recently... to broaden the Emporium's offer. I've only tried making the simplest ones so far, though.

Have you? I thought alchemists made magical items all the time.

Yes and no. I was taught to create potions, powders, oils and such. Alchemists can create magic amulets, charms, tools and weapons, but it is seen as a non-mainstream form of the craft, at least where I come from, and it is reserved for the more experienced alchemists.

Riv does not even blink as Len charges, but Len probably does, as bullets materialize right in front of his face, meaning he's about to charge into them!

Emily, inconveniently, is still concentrating.

Val's timeline

Riv, for his part, just might find himself with a burst of electricity flying at his back.

It seems Val has drawn her Zat, opened it, and fired it.

Ranged assault with intent to stun!

Crissy's timeline

Crissy giggles quietly, sipping her drink as she watches her friends talk.

The electricity hits Riv dead on, making his hair stand up and.... Well, that's it. (What kind of made scientit wouldn't make himself electricity-proof? On who wouldn't last long, that's who.)

[The Bushranger]

And so Val, not wanting to kill the mad scientist, pulls out her other gun, despite her pain from being shot in the leg.

And fires it.



...yes, it's on stun.

"If yer lookin' for some'un polite, look away from da pirate, cute as I may be."

Ermine continues to watch the fight with interest, while staying safe under her hat of course. Well, as safe as you can be under a hat. In fact, its weird how she can completely hide underneath the hat at one moment and yet wear it at another.

Len swats the bullets away with the flats of his blades.

Like I said, guns are quite unreliable.

Len looks towards Emily.

Miss Emily, please don't interfere. I can handle this.

[ThirdEmperor]

The shot hit's Riv dead on in the leg, and he staggers back for a second, then bullets materialize, shooting at Val from all directions. Meanwhile, Riv aims and fires at where Len was.

(I love the time-gun.)

Emily ignored him, continuing the process.

(Real bullet or a ray? I'm going to assume real bullet)

Len hits the bullet with the flats of both of his blades, sending it flying back at Riv. He then jumps over the bar and swings one of his swords down at Riv's head.

Riv's fancy goggles save his life again blocking the sword, which is now stuck in Riv's goggles! Bullets materialize all around Len, coming at him from every direction! One also shoots towards Emily!

Len lets go of the sword in the goggles and spins, throwing a knife to intercept the bullet heading towards Emily and swinging his other sword towards Riv's neck. As the knife is flying, several corporeal projections appear and push it, speeding it along its way.

Leave her out of this. Len snarls, as the bullets hit him.

I will not harm any bystanders who do not interfere. Says Riv, pulling the blade out of his goggles and swapping his gun to the other hand, fring it at the places the bullets came from before. Now, let us return to the business of your death. He says, swinging the blade at Len's head as bullets shoot at him from behind

[Lix Lorn]

Emily opens her eyes with a flare of energy.
"Won't be necessary, Len." she murmurs. Her hair is longer, a headband covering her forehead. Holding up a hand, a long, slightly curved sword of tremendous size appears.

Shining through the headband is a golden symbol, in the shape of a shining sun.

"I 'ave ah question.

Why are you guysh fighting?"

Ermine peeks out from under the hat to ask the question.

MAD SCIENCE!!!

Raz, who is I believe, still sitting next to Emily, stands up, looking pissed.

He mutters a spell - if it works, Riv will be trapped still in one place, unable to move

"Won't be necessary, Rae."

(I'm Len here, not Rae. Rae is at GLoG, oh, and I already did the throwing stuff, so)

The bullets and sword hit, and the sword and corporeal projection fade.
(I use this trick a lot, don't I?)

Len is nowhere to be seen.

Emiria dashes forwards, feet not even touching the ground, and attempts to put her daiklaive to Riz' neck.
"I am a warrior of the Unconquered Sun, and if I have to kill you, I will." she said simply.

[Rae Artemi]

A projection appears behind Emiria.
Miss Emily, would you mind terribly allowing me to handle this? He attacked my friends, and lit me on fire, so this is sort of personal.

[Lix Lorn]

Emily/Emiria responds quietly.
"He attacked my friends-and me, in a place of relaxation. So I'm sorry, but no."

[Project_Mayhem]

Raz is still focusing on locking Riv in one place. Other than the fact that he's standing and watching, there should be no indication he's doing anything

[Rae Artemi]

Well then, I guess I'll just have to be careful not to kill you.

The projection fades, and Len jumps down from the rafters, flipping backwards and swinging is swords at the small of Riv's back.

[Zefir]

"Ms Val! Len! Aim for the enormous battery. If you are able to destroy it he will be weaker."

((I hate to be stuck in an action cause I know my next post will be in 13 hours.))

A projection appears beside Andy.

Battery? I don't see a battery.

[Zefir]

Riv appears in a hurst of light, holding a revolver hooked up to what appears to be a enormous battery he wears as a backpack. Oh great, just great,I was looking forward to getting drunk again! He yells.

"It's his backpack"

Oh. It's a good thing I'm already swinging for it then.

The projection fades.

Ermine sits up, placing the hat on top of her head somehow.

"Ar, it seems tha' he'sh deadtimed now. Any'un up fer a drink?"

The ermine signals the bartender and gets another bottle o' grog, which she starts drinking. You'know, it might not be the best thing for the small mustlide to do...
